Siwon's POV

“you said you would break up with her”

“yes, and I did break up with her”

“you did? Then why was she there?”

“she insisted on coming… we’re just friends”

“yet, you caressed her hands?”

“no malice”

“maybe for you, but not for Taeyeon”

I raised my eyebrow at what Kyuhyun said. It’s just the three of us hanging out at our usual place. Taeyeon is out to the market with her mother. He’s been bombarding me with questions about Hyuna while he grimaced at me. It’s rare though, it has always been Donghae who nags at me and not Kyuhyun. Donghae is just silent on the side. He hasn’t spoken to anyone since awhile ago.

“what do you mean Kyuhyun?” I asked

“you’ve been an who keeps hurting Taeyeon” Donghae finally spoke.

“hey, where the hell did your goddamn respect go Lee Donghae?!” I am totally pissed off right now. This is the first time he spoke to me after the contest and now he talks about me. What the hell is wrong with this guy?

“respect?” Donghae scoffed. “why would I respect someone who would constantly hurt my best friend?!” Donghae suddenly attacked me, landing a punch on my face and sending me to the ground

“what the is your problem Hae?!” now it’s my turn to attack him

“you are! And for your information I was just granting Myungsoo’s request” Hae retaliated. I saw the sudden questioning look on Kyuhyun’s face. “I thought you were against it?” Kyuhyun asked. Donghae just wiped the blood from the side of his lips. “And let you punch him? I don’t think your punch would straighten him up” Hae scoffed. “yeah, right”

“what the are you talking about?!” I questioned. My anger is boiling up now. Hae raised his brow on me and answered “Myungsoo, Taeyeon’s brother wants me to punch you hard. Like this” and another punch hit my face.

Donghae and I got into a fight, shouting bad words at each other. Our taunting and provocations didn’t make sense as we went on while Kyuhyun just watched us. Taeyeon suddenly burst through the door and came between the two of us

“Stop it!” she screamed and Donghae just followed what she said while Kyuhyun pulled me off from Hae. I am downright pissed with how Donghae was acting. He was never the aggressive nor the violent one. I tried to assault Donghae again just to relieve myself with the anger that’s been pending in my system but unfortunately I ended up hurting Taeyeon.

“Taeyeon!” Kyuhyun and Donghae yelled in horror. “Taeng, are you okay?!” Kyuhyun frantically asks while he held Taeyeon like how a lover would.

My fist had landed on Taeyeon’s little arms sending her to the floor.

“I’m okay” Taeyeon weakly answered as she slowly stood up. “it doesn’t hurt that bad Kyuhyun ah. Don’t worry, arasseo?” Taeyeon patted Kyuhyun’s head assuring us that she was fine

“Hae ah, Siwon ah why were you fighting anyways?” she walked towards us while her hands were on her waist. Donghae and I remained silent despite Taeyeon’s questioning gaze upon us. Taeyeon then showed her beautiful smile

“ara, if it’s about boy stuff then I won’t probe anymore. Just make sure to treat your bruises well, ara?” she gave us an assuring look that showed us that she understands

“Aigoo, now you’re beautiful faces are ruined” Taeyeon explains as she examined our faces. “I thought we were going to celebrate mine and Kyuhyun’s win but you ruined it” she said as she pinched our cheeks. “Ow!” Hae and I both whimpered when Taeyeon held our faces

“well, that’s what you will get when decide to make your fists speak rather than your mouth. Tssss” Taeyeon lectured both of us “Donghae oppa, you know how big Siwon is you shouldn’t have gone against him… Kyuhyun ah, how could you just stand there and not stop them?” Taeyeon lectured both of them

“Taeng, we understand better that way” Kyuhyun tried to reason out

“tsss, whatever oppa. Anyways, you should just accompany Donghae oppa home and explain this to auntie and uncle.” Kyuhyun just nods at Taeyeon’s instructions. “and you Won ah” Taeyeon then faced me. Her eyes were filled with compassion

“let’s go to your room and get you treated” she grabbed me by the hand and led me to my room leaving Kyuhyun and Donghae standing.

We both sat on the edge of my bed. She already got the first aid kit. “Tsss, it’s been long since I last did this to you… I remembered the first time I treated your wound was when we were 7” she giggled as she recalled. “even though we’ve grown you still do things without thinking it through, now look at what happened to your face” she lectured

“does your arm hurt?” I asked worried that she must be hurting really bad. Today is just like what had happened when we were young. She’s hurt yet she prioritizes me above herself.
