Maybe After All

Description

Jongdae finds himself unable to act normally around Yixing, and tries to figure out why. Before he can come up with a explanation however, Luhan somehow finds it for him. Not knowing what to do, Luhan helps Jongdae try and at least overcome the awkwardness.


"His mind keeps turning in circles, never getting past the why. Why can't he act normally around Yixing anymore?"

""I have been feeling ... uncomfortable around Yixing-hyung lately," he confesses. Luhan's brows raise in surprise, but he doesn't say anything."

Seems like I'm writing an actual story in god-knows-how-long, instead of just drabbles. Interesting *.*

Chapter 1: I love everything about this already. Chen being awkward around Lay because he likes him, Luhan helping out Chen and Lay being oblivious. I can't wait til you update.

Chapter 1: I love Luhan as a wise person. He is generally described as childish and younger or a complete generally, so it's nice to see him like this. Jongdae's obliviousness could have been annoying but this is really cute.

Chapter 1: Finally, a Chenlay fic that's not an AU! I really enjoyed this so so much. Jongdae's confusion was so endearing. The way he froze up when the MC asked him about Lay and how his mind provided him with confusing emotions/memories, gah! Jongdae's honest talk with Luhan was wonderful and refreshing to read. Luhan's questioning was funny but sensible lol. And: "There is never anything wrong with liking another person. Never." I cheered! Jongdae's response to Luhan's observation/revelation -- the way he kept repeating "I like girls" and then later his embarrassment -- was so realistic. And the way he cutely fell asleep in Luhan's arms, as if suddenly drained after the weight of his heavy and confusing emotins was lifted....:') I really can't wait for the next part. Luhan was all too happy and pleased when he told Yixing that he has something to look forward to. Makes me wonder what's going on in Yixing's head (or heart!) during all of this...! ps. The small bit in the van with sleeping Baekhyun and concerned Junmyeon was a really nice touch as well :')

Chapter 1: I was smiling the whole time. Chen is so cute and Luhan being the hyung he is is so awesome. It's a good read and I would like to read more of Chenlay's story with supportive ninja Luhan!!!

Chapter 1: I totally like this already. Jongdae is so cute and naiv and doesn`t know what`s happening to him and only realising he`s in love with Yixing when Luhan spells it out for him. X3 That`s so cute. I can`t wait for more. Maybe even in Yixings point of view, that would be interesting.
