Ri Young doesn’t know how long it’s been since they’ve gotten away from her cautious eyes. She doesn't know how they managed to sneak out with her not sensing the obvious lack of their presence. She doesn’t know, but she wants them out where she can see them. She needs them out. She needs to see both where they’re safe and sound, even with their guns poised to shoot and pointing in between the other’s eyes. Ri Young can feel the pounding of blood in her ears as she dodges and maneuvers and makes her way through the crowd of fallen corpses.

She avoids every single one of them, doesn’t even bother to look as she knows the sight of her fallen comrades – both from the police department and the ones she has met by working in the darker side of life – will only bring her to tears, will only break her if she catches even a glimpse of a familiar face. She can’t take that.

And so she looks forward. She runs as fast as she can even when the deep wound from her left leg is slowing her down considerably.

She hears a distant bang; a fire of a gunshot.

And the only thing she hears after wards is the sound of her heart beating and her head screaming.

“Run, Ri Young, run.”

Han Ri Young | Jung Jin Rae – Justice might actually be her middle name. Well, it most certainly isn’t very far off. Ri Young is an eccentric girl who survives mostly with her optimistic personality and lucky chances. After earning the name ‘Lady Luck’ in the enforcement, Ri Young has been quite full of herself [as if she wasn’t already] to the point people openly call her quite the stuck up brat. But really, though, she has a kind heart underneath that big ego.

Aiden Lee – His real name is Lee Donghae but doesn’t seem to like being called that way. He lives by the motto that the ends justify the means; his means are quite doubtful though, as is his supposed ‘end’. Committing an uncountable number of dubious acts, he’s earned a name for himself in both the streets and the officials. Surprisingly, Aiden always manages to escape the penitentiary and walks away the interrogation room with a smug, lopsided smile on his face.

Lee Hyukjae – a sunbae police officer whose clumsy tendencies prevent him from any sorts of promotions he so rightly deserves. Eunhyuk, as he likes to be called, is a warm hearted police officer who follows his instincts and heart rather than the law. He tries to stay out of mainstream everything and likes to be one of a kind. Eunhyuk has been Ri Young’s best friend ever since she interned in the Seoul station of the Korean National Police Agency [KNPA]. He seems to harbor a crush on her and a lot of their fellow police agents often tease the two of them because of it.

A/N: I am such a masochist. I’m already buried to the brim with other important things such as schoolwork and two other fanfics that need to be completed and yet, here I am. I will die a slow, painful yet possibly entertaining death if I continue this, oh yes I will. But I do so hope you enjoy these little stories I put up for stress relief purposes ;)
