Yuki’s POV
I scouted most of the station in search of the Superintendent. I searched his office, my office, the IT department. I think the only place I haven't looked yet is the office next to the IT department. Many people do work in that department so I have to look out for a midget in a suit..... I think that'll be harder than I expected because he is shorter than most guys but I'm as tall as a freaking street pole... Maybe half or a quarter of it. Anyway I rush over there to find my good friend and sempai Takahashi Kai.... My goodness, he's older than me by 4 months and a week yet I loom over him like he's a giant xD He was with a hooded woman talking about something so I walked over to investigate~

“Takahashi-sempai,” I said, “May I have a word with you quickly.”
“What might the problem be Yuki,” Kai said in an interesting (Screw that) a fail voice., “Oh and there’s a new colleague joining us here soon, her name’s Watanabe Mayu, since Jun’s moving to the medical department with his girlfriend Rena. Medicine is his strong point. Anyway more about Mayu, her IQ is 180 and she is a prodigy in IT so she will be very capable on the computer.”
“That’s just what I was going to ask,” I answered. Watanabe Mayu huh? Interesting~ I thought make sure I wasn’t talking to myself.
“Mayu,” Kai bellowed from across the hall, “Meet Kashiwagi Yuki, one of our senior detectives and will be your partner in the next assignment he has.”
“Nice to meet you Mayu,” I politely said. She removed her hood to reveal silky black hair.
“Nice to meet you too Kashiwagi-sempai,” Mayu replied energetically, “Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!”
“Yoroshiku!” Was all I happened to say to her. Kai you douchebag why didn’t you say that to me but to her! Kai seemed enthusiastic but he noticed the dark aura around me. As I glared at him with a dark, spooky glance, he smiled at Mayu and said:
“Don’t worry about him. He’s notorious for being ‘black’ hearted. Just make sure you don’t get him angry. Okay I’ll be going now you guys get along.” He rushed off and we were left alone like one of those romance scenes in a film where they get stranded and they need to kiss. This feels awkward.

“So, how old are you anyway,” I asked her.
“19,” she replied back awkwardly, “You?”
“22,” I replied to her question.
“Isn’t that a bit too young to be a senior detective?”
