Two whole hours trappened a car with jonghyun was nothing but pure torture. i honestly thought i was gonna rip my hair out, it was so awkward and silent everytime one of us tried to start a convo it would just be extremely awkward, even trying to play music made it awful because all the stupid radio stations would play is love songs.It was like a slow and painful road trip from hell 

how did we get this way? like honestly a few weeks ago we were all fine and now everything is awkward and uncomfortable ugh someone save me

"hey key?"jonghyun pulled me out of my thoughts "what?"i questioned looking over at him and he pointed out the window "we have been sitting in the car for 10 minutes are we going to get out sometime today?" i glanced over to see my parents cabin "oh yeah"i opened the door getting out and walking to the back to grab our stuff.

i grabbed out my bags and closed the trunk when jonghyun got his and started walking towards the cabin im so nervous for my parents to find out that jonghyun in well

i guess its now or never i took a deep breath and walked into the cabin "KEY IS THAT YOU?"i heard my mother yell from the kitchen "YEAH"i yelled back setting my bags down and motioning for jonghyun to do the same i looked up to see my mother whiping her hands on an apron "sorry im a little messy i was prepairing things for lunch "she paused and looked at jonghyun questionably

"oh who is this? where is your lady?" i took another deep breath and moved my hand in jonghyuns direction "Mom, this is jonghyun. jonghyun, this is my mom. jonghyun is, . . well you see . . .he . . we kind of .. . .together. . i dont know what happened and well yeah"i tried explaining but couldint quite get the right words out

"ok i understood none of that except that his name is jonghyun. key hunny use your words" i went to speak but was cut off by jonghyun "i am the one who has the honor of spend the rest of my life with your son"he smiled brightly at her and held out his hand to shake hers "you . . .what?" she looked at jonghyun with a confused look

"well miss kim our paths were fated and yes i know you probably expected me to be a girl just like i expected key to be and girl and he expected me to be a girl it was a very weird and confusing thing at first but we are giving it a shot and the head of the company for the clocks said that if we decide we dont wanna be together after 2 months he will try to fix the whole thing"jonghyun explained leaving me standing there awkwardly observing my moms face hoping for some sort of reaction but nothing she just stared at him blankly

"mom? hellooooo?"i waved my hand in front of her face "w-why don't you two go unpack ill finish lunch"she said blankly walking back to the kitchen "i think you broke my mom"i joked trying to lighten the mood "me too im sorry"he laughed a little "lets just . . grab our things and go unpack try to make the best of this weekend?"he nodded and followed me grabbing our things and
