“I can’t believe it! He thought I was a girl dressed in man clothes,” I let out a frustrated sigh, sipping my fave caramel latte. Ha Na stared at me, not saying anything. “You know Jae, that’s the… I don’t know, fifth man this week?” Are you really my best friend, Ha Na? I pouted. “What am I gonna do, Ha Na? I’m nearing my thirties and I can’t get laid.”

“Oh will you shut up? You will find your man soon so sip up your latte and let us go shopping.” She splattered, taking her phone out, “Easy for you to say, you have Changmin while I! I am single.” I whined loudly but I don’t care if people started looking at me, I mean I just experienced a very disappointing blind date.

 “Jaejoongie-ah...” she started with a sweet voice, haish she is looking at me with sympathetic eyes, “Just wait... time will come and you will meet your other half,” Ha Na extended her arm and entangled her fingers with mine. “When will he come?” No answer came from . I sound desperate right?

“Soon... just trust me... maybe your prince charming is a clumsy bastard that is stuck on a tree,” that made me laugh. “Or maybe he’s being chased by a dog.” Okay maybe my soulmate is a clumsy dum dum? Not funny anymore.

“Now enough drama Kim Jaejoong, let’s go shopping?” I sigh, fixing myself as I noticed a guy from across the room looking at me, I smiled at him.

“Yah!” I glared at this so called best friend.

“What if I don’t find him?” I asked now ignoring that guy from another table.

“Become a priest?”

“Yah!” I stood up and threw a curled up napkin at my of a friend. Aaaand we chased each other outside the café.

I huffed, glaring at Ha Na “Let’s shop you said...” oh I know she hears me alright. Why am I glaring? Well Shim Changmin suddenly appeared out of nowhere and now I feel completely out of place. “Jaejoongie-ah, how about this?” she held up a bag with studs, “I don’t know ask your boyfriend...” Changmin chuckled while Ha Na pouted, “Hyung... I’m sorry for tagging along, I didn’t kno-”

“Yeah yeah, I know you miss your ‘wifey’.” The couple blushed at the comment, “Haish, you two...” I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, “You know what, I will let you two alone, and I’ll just go,”

“Jaejoong oppa, are you mad?” Ha Na called out, holding onto my hands. I smiled; I know it’s supposed to be our ‘bff’ time but because of Changmin’s unexpected return from Japan, I know she misses him a lot. “I’m not... just... have fun you two okay? I’ll just call you if I’m home or need you,” Ha Na pulled me into a hug; gosh this girl is strong... “I will make it up to you, Joongie.” I chuckled. “Brat.”

As we said our goodbyes and went on opposite ways, I looked around deciding what to do inside a mall, alone. Haish, alone. No lover to be with… ugh I think I’m creating my own misery here. I need some fresh air; yes I need some fresh air. I got hold of my phone and oh, Heechul texted.

I swear that Heechul is laughing out loud right now. “Haish, I’ve been in twenty three blind dates and...” how many times have I pouted?

“Taxi!” a cab stopped in front of me and I got in.

I really sound like a desperate damsel in distress. I glance down a my hand, they say in the Red String of Fate, the two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. I caressed my pinkie.  Where the are you my soulmate?

At that moment a strong gush of wind blew, autumn is definitely here. Leaves fell from the trees and on me. I giggled, some may not appreciate falling leaves because they think it’s dirty but it’s actually not bad at all. I then felt something on my head, oh a cute flower~ I looked up and-

“Huh?” There’s a man, up on a tree.
