Untitled LoveI see Jonghyun standing in front of me and I just state at him, thinking that he's just my halucination, he's not real. And the next thing happens is: I touch his cheek as he smiles, then realize that he's not my halucination. He's the real Jonghyun.
Oh. My. God. What have I done?
I pull back my hand with heat covers up my cheeks and apologize to him, as a sign I move my pride aside, obeying Rob.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," I bow, really ashamed until I couldn't face him. Never felt like this before, totally ashamed. "I don't mean to. I'm sorry."
I bet my face now all red and so do my ears.
He touches my backhand softly, to get my attention. "Hey it's okay, really. Don't worry. Your hand didn't make my cheekbones go red or fractured."
"Mhmm." I nod feeling better cause he already try to crack a joke. "I'm sorry, Jonghyun-ssi."
"It doesn't matter," he starts to walk and I follow him. I stay behind him about a meter or two, thought he wouldn't realize it, but I'm mistaken. Is he spying me or what? Oh of course not, because I think it must be obvious if I walk a meter behind me.
He stops his steps and turns his back to face me. With a casual voice, he says, "Should I slow down my walking speed to walk side by side with you?"
I stare at him with a shocked look, or unbelieving look when he finally walks toward me and touches my elbow lightly. "Or you don't like to walk with me?"
"Oh!" I startle and give him an awkward smile. "Yeah, let's walk."
He smiles and naturally takes my right side when the road is on my right side. Wow, he's a gentleman, I know.
The silence between us is not awkward, but calms me down and when I finally take control of my body and mind, I open up a conversation.
"So, Jungshin-ssi will be there too?"
"Hmm? At our meeting point?" He tilts his head to look at me while talking. "I guess so."
"Minhyuk-ssi sent me a text message. He said he and Yonghwa-ssi couldn't make it," I fix my hair naturally as an interested sign to something. "Why don't you join them to go to recording studio?"
"Ah, the producer called them, they haven't finished their recording."
I nod beside him.
"Are you feeling better now?" I can feel his caring side when he talks and smile realizing that.
"Not much," I pout. "Seeing my friends practicing with their attributes makes me sad, anxious and... empty."
He gives me a warm and patient look, waiting me to continue my story.
"Well, okay," I say. "Actually, I'm upset. I can't practice, I can't stand on balance beam, can't wear my training suit, can't jump over the unniven bars. I can do nothing at all. I'm frustrated."
Okay, I'm not like this usualy but I don't know why, I can express feeling well by words to him. Now, I feel a lot better after vomitting my feelings and I'm quite surprised.
"You know what," he looks into my eyes and seems doesn't suprised at all. "Sometimes we need to take a break from our hobby and routine. Just accept your healing time as your rest time, like refreshing your mind. You can come up with new fresh idea when you recover later, who knows?"
He's right. "Just enjoy your rest time, don't let your injury ruin your mood everyday."
I process his words and smile. His words amazingly make all my burdensome fly away and I don't feel upset anymore. He's right. I need to take a break from gymnastic and this is the right time. I've never been take a break from it ever since I started. It must be really tiring for me and I just realize it.
"You're like a wise-old man," I smile widely as I walk beside him. "Ahjussi."
"Hey, don't call me like that," he pouts for a second, then smiles as I'm about to laugh. "I'm not an old man, young lady."
"Your face is older than your age," I mock him, kidding of course. How can his handsome-baby face looks older than his age?
Oh my God. Did I just tell you that he's handsome? Okay, he's handsome, but maybe I'll never admit it in front of him.
"Really? How about you, Miss? Is your face can be considered as a pretty face?" he laughs when suddenly a group of junior high school students run toward us and bump to me. I lose my balance and about to tumble onward then kiss the asphalt, if a manly strong hand didn't hold me by my stomach.
I haven't regain my balance and still in Jonghyun's support. He stands beside me, almost behind me, with his hand supports me, like giving me a back hug.
My heart beats faster as I feel his breathe against my hair and I can't concentrate to regain my balance. I just wanna stay in this moment. Forever. Please, someone stop the time.
"Are you hurts somewhere, Eunyi-ah?" he asks me and helps me to stand on my own feet, but my injury suddenly throbs and hurts me.
I finally make it, stand on my own feet with a leg throbbing. I smile awkwardly to him. "I'm okay. I'm okay. Thanks."
"It's great, then," he slips my hair to the back of my ears, I bet now my hair is a total mess until he fixs it for me. "Ah... students nowadays..."
"Back then, you were a student too," I say, to get my heart-rate back to normal. It beats even faster when his finger was between my hair...
"Mhmm," he nods. "You just graduated from high school, don't you?"
This time, I nod. But as he opened up a conversation with that topic, I don't think this is the right time to talk about it. Because I know very well, if we talk about high school and university live, I might be spill out my past. I would remember all those memories I want to forget. I don't wanna recall it.
"Yeah," I smile to him, to push away my bad feeling that starts to appear. "What are we gonna eat there? I'm hungry. I haven't had my lunch today."
And by that, the topic changed.
