Find Them

Dark Lake Academy

A/N: sorry for being late. My internet was being……a thing (nicest way I could put it) and wouldn’t work over the weekend. After some (many) phone calls and waiting, it’s been fixed and it’s fine now, so here’s the chapter.

“Where could they be?” Jaesun muttered before turning to Sehun, “you getting any information from your people?”

“No,” the necro sighed, “Lay and Hyuna are looking, but they’re doing more look out work for us.”

“And we need it,” D.O scowled, “there are so many bad guys around here.”

“Something must have happened,” Tao spoke up, “they all seem to be looking for something.”

“Or someone,” Jaesun hissed, “more likely it’s the second. Sori wasn’t exactly quiet.”

“Don’t forget all that crashing and whatnot before,” Sooyoung argued, “that is probably a bigger deal to them. They might even think that Sori’s scream was, like, her death cry.”

“Don’t say death,” Tao was quick to jump on her.

“Yeah,” D.O nodded sadly, “that word……”

“Right,” she nodded, mind quickly calling up the sight of Leo and Hongbin when she’s last seen them. They’d looked so broken, their clothing covered in Hyuk’s blood. Hongbin had been sobbing so hard. And Leo……

He just sat there, looking at his bloody hands. There was a look in his eyes that scared the young spell caster. She found herself worried about just what Leo was going to end up doing, either to himself or others.

“The next hall is clear,” Sehun told Jaesun, relaying the information he’d been given by Lay and Hyuna “but not for long. We’re going to have to hurry for the door at the end of the hall.”

“Is that a safe place to hide?” Jaesun asked, already moving. If Lay and Hyuna said they didn’t have long, he wasn’t going to lose a second yakking away.

“For a few minutes,” Sehun nodded, “it’s a stairwell. We can use it to go to the next floor down. Hyuna thinks that’s our best bet right now. She says that the floor above is swimming in bad guys. We’ve got no chance up there. Not as we are.”

“Alright,” Jaesun nodded, “let’s hope that Sori and Xiumin ended up below us.”

--

“I don’t like this,” N scowled, “it feels wrong.”

“You can’t go out there,” Luhan told him, “it’s too dangerous.”

“I know,” N sighed, “and I don’t like it. But this…..this feels different. Staying here feels…….wrong.”

“What do you mean?” Lina asked.

“I don’t know,” he sighed, “I just have this feeling in my gut that we should move. Maybe find another hiding place? Maybe go farther in?”

“But then the others might not be able to find us,” Taeyeon pointed out, “and if they need us……”

“We’ll stay here,” Luhan decided, “just for now. But N, if your gut feeling gets any stronger…..tell me and we’ll move.”

“Alright,” N nodded after a moment, but he wasn’t happy about it. He wanted to move right away.

His gut said staying where they were was a very bad move.

--

“Wait,” Sooyoung gasped, visions of blood floating through her mind.

“What?” Jaesun scowled, “what’s wrong now?”

“I………….it,” Sooyoung struggled for words, visions of death and crying threatening to pull her completely under for the full sight.

“Sooyoung?” Sehun asked the young girl, “Are you alright?”

“I think she might be having a vision,” Tao said, “I’ve seen that look before when she’s had one.”

“Let the vision take you,” Jaesun said, “let it see what it wants you to see.”

Sooyoung nodded, closing her eyes and letting the vision take her away.

She quickly came to regret this as she saw what was going to happen.

“We need to get to the others,” she said as soon as she could form words again, “N and the others are in danger.”

“Lay,” Sehun turned to the ghosts, “Hyuna. One of you tell N. Get him and the others to get out of there.”

I hope we’re in time,” Lay whispered before turning to Hyuna, “go.”

“Let’s go,” Jaesun said, “Sehun, tell us if Lay or Hyuna see anything. We can’t afford to sit and wait, we’ll need to fight.”

“Right,” the others nodded as they got ready for the fight that was probably waiting for them.

A/N: *sits back and waits for the people being pissed at me for this* I don’t expect more people leaving comments then when Ravi “died”, but I do expect more then when it was revealed he was alive.

Chapter 134: ...damn. It's finally over, isn't it? Well, it's not really over, considering there's going to be a sequel and the cliffhanger, but..
Well anyway, it's been a wonderful journey reading this story. So much has happened and I can't really believe this story is now finished, haha.

Chapter 134: Looks like the beans have been spilled about the sequel, lol. Exciting cliffhanger. I hope everyone will be ok. What happened to Leo? Who is that mysterious man? Can Dark Lake recover from the serious loss? Don’t miss the sequel, coming soon to Asian Fanfics.
