Chapter 7: Satur-Date (Part 1)

 

 

Taeyeon’s POV

 

It was Saturday morning and Taeyeon has nothing to do and feels bored, she was thinking of a way to help Jessica so that Sooyoung will fall for her but then someone pops into her mind. She can’t help but smile and then she remembered what Sica told her before.

 

“Why not tell her? What keeps you hiding it from her? I thought you were the bravest person I know.”

 

Am I really brave? Is it the right time to tell her that I like her? But she’s my childhood friend.

 

‘What will I do?’ Taeyeon thought and sighed.

 

“Might as well give it a try then.” She said while grabbing her cellphone and dialed her childhood friend’s number.

 

Riiiinnngggg… Riiiinnngggg…

 

“Yeoboseyo?” said the person on the other line.

 

Thump…

Thump…

Thump…

 

“Tae-Tae? Are you there?”

 

‘Well, this is it!’ Taeyeon thought.

 

 

Tiffany’s POV

 

It was just a typical Saturday morning to her, she wakes up and wait for some friends to ask her out and have some shopping. Then her phone rings and she immediately grabs her phone and looked on the caller’s id. She was so happy to receive a call from her childhood friend. Though they are studying on the same school and in the same class, she wasn’t able to talk to her most of the time because they belong on the different groups. So she immediately answered the phone.

 

“Yeoboseyo?”

‘Hmmm… why is she not responding?’

 

“Tae-Tae? Are you there?”

“Hey Tiff! Good Morning!” said the person on the other line.

“Hey Tae-Tae! Good Morning too!” she said while smiling.

“How are you Tiff? It’s been a long time since we had a talk. I really miss you~”

 

Thump…

‘Why is my heart beating like this?’ She thought.

 

“Y-yeah Tae-Tae, I-I’m fine.” ‘Why am I stuttering?’

“Are you ok? Why are you stuttering?” Taeyeon said with a concern tone.

 

‘Wow! I really must have missed this person very much!’

 

“It’s nothing Tae-tae. I miss you too! We are in the same school but we don’t have a time to bond.” Then an idea popped into my head. “Are you busy now Tae-tae?”

“…”

“Tae-tae are you still there?”

“Y-yes Tiff, I-I’m still h-here.”

 

‘What’s wrong with us? Why are we stuttering? Weird.’ I thought.

 

“So Tae-tae? Are you busy today?”

“Nope, I’m free today. Why?”

“Cool, I want to go shopping, maybe we can bond while in the mall. I really miss you and we have so many things to talk about.”

“Oh, O-ok. I will ask permission first then I’ll just fetch you. Is that ok?”

 

Thump…

“O-ok, I’ll see you then. Bye Tae-tae.”

“Bye Tiff”

 

I hanged up after she said goodbye. I really don’t know why am I feeling like this. As I remember I only stutter in front of Soo or when I’m talking with Soo. I just shrugged the thought, maybe I just miss my childhood friend so much that I acted like this.

 

I immediately grab my towel and went to the comfort room and took a shower. After finishing washing myself, it took me some time to completely decide on what to wear.

 

“Whaaa, why is it so hard to choose?” I was so irritated with it.

“Wait…? Why am I doing? This isn’t a date? Why am I bothering myself with what I should wear?” I mumbled and face palmed my face.

 

So I just decided to wear a skinny jeans and a V-neck pink t-shirt and a sandals. After deciding what to wear, I texted Tae-tae to let her know that I’m ready to go. Then I went to our living room to wait for her. I saw my umma in the living room talking to someone in her cellphone. So I silently walk pass her and sit on the other sofa.
