Foreword

The cold breeze of the air brought down shivers down towards Min Hee's spine, noticing how much she fidgeted over the past hour. Her resume has just been submitted, and she doesn't know whether she can pass and replace her cousin Miyoung for the time being. She had been trained for the past few months despite the really tight schedule that's in her hands, but she knew she had to do this.

Her name had been called, so she set her foot towards the room that would decide her fate. A man clad in dark clothes is in front of her, checking her resume with steely eyes. She looked at him with cold eyes, for memories stirred up once again inside her mind, memories that are best to be kept hidden.

"You want to replace your cousin for the time being, am I correct?" the man asked with a raspy tone.

"Yes. Just for two months until my cousin has recovered from her accident." Minhee replied seriously, her usual cold tone in play.

"You seem to have the skills we just need. Although your cousin is a freelance make-up artist, is it okay for you to sign up to an exclusive contract that would last for two months?" her eyes widened in shock. She didn't expect to hear this, but she made up her mind. It is actually a good sign for her, knowing that she would only work exclusively in a very wealthy and productive conglomerate.

This was all going according to her plan, so she nodded in satisfaction.

"Great." the man handed her a clipboard. The clipboard contains the contract she needed to sign, and she read every word in the paper very clearly. You need to read a contract from beginning to end, for there are things that must be read before signing a contract. "Just sign this contract, and you can immediately start your job."

How many times did she did this? She already lost count. Pen in hand, she signed the contract with a straight face. The permanent ink intact, she shook hands with the man who she knows would monitor her every activity. She opened the door, looking back for the last time.

It was going to be fun, she muttered with venom.
