It would be a lie to say Minseok wasn't terrified right now. In fact, she was so nervous she was ready to rip her hair out from the anxiety eating at her insides. Minseok never skipped soccer practice her entire life. She's been playing since she learned to walk. Attending soccer practice was just part of her daily routine. She never thought anything else of it.

Minseok closed her locker after throwing her books onto the shelf, only to let out a yelp when she saw Baekhyun standing beside her. "Are you ready to go?"

"R-Ready? Y-Yeah, I mean, yeah, sure." Minseok nodded, gulping. What happens if she skips soccer practice? Would she get in trouble? Would she get kicked off the team? Baekhyun began to walk off, motioning for Minseok to follow. The elder was hesitant to follow. 

"W-Wait, Baekhyun," Minseok squeaked. The popular girl turned, giving a questioning look to the latter. 

"What?"

"I don't know if I can skip soccer practice," Minseok mumbled. "I-I've never skipped practice and--"

"They're not gonna care, Minseok," Baekhyun rolled her eyes, "if you've never missed a practice, then this should be fine. Now stop worrying and let's go." The elder simply pouted and followed her out the school. 

"When you go in, don't say anything." Baekhyun ordered in a low hiss. "Don't say anything to my mom, don't say anything to my brothers, not even to my dog." Minseok simply nodded before trailing after Baekhyun into the house. 

Baekhyun entered her house without sparing a glance at the rest of her family that occupied the other rooms. She headed straight for the stairs without greeting them.

"Baekhyun!" a woman's voice called from the kitchen. Baekhyun grunted, urging Minseok to walk a little faster, but curiosity got the better of Minseok. "Baekhyun, where are you going, not greeting me like this?" Baekhyun frowned as her mother pulled her into a hug and gave her a big kiss. 

"Mom, you're messing up my makeup." Baekhyun shivered as she struggled out of her mother's grasp. 

"Who is your friend, Baekkie?" 

"This is Minseok." Baekhyun rolled her eyes. "Can we go now? We have things to do."

"Of course, of course! Go right ahead." her mother ushered Minseok towards the stairs. "Nice meeting you, Minseok. If you need anything, just let me know sweetie!" 

"Thank you Ms. Byun!" Minseok beamed as Baekhyun dragged the elder up the flight of stairs. 

"Oh, and Baek?"

"Yes Mom?"

"Can you bring these up to Taehyung's room? Him and Jongie are playing video games." 

Baekhyun rolled her eyes as she stomped down the stairs to retrieve the plate of food from her mother. Once she was back up, she knocked on a door by the staircase, not bothering to wait for someone to answer. 

"Take your food you little ," Minseok heard Baekhyun hiss, along with a thud of the plate on the ground. 

"Oh, hi noona!"

"Hey Baek!" 

"Whatever." Baekhyun rolled her eyes for the nth time as she stepped out of the room towards Minseok again. She lead Minseok down the hall towards her room.

"Okay! So ar
