The rich, thick scent of incense wafted through the air, filling the room with a smell of spice. The deep brass of a gong sounded rhythmically in the background, a parallel to Tao’s beating heart. Purple silk was thickly draped from the top of the bed frame, leaving Tao and Sehun encased in a space that overflowed with beautifully embroidered pillows and sheets of silk and Egyptian cotton.

The air was buzzing with tension, compressing the smoke of the incense and creating undefined hands that brushed against Tao’s skin. He shivered as it left trails of warmth that almost burned. He could feel the warmth sink below his skin into something

It created an unreachable agony that overflowed and disguised itself as pleasure

The dense flow of Lust wrapped itself around Sehun’s chest and neck. It was warm and overpowering; it was shocking and demanding and made Sehun itch for something unknown to him. It tightened and coiled, stretching forward and pulling Sehun towards Tao. Sehun couldn’t remember any before,

           before Tao

            the way silk and smoke ran like water against his dark, beautiful skin

            the way that skin pulled taught under rolling muscle

            the way a thousand crystals seemed to live and thrive in the darkness of his eyes

he wanted to be

Lost

And never

Found

As long as it meant he could stay there forever

The more his passion grew the more Lust became alive. It stretched and coiled around Tao’s neck, then split into hundreds of strands that crawled their way down Tao and Sehun’s bodies. It pulsed and wove into itself until they could not tell where one of them began and the other ended.

There was no before

Both as one existence
