Sometimes people never understood our relationship. We would give off the impression that we were a couple, but we were only being ourselves. Holding hands, hugging, kissing each other's cheek - this was normal for us, but others viewed it differently. Sometimes people would see us laughing and screaming with each other at the beach as we tried to push each other into the sea. Sometimes people would catch us leaning against each other as we gazed into the starry night sky. There was even a time when we had fallen asleep on the hood of his car with his jacket draped over my shoulder, and the entire public was staring at us like we were insane.

Sure, we do crazy things together and pretty much stick to each other like glue, but it's what we are. Best Friends. We know everything about each other and always know how to make the other feel better. I cherish our relationship very much, and I'm happy enough as it is. I don't know what I'd do or where I'd be without him, but there comes a time where everyone has to learn right?

Because that one day when he spoke those words to me, reality hit me hard. I just didn't know if it was for better or for worse.
