“Siwon ah, what are we doing here?” Hae asked. “ssshhh, keep your volume low Hae or else they will notice us” I hissed. Hae just rolled his eyes on me. “there’s no need to worry hyung” Kyuhyun remarked as he laid his back comfortably to tree behind him. As usual, Kyuhyun is always the laid back one in our group.

“what do you mean?” I asked averting my eyes to look at him for a few seconds and then back to where I was previously looking. “she definitely will not accept that love confession” Kyuhyun answered as he pulled out his phone

“yah, I’m not jealous. I am just here to make sure that this is not a trap for another bullying scheme of our fan girls” I denied. “I never said that you were jealous hyung” Kyuhyun fires back at me.

What?! Why in the world did I just say that?! Aish, this is all Donghae’s freaking fault. I glared at Donghae who was trying to hold his laughter.

“Aish, whatever”

Kyuhyun and Hae just shrugged. The three of us are currently hiding behind the bushes in our school grounds. A few feet away from us is Taeyeon and Kwon Jiyong who are sitting on a bench. Apparently, this has been the third time that a boy called out Taeyeon, and I am not even aware of it. Where was I when the two others confessed to her?

“what makes you think that Taeyeon will not accept this confession?” I asked out of curiosity. Where they also there when the two others confessed to Taeyeon? “I just know” Kyuhyun answers nonchalantly. “yeah, I agree Kyuhyunie… Taeyeon will just say ‘let’s be friends’” Donghae adds while he mimicked Taeyeon.

“Taeyeon ssi” Jiyong starts off

My ears twitched at the sound of Taeyeon’s name

“Jiyong ah, mianhe. I think I know what you intend to tell me, but, I can’t accept your feelings. Instead, I suggest that let’s be friends” Taeyeon cuts him off

“see, I told you” Donghae whispered

“I already know that will be your answer” Jiyong responded as he scratched the back of his neck. “but even so, I still wanted to tell you Taeyeon ssi that I really like you” Jiyong added while holding Taeyeon’s hand.

He dares to hold her hand?!

“Thank you Jiyong” Taeyeon said as she withdraw her hand

‘Good job Taeyeon!’ I rejoiced at the back of my head

“mianhe” Jiyong apologized

“it’s okay, it should be me who will apologize” Taeyeon said showing her beautiful smile

‘yah, yah! Why are you smiling sweetly at him?!’

“friends?” Taeyeon offered

“yeah, sure…” Jiyong smiled back

“good then!”

“but, Taeyeon… can I just ask you something?” Jiyong asked

“as long as I can answer it, sure”

“is there someone that you like or is just that you want to concentrate on your studies first?”

Oh god! This man is shameless! Doesn’t he know that Taeyeon wants to concentrated on her studies first?! She doesn’t have time to like someone!

“I have someone that I like” Taeyeon answered

What?! But, who?!

“wait, that’s an understatement…. I love him” Taeyeon added

What the ?! She’s in love?! I faced Donghae and Kyuhyun. They both just gave me the ‘i-told-you-so’ look and shrugged.

“can I ask who it is?” Jiyong asked once more

This time I really am curious. I scoot nearer to hear it clearly

“mianhe, I don’t want anyone to know yet” she apologized looking down at her feet. “ah, you don’t need to apologize Taeyeon ssi. I should be apologizing, it’s too shameless of me to ask that” Jiyong said

“Siwon ah, are you happy now? Told yah she wouldn’t accept it… so let’s go back to class now” Hae nudged me and I just followed

“hey, do you know who she likes? I really didn’t think she’s at that age already” I asked the two of them who were walking with me back to the classroom

“hyung, you sound like a protective father” Kyuhyun commented while shrugging. “or an over protective boyfriend” Hae teased  and they high-fived. “why are you always insisting on such thing Hae? I really don’t have such feelings for her. She’s just a friend” I denied

“hyung, it’s either you really don’t or you are just too dense to know how you really feel” Kyuhyun said while tapping my shoulder before entering the room

“yeah, and about who she likes… I know who he is, but I’m not telling you… Ask her yourself” Kyuhyun added before totally entering the classroom

Wait! He knows?!

“ah, maknae is really hot-tempered. So stop getting on his nerves by being dense Siwon ah” Hae did the same with Kyuhyun

What the heck is wrong with these people?!

Taeyeon’s POV

“how many guys have you rejected already?”

“three?” I answered unsurely

“Park Junsu, Jang Wooyoung and now Kwon Jiyong. Now you’ve really got many friends”

I didn’t comment. It’s true I’ve been placing a few guys in the friend zone. I can’t deny the fact too that, that is all I could offer them. My heart already occupied by someone that I hold dear.

“aren’t you really going to tell him Taengoo?”

I shook my head

“ah, the two of you are really the best pair”

I shot him a questioning look

“what do you mean Kyuhyun ah?” I asked

“you’re tight-lipped while him on the other hand is dense, your love will really progress. I can see your bright future ahead of you” he said while clapping slowly

“oppa” I whined

“what? I’m just saying the truth”

“I’m not tight-lipped, just conservative” I retorted
