Her headache was getting worse. It had been days since the strong headache attacked her. She took Paracetamol to reduce the pain, but it never getting better. Min Woo noticed that something wrong was happening to his sister. His sister had locked herself in her room all day long as if she was hiding from them. Min Ah who was alone in her room groaned few times, struggling to fight the pain. The feel as if all your veins were being pulled, even Min Ah couldn’t hold it. She slid down from her bed, crawling towards her drawers where all her medicines placed. She pulled out one of the drawers and with her eyes tightly closed; Min Ah took her medicine inside the drawer. She swallowed almost ten tablets of her medicine and due to overdose, the medicine stuck in . She could barely breathe. Her chest went up and down; her face turned red. She strained out her arms, trying to reach a glass of water on her desk. Instead of holding the glass, she pulled the glass off her desk and the glass ended falling on the floor.  The glass had broken into pieces. Min Woo ran to Min Ah’s room, his bad feeling urged him to get his sister.

                “Noona? What happened? Are you okay?” Min Woo was knocking at the door.

Min Ah punched her chest vigorously to spill out the tablets of medicine she swallowed just now. Her effort seemed worthless as the medicine didn’t even move an inch from .

                “Noona?!” Min Woo was half-shouting. “Open the door!”

He then dialed up Min Ah’s phone number, hoping she would answer his call. As he punched the green button, a familiar caller ringtone was ringing in Min Ah’s room. But, no one seemed to care to answer the call. Min Woo could barely hear someone was struggling to breathe. These caused him to twist the doorknob though Min Ah had reminded him not to enter her room without permission. As the unlocked door opened, Min Woo became anxious of what his eyes had seen. Min Ah was lying on the floor with her pale face, soaked with sweat and her eyes were as red as vampire’s eyes. And, what made Min Woo most anxious was, Min Ah froze though her eyes were widely opened.

                “Noona!” Min Woo grabbed Min Ah’s body. “Are you okay?” He shook for the second time. “Answer me!” Min Woo put his index finger under Min Ah’s nostrils. NO BREATHING!

He shivered in frighten. He was too anxious to decide anything. At the same time his phone vibrated. Chen’s name appeared on the screen.

                “Chen! You have to help me.” Min Woo started crying though he knew he shouldn’t.

                “Are you okay? What happen? Where are you?” Chen was still in his calm voice.

                “Noo-Noona, she’s not breathing.” Min Woo quavered. Chen stuttered at the word ‘not breathing’. He didn’t even put any doubt on what Min Woo said because he knew Min Woo so well. Min Woo is not the kind who will joke around about his sister.

                “First, call the ambulance. Inform them about Min Ah’s situation.”

                “Next, make sure she’s lying in a comfortable position to breathe.” Chen instructed. As a medical student he had learned all the steps to do when facing a patient that has stopped breathing. He also knew that he had to stay calm or Min Woo would grow more anxious.

Min Woo did as commanded; he grabbed his phone and gave a call for an ambulance. He then pulled Min Ah’s legs so that they were straight. “Done.”

                “Open . Look into , find anything that might have blocked .” Chen continued. Min Woo was getting calmer. He pulled Min Ah’s jaw to open . He looked into . It was a shock for him to find near ten tablets stuck in Min Ah’s throat.

                “Chen! There are few tablets stuck in .” Min Woo screamed.

                “Min Woo, I need you to pull out the tablets out of by using your index finger. Are you brave enough to save your sister?” Min Woo stayed silent. Chen didn’t give up on persuading Min Woo.

                “She only has you to save her right now. Her life is in your hand Min Woo. I know you can do it. I know you can save her because you love her more than anything.” The latter then kissed Min Ah’s cheek. Slowly he inserted his index finger into Min Ah’s throat. He pulled out as many tablets as he could to save his one and only sister.

                “Chen, there are three tablets left in . I can’t reach it; the tablets are too deep inside.” The news that Chen wished Min Woo wouldn’t tell him.

                “It’s okay, but there is a hole in right?” Chen wanted to be sure.

                “I can barely see the hole.” Min Woo was worried.

                “Do the CPR like I taught you before. Do you remember?” Chen closed his eyes. He waited for Min Woo’s answer nervously. He was afraid if Min Woo might forget the CPR steps since they had left school for almost two years.

                “Yes. Of course, I remember.” Min Woo was confident. He started pressing Min Ah’s chest with both his palms. He bent down to hear Min Ah’s breathing. Nothing! But, he didn’t stop pressing her chest. Again, he checked her breathing. Knowing that Min Ah was still not breathing, he blew out some air into Min Ah’s mouth, few times. He continued pressing. He was positive his sister would breathe again. HUFFFF~~~

Min Ah’s chest moved up and down. She choked out the remaining tablets in . Min Ah gave out heavy coughs.

                “Noona!” Min Woo pulled Min Ah into his arms. Warm tears were falling on his cheeks.

Min Ah didn’t answer but slightly smiled at Min Woo. She felt blessed when she’s finally breathing again.

                “Min Woo? How is it? How’s your Min Ah?” Chen was calling from the phone. He became excited when Min Woo called his sister name. Min Woo laid Min Ah on the floor gently before he grabbed his phone.

                “Thank you, Chen. I don’t know how to pay you back. Thank you so much.” Smile appeared on his lips. He was very thankful.
