Hyuna was walking back to her dorm when she noticed Junhyung from afar. Her eyes had been trained to notice him even when she didn't want to.
They hadn't talked since that day at the Blue Devil.
His eyes caught hers when he got closer to her then he looked away and he just kept walking past by her. Hyuna felt a pang in her heart. He had been ignoring her since that day. He had ignored her whenever she tried talking to him.
Hyuna stopped in her tracks as Junhyung just walked past her. She could smell his scent, the scent that she loved the most. She missed him.
Hyuna turned around and called him, "J-J-Jun!"
But he kept walking. She went after him, "Hey! Junhyung!"
She tapped his shoulder from behind and he instantly turned around.
"What do you want from me?" His eyes were hurt. He felt betrayed by his own girlfriend whom he thought he knew everything about her, the girlfriend whom he always tried to protect, but in the end she didn't look like she needed any protection more. She already knew how to protect herself.
"I..." Hyuna paused for a moment. "I'm sorry if I did something wrong."
"You're sorry?" Junhyung said coldly. "You kept a lot of things from me. You and your friends destroyed our hideout, Hyuna."
I didn't do that. Neither did my friends. Hyuna wanted to say, but she didn't.
"I didn't mean to..." Hyuna tried to explain, but she didn't know where to start. She didn't even know she was a nephilim to begin with, but would Junhyung believe her?
"Just leave me alone, Hyuna. I need some time alone." He said sternly. "Good bye!"
Hyuna watched as he left. She looked at his back sadly. She really didn't know how to fix this.
A girl stood behind Hyuna with a mocking smile on her face, "He got bored of you, I see?"
Hyuna turned to see Hara, her biggest enemy. At least, that's what she thought.
"I'm not in the mood, Hara. Can you please mock me some other time?"
Hara crossed her arms. "What makes you think he would want to be with you anyway? Stop daydreaming, fool!"
Hyuna just kept quiet.
"Do you think you'll last here?" Hara said arrogantly. "And it looks like your BFF isn't here to defend you. Did that arrogant girl ditch you too? Ha-ha. You poor thing! You don't have anyone. You're just yourself now. Everyone hates you!"
Tears were b in Hyuna's eyes. Hara was right. Gayoon hated her now, Junhyung too. She had noone.
"That's enough, Hara. I've heard you already." Hyuna talked back to her. "You could leave now. You're probably late for your gossip 101 class."
"You dare talking back to me?!" Hara said, annoyed. She went to Hyuna and grabbed her hair. "Don't think that I'm scared of you, stupid!"
"Let me go!" Hyuna said.
"You wish! I'm going to teach you a lesson!"
Hara pulled Hyuna's hair harder and dragged her about 10 feet long until someone bumped into Hara accidentally and spilled his cola on her. She immediately released her grip on Hyuna.
"Oops. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!" The guy apologized.
"Why..." Hara sounded angry. "You... Can't you see where you're walking?"
"I'm sorry, I could pay for your laundry if you want!" The guy said, shrugging his shoulders.
"URGH!" Hara frowned and glared at Hyuna, "Consider yourself lucky this time!"
With that, Hara left the scene with annoyed mood.
The guy who bumped into Hyuna looked at her worriedly, "Are you okay?"
Hyuna looked at him and nodded. "Y-yeah."
"I saw what she did to you and I didn't know how I could help you so I thought of such way." He explained shortly.
"Oh, so you spilled your cola on her in purpose?" Hyuna chuckled. "Good one!"
The guy laughed. "I'm Hyunseung by the way. I'm kinda new here."
"I'm Hyuna."
"Well, I'd like to ask you to show me around more, but I really have to go. Hope to see you around soon. It was nice meeting you." Hyunseung said and left in a hurry before Hyuna could say anything.
Not long after, someone tapped Hyuna's back. Hyuna immediately turned around.
The guy smiled. "Hello there! What's with the long face?"
"Nothing, Myungsoo." Hyuna sighed.
"Is there anything that I can do to bring back the smile?" Myungsoo grinned at Hyuna.
"There's nothing you can do." Hyuna answered.
"Boy problem, I see?" Myungsoo said. "Ah. I wish I could take you to Blue Devil, but..."
"You heard already?" Hyuna asked.
Myungsoo nodded. "It's too sad."
"Did you know that it was the fallen angels' hideout?"
"Of course I did." Myungsoo answered.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Yah! How could I tell you that day? You didn't even know what we were!" Myungsoo defended himself.
"Fine!" Hyuna walked away.
"Hey... are you mad, angel?" Myungsoo asked her, catching up with her and walking by her side.
"Nope. I'm just tired. I want to sleep."
"No, you don't!" Myungsoo said.
Hyuna hated it tha
