A week has gone by. Hyuna and Junhyung had spent a lot of time studying. It did help Hyuna in Math. Well, just a little bit. They had used Junhyung's room as their study place this time. Hyuna was already halfway walking back to her dorm room from Junhyung's room since they just finished their study session. Hyuna then remembered that she forgot her phone, so she quickly turned around and went back toward Junhyung's room.   She heard voices from Junhyung's room just as she was reaching. She could swear she hear someone cry. As she reached Junhyung's room, the room was slightly open so she just peeked. She saw Gayoon hugging Junhyung tightly and he had his arms around her body. She was surprised and she quickly hid herself behind the wall.    She never knew they were actually very close. Gayoon had never mentioned that before. Were they actually in a relationship?   "I can't do it, Junhyung-ah..." Hyuna heard Gayoon cry. She could hear her sob hard.   "Shh.. It's okay." Junhyung said. "I'm sorry. I'm really sorry..."   Hyuna could imagine Junhyung patting Gayoon gently, telling her that it was okay. He even apologized. She wondered if they were having a couple fight and Junhyung was the first to apologize. But again, she never saw this warm side of Junhyung before. He always seemed reserved and cold, like a block of ice. Was he only nice to Gayoon?   Gayoon's cries got louder. Hyuna could imagine Gayoon burrying herself in Junhyung's arms. She didn't know why but she felt a pang in her chest, as if she just got stabbed right in her chest. She didn't understand why she somehow had this jealous feeling.   "It's okay. I'm here. I'll always be here. You have me, Gayoon-ah!" Hyuna heard Junhyung say warmly and carefully.   Hyuna was imagining how they were going to kiss next. Junhyung would slowly reached for her lips and planted... She didn't think she could take it anymore, so Hyuna quickly left. She didn't care about her phone that was left in Junhyung's room anymore. All she knew was that she had to leave.   *   The next day, Hyuna was at her locker putting her books inside when Jihyun came towards her running.   "H-Hyuna! Did you hear?" Jihyun, who barely caught her breath, asked.   Hyuna turned at her uninterestedly, "What's up?"   Jihyun looked as if she just saw some ghost or something.   "There's a fight going on at the gym." Jihyun explained shortly. "Everyone's running there to see what's going on."   "F-Fight?" It wasn't like Hyuna cared at all about the fight.    "Yeah. Let's go!"   "We're going to watch a fight?" Hyuna asked surprisingly.   Jihyun nodded eagerly. "It's not just some fight. It's Myungsoo and Junhyung fighting. Of course we have to watch!"   That totally caught Hyuna's interest. Junhyung and Myungsoo?    Hyuna followed behind Jihyun who was running towards the gym. She was now more interested than ever. When they got there, it seemed like they were a second too late. The only thing Hyuna saw was Junhyung walked away from the scene and Myungsoo walked away the opposite direction from Junhyung. It seemed like the fight just ended. Hyuna could see their faces bruised from the fight. It must be a bad fight.   Then she remembered the day where she was supposed to go out with Myungsoo, but she completely forgot about it. Junhyung and Myungsoo almost broke into a fight as well. Hyuna wondered if they had been enemies all these times. They seemed to get into fights a lot.   "W-What's going on?" Jihyun asked one of the students there.   The student shrugged, "I don't know exactly. I heard something happened to Gayoon and Myungsoo is somehow involved. That's why Junhyung was furious."   Jihyun was surprised, "Junhyung was furious? I never knew they were close."   "It's okay. I'm here. I'll always be here. You have me, Gayoon-ah!" Hyuna heard Junhyung say warmly and carefully.   Hyuna felt sad for some reason. She didn't know either. She just found out yesterday.   "Did you hear that, Hyuna?" Jihyun asked her. Jihyun was a nerdy type of girl, but she talked quite a lot too the more Hyuna knew her. She was always updated about stuffs.   *   Hyuna was a little bit worried about Gayoon. She was wondering if Gayoon was alright since she hadn't seen her for a while now. She missed classes for two days and she remembered there was a fight for her two day ago. Gayoon was a good friend although Hyuna felt a bit betrayed since she never knew about Gayoon and Junhyung's relationship before. But still, Gayoon was always caring towards her.   She had no clue where her feet were taking her until she stopped in front of Gayoon's dorm room.    What am I doing here? Hyuna thought to herself.    She thought it wouldn't hurt to check on Gayoon since she hadn't seen her for a while. She was about to open her room when she heard people talking from inside Gayoon's room. The door wasn't completely locked so she could hear them.   "Do you still think it's Myungsoo's doing?" A guy asked. Hyuna believed it was Doojoon's voice.   There was a long pause before Hyuna heard Junhyung say, "Honestly I don't know. The only thing I'm sure of is that he's not on our side."   "True. But I still couldn't believe Myungsoo would do this to Gayoon, our Gayoon..." Doojoon said again, his voice breaking. He sounded sad, very sad. "After all we've been through, I can't believe Myungsoo is this despicable."   Hyuna's curiousity was killing her. Just what happened to Gayoon exactly? Why did they make it sound like it was very bad? Did something bad happen to her? What exactly did Myungsoo do to her?   Hyuna heard Junhyung sigh deeply.   "She'll be alright." Junhyung said confidently. "I'm going to nexus tonight."   "Nexus?" Doojoon asked, terrified. "Jun! That place is..."   "I know." Junhyung said calmly. "I need to find out how to get her cured."   "I'll go with you!" Doojoon suggested. "It's better if the two of us go."   "No!" Junhyung rejected instantly. "Gayoon needs you here more than anyone. Will you please watch over Gayoon for me?"   Hyuna felt his voice was caring and she felt a bit jealousy in her heart somehow.   "Jun, I will always watch over her, you know that, right? If only she would..." Hyuna could feel Doojoon's sad voice.   *   Hyuna was back in her room. She had a change of plan. She no longer was going to visit Gayoon, with those two boys still there, although she was still wondering if Gayoon was fine. What were the boys talking about? She couldn't imagine if something bad happened to Gayoon. She was the nicest prettiest girl she had ever met. Hyuna remembered how Gayoon stood up for her from Hara.   Hyuna was doing her homework to distract her mind from her curiousity. It wasn't helping at all. Her math problem was just a kill. She quickly took her phone and made a call to Junhyung to help her with homework.   "Hello?" Junhyung picked up at the third ring.   "Hey! I was wondering if you could help me with some math problems. I'm kinda stuck with some problems." Hyuna said, straight-forward.   There was a short pause, "I'm sorry. I don't have time right now."   "But this is driving me crazy. I couldn't even do anything."    "Listen! I really don't have time right now. I have somewhere to go like right now. I'll help you with it tomorrow."   Before Hyuna could argue, he already hung up the phone. She could feel the urgency in his tone. Then she remembered! Junhyung had to go somewhere, he had told Doojoon.   Hyuna wanted to find out where he was going, so she opened her laptop and quickly type in nexus on the search engine. If he couldn't come then she could bring her problems to him, couldn't she? Or maybe it was just an excuse to find out what was really happening to Gayoon and everyone, especially Junhyung. Junhyung was too mysterious and it was killing her inside and out.   Nexus. She found out what it was. It was a pool hall a couple miles from their school. Not too far.   It was done.
