At first he was just another stranger. Second, he became a familiar stranger. Next he became an annoying, yet harmless stalker. Then he became an unwelcome, but nice acquaintance. Later on he somehow became somewhat of a friend. Soon enough he became someone that I could finally let my once broken heart open up to again. Sadly, in the process my heart was shattered into pieces once more because of him.

The first invisible love scar to my heart was made by a guy I thought I loved and who had loved me. The second one was made by him whom I thought could take care of it with more tenderness. I guess the wounds will never fade and that the heart will never really learn. Sure the pain lessens, but the feelings of bonding are never forgotten. No matter how much time goes by, the feelings stay. No matter how much you teach yourself to let it go time and time again, the heart has hopes of moving on from it again and again.

So that's what I did the first time. I eventually let it go and tried to move on. As for the second time around I guarded myself, but he was persistent. Although in the process, it seemed to have repeated itself once more. Unfortunately, we are humans and we do make mistakes constantly. All that we have is time and depend on it. But sometimes it is never enough when the brain and mind works so hard to keep everything in control. But the heart has hope. It always has hope. The heart will always do what it wants to do despite what the brain is constantly reminding it about the consequences of its actions.

And all that it wants to do is... is to love freely time and time again.
