"It's not a myth. I can see it" he said while raising his pinky finger as if trying to prove his point. 

"See what?" I asked and he beamed brightly like a child. Yes, very much like a child. 

"The red strings." He answered in a sing-song tone. 

"The red strings of fate?" I almost burst laughing. Almost. 

"Yup. And --" He blushed furiously copying the shade of a ripe tomato. 

"What?" 

"Yours and mine. We're connected" He announced embarrasedly. 

"So?"

"It means that I must have your name. And, oh, the name's Xiumin. I live next door" He grinned amiably. 

"Luhan. The name's Luhan. Nice to meet you, Xiumin" I answered with a smile.
