Wedding Dress.

Kiss Kiss Kiss

1 YEAR LATER

"Wow. That is beautiful. It suits you perfectly." Hee Young said, standing a few feet away shaking her head in awe. "You have to wear that one."

I looked into the mirror at myself. The long, white dress flowed to my feet. I spun around, admiring it. "It's so pretty..." I said. I couldn’t believe that this day had come already. Every girl dreams about picking out her wedding dress, and I was doing it now. I smiled, thinking of Taemin. Everything was so perfect. I admired myself, still amazed at how much of a transformation a simple dress could have.

"You're right...this is the one." I said.

Hee Young clapped her hands. "Ah, I'm so jealous of you..." she said, shaking her head in approval.

*Ring* *Ring*
I winked at her, then noticing the ring asked, "Can you hand my phone to me?" She did so, and, seeing it was Taemin, I answered. "Taemin-ah! I found a dress." I said. I wished he could be here with me, but he was busy with a fansign today, sadly.

"Ah, that’s great baby. Hey. Listen, are you busy?"

"I was just finishing up, It really is the the perfect one Taemin!"

"That's great, really." Taemin said, less enthusiasm in his voice than I had wanted. I pursed my lips and listened. "My schedule is done, and I really...um...I need to talk to you, I have something important to discuss." His voice was serious, not the usual happy, hyper voice he had.

My face fell, and I nervously replied, "S-sure."

Taemin gave me a meeting spot and hung up. I lowered the phone, thinking about this. What could Taemin have to say right now? Could it be....I bit my lip at the realization that it could be he was getting cold feet and wanted to call this off. I shook the idea out of my brain, convincing myself it wasn't so, but I was still worried.

"Hey sweetie." Taemin said, giving me a tight squeeze. He motioned for me to sit on the bench, and I did.

"What's this about?" I asked, trying not to sound as nervous as I was. This was it. He was going to tell me he was in love with someone else. That he didn't want me anymore. He was going to, being the sweet person he is, try to break it to me slowly but it was coming. He wasn't happy with me. I wasn’t enough. There was no way he could live with himself if he stayed with me. My heartbeat went faster and faster, and I held my breath as he took a deep sigh.

He smiled weakly at me, putting his hands on my shoulders. "Is this...what you truly want?" he asked, leaning his head to the side. He looked hurt.

"What?" I asked, surprised by the question. This was not what I expected. I allowed myself to relax, knowing that my worst fears weren't true, but what had brought him to this delusional conclusion?

"Well...I was talking to Minho...and he asked me...” he imitated Minho, “'are you sure she didn't just rush into this because of all the people watching when you asked?' ...he was just being a caring hyung...but I was thinking about it....I was being really selfish to do that...I didn't think of how much pressure would be on you...." he grabbed my hands. "If this isn't something you want...please...don't do it. I don't want you to feel like you have to. I want you to be happy."

I smiled sadly. "Taemin-ah." I said. I put my hands on his face, and in his hair. "This IS what I want. I'm happy. Okay?" I looked into his eyes, trying to make him know this was true.

"Are you sure?" Taemin asked, his cute face raising his eyebrows.

I laughed slightly, nodding. "Yes Taemin." I said.

He sighed happily, leaning in to steal a kiss. As his lips touched mine innocently, I felt my heart flutter, like the first time he had kissed me. He let go, and I gave him a hug. "You're the best." I whispered.

Minho watched as the girl he loved walked carefully down the aisle in the most beautiful white wedding dress he had ever seen, to marry his best friend. He sighed, mesmerized by her beauty, and secretly envying his friend. The look on her face, however, kept him from saying a word to either of them. She was too happy with Taemin, there was no way that Minho could interfere with that. He watched her face, her beautiful smile ....  He sat by, pretending to be happy for them, secretly wishing it were him at the end of the aisle waiting for her. He had tried to get the courage to tell her how he felt but the happiness she had was too much for him to disrupt.

Because she was really, so happy.

I sat in the back, in the waiting room, nervously breathing in and out. This was my wedding day. I couldn't believe it. Every girl dreams of marrying someone someday, and here I was, marrying the most amazing person in the entire world. Outside, there were hundreds of fans, many angry, who were chanting and rioting. I bit my lip, knowing how many young girls I was hurting by marrying their idol.

"Wow...you look amazing."

I looked up, laying eyes on the husband-to-be. I got up, flattening out my dress. I smiled. "You think so?" I said, spinning around in the dress.

Taemin leaned against the door, staring at me. The way he was smiling, I could tell how extremely happy he was. "Unf." he said jokingly.

I glared at him playfully and said, "You look nice yourself." I breathed in deeply, because, it was true, he looked amazing. His suit was so expensive, and his new hair, a reddish color, had taken long to get perfect. Now, he looked simply amazing. I could not keep my eyes off him. We stood there, staring at each other, smiling so big, when Minho walked in.

"Taemin-ah! What are you doing, you know it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding!" Minho teased. I laughed, blushing.

Taemin nodded. "You're right. I need to go get ready anyways." he quickly ran over to me, pecking my cheek, and then left. I watched him go sadly, but the thought that very soon I would be classified as his wife made my heart skip a beat.

Minhostuffed his hands in his suit pockets. He looked at me, gulping.

I smiled. "You look nice." I said. Minho nodded, sitting down on the chair in this small room.

I sat next to him, and he stared at me, smiling slightly. "You look really great. Taemin's a lucky man." he said. I smiled. It was nice having so many brother-like friends because of Taemin. I was so thankful to have them.

"You too." I said. He laughed, looking down.

"Listen, I'm only doing this...as...Taemin's best friend...but, are you sure you really love him?" Minho asked. "I'm sorry, I know this is unforgivable but I needed to ask."

Surprised, I said, "Of course! You know better than anyone how much we love eachother, Minho." I said. Minho was obviously worried about his friend. It was sweet of him to be so protective of him. "Don't worry. I would never do anything to hurt Taemin." Minho nodded in approval, and I said, "He's so lucky to have a hyung like you. Always caring Minho." I reached over and gave him a hug.

He sighed, not saying anything for a minute. Then, he sighed again, standing. "I'm happy for you." he said.

"Thank you. That means alot."

Again, he sighed, waving and leaving. I watched him go curiously. What was he so sad about? I shrugged it off.

Soon, in came a security guard, the one whose job was to tell me when to begin walking. Hee Young rushed in too, to help me make final adjustments on my apparel.

"You look fabulous." she said. "Everything about today is so perfect."

I smiled. "It's all thanks to you. I couldn't have done it without you." It was true. Hee Young planned the entire wedding. She made sure it was in the perfect location, that everything went according to budget and plans...it was all perfect thanks to her.

"It's the least I could do. You're my best friend."

The security guard suddenly tapped his microphone, from which all instructions were coming from, and then gasped. "Ya, why isn't this thing working?"

Taemin waited at the end of the aisle, watching the end. Why wasn't she coming? The musicians played their music over and over, but the bride was nowhere to be seen. He gulped, fearing she had run away, giving up on him. Was Minho right? Or did she decide that this WASN'T what she wanted? He swallowed, sweat building on his forehead. The audience watched, restless, whispering to eachother. Taemin adjusted his tie, and Onew, the best man, leaned over and whispered, 'Is everything okay? You look nervous.'

Taemin nodded. "I'm fine." But it was true, he was nervous.

Finally, a beautiful girl in a white dress appeared at the end of the aisle, smiling hugely. She was holding the freshest pink roses in her hand, and her hair tied up into the most extravagent updo he had seen in his life. He gasped, breathless. How did he get so lucky? His bride walked down the aisle elegantly, staring at only him. He stared back, forgetting that anyone else was here. In this moment, all he wanted to do was run to her and grab her and kiss her, but she was so mesmerizing that he couldn't move.

She approached him, and the veil in front of her face was lifted, revealing the beautiful face of his bride.

Minho squeezed the handkerchief in his hand, trying to keep in all the feelings. He watched as the bride and groom stared into each other’s eyes. How he would give to be the one standing there with her right now. He sighed, telling himself repeatedly that this is what she wanted, this is what was right, that they were perfect for each other.

He considered objecting to this marriage, and confessing as he had meant to earlier, but he couldn't bring himself to do such a thing to Taemin, or to her.

The preacher began talking, but I had already tuned everything out. The only thing that mattered to me in this moment was the beautiful man standing in front of me. I had never seen him look at me like this. Like there was no one else on the planet, like he was searching for something in my eyes, like I was the only reason he was living...his eyes sparkled like this. I mouthed, "I love you." and he smiled, blinking slowly and mouthing it back.

I smiled, and repeated the words the preacher said to without fail.

Taemin did the same, and placed the ring on my finger. I smiled, trying not to cry, as I slid his own ring on his finger.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Taemin, without any hesitation, stepped closer to me and held my hands, kissing my lips. Out of every kiss I had ever shared with him, this one felt the most pure, the most happy, innocent. His mouth against mine, it all felt natural and beautiful. The crowd, in awe, clapped, and I let go of Taemin, but he pulled me in for another kiss. I felt his smile through the kiss, and I couldn't help but smile too.

"The bride and groom are going to take their first steps as a married couple." The man said. Taemin grabbed my hand and I felt tears streaming now.

He turned to me, and I noticed the same tears present in his eyes. "I love you...so much." he said. I leaned in and kissed his cheek, and we stepped down, onto the aisle. Flowers went flying in the air, landing in our hair and all over us. A car was waiting outside, where hundreds of reporters and fans were waiting to take pictures and cheer us on, and hopefully not try to murder me. I stepped out of the doors of the building, feeling the happiest I had since....ever.

I looked to Taemin,  he was smiling too, and he glanced back at me, giving me the most loving look any human being could give another.

Minho sat in the audience. A custodian was cleaning up, and he asked, "The wedding is over, aren't you leaving?"

Minho sighed, rising. It was useless to sit here and wish for it all to happen again, only with him. He stuffed his hands in his pocket, exiting the empty building. He looked around outside, taking a deep breath. It was time to get over her. He shouldn't want someone else's wife. He was going to do everything he could to get over this girl. Maybe a drink would help...

He stepped forward, then noticed something on the ground. He looked closer, it was a person?

There was a girl, laying on the pavement, asleep, curled up into a ball, holding a sign that said "I STILL LOVE YOU TAEMIN". She looked about his age, a little old to be still obsessing, he thought.

Minho laughed. "Tch." Crazy fangirls. "I can sympathize with you." he said. "Ya." He bent down and shook her, trying to wake her. "Ya, wake up, its all over. They're married. YA!"

The girl's eyes fluttered open and she rubbed them, stretching. She opened her eyes wide upon seeing Minho. "M-Minho oppa!" she said, standing up quickly and looking around. "OH MY GOD it’s really you…omo~”

“Calm down…are you okay??” Minho asked.

I-I was just..is the wedding over? I was waiting for the bride and groom to come out- did I fall asleep?"

Minho laughed. "It's over." he sighed, sitting on the steps. He breathed out.

The girl bit her lip. "M-Minho Oppa. What's wrong?"

Minho lowered his head. Knowing it was totally crazy to tell a random fan everything, he couldn’t help himself. "You love Taemin, huh?" She nodded. "Well the girl...the one he married...I'm in love with her."

"You are?" she asked, raising her eyebrows. She blinked many times. He nodded, sighing. She sat next to him. "I guess we're in the same boat then." she said, resting her head in her hands, which rested on her knees.

Minho nodded again. "Looks like it." He looked at her, she was pouting cutely. He shook his head. “It .”

The girl nodded. “Well, yeah. But then I think, Taemin is happy. And if I really love him, shouldn’t I be happy that he’s happy?” She sighed, smiling. “If that girl makes his heart pound when she smiles, and when they kiss he gets butterflies, and if she’s all he thinks about at night…then I should be happy that he gets to feel like that. Right?”

Minho laughed a little, saying, "That’s true. I guess we should just be happy for them then, huh?” The girl nodded again. They sat in silence for a moment, until Minho continued, “So you know my name, what's yours?"

The girl looked up at him. "I'm...Jihyun." she said. "Baek Jihyun." she pursed her lips cutely. Minho smiled at her.

"It's very nice to meet you Baek Jihyun." he said, holding out a hand.

Jihyun smiled happily, taking his hand and giving it a good shake. “It’s nice to meet you too, Choi Minho oppa.” Her eyes smiled as she did, and Minho couldn’t help but notice that she was pretty cute. He smiled back at her, deciding this would be a nice friendship.

A/N ill bet you didn't expect that with minho, huh?
