We have never ever written kid-fic before or any piece of writing that featured small children in anyway. So when we got stuck on chapter three (or possibly six) of our other TVXQ fic (the montrosity we keep mentioning. seriously, the damn thing is taking over our life, we swear) somehow writing TVXQ in preschool seemed like a good idea. Kind of....a thing that would be challenging but also different enough that we when we got stuck we it would help get us out of our own head for a bit.

And then....and then.....and then something possibly resembling plot happened. So here you go:

Character(s)/Pairing(s): Yunho, Jaejoong, Junsu, Yoochun (probably Changmin later); Yunho/Jaejoong but they're five so it's basically just adorable best friend stuff

Summary: Losing friends is hard. But sometimes it's okay because making new friends is fun.

a few other things we feel we ought to note: 

1) some of the other characters in here are from the SM world, but we pretty much know nothing about them so our characterizations of them may be wildly different from how they actually are. absolutely no disrespect to them is intended. there are also some characters who are original characters. they are unlikely to feature in any prominent way but they did need names.

2) ages in this fic are, at least for the moment, though if it gets too confusion for people it may change, calculated in the Korean style: a child is considered one year old when born, so if you want to know how old they would be in western terms just subtract one. that being said, we cannot promise that characters will always act or talk their age. we are trying to make things as accurate as possible, but though we remember being five, it is really hard to remember the vocabulary of being five.

3) this fic is pretty much to be continued/updated at totally random intervals. we are seriously just writing this for fun. we make absolute no promises about update schedules or even to complete it. like we said: only possibly resembling plot. it may just end up being a series of baby!TVXQ drabbles.

EDT: so we haven't touched this in a while and it's technically still a work in progress but we promise it stops at a logical place and not a cliffhanger -- a mini-arc end if you will. we promise we won't ever just leave a story in an emotionally turbulent bit without warning potential readers at least ^^
