I almost end up loosing her

 

 

Friday morning in one of the prestige school in Seoul, there’s a group of girls sitting on their usual spot. One is smiling because she won over her friend. They bet on whether the famous couple in their university will break up in just a month. If someone loses the loser will have to accept a dare and cannot say no to it…..

 

“Hey Yoongie…you lose our bet” the short haired girl speaks

 

[Yoona the doe-eyed girl and shikshin number 2 is one of the four member group in which everyone adored. She’s smart and has the most number of admirers. It is evident on the daily love letters she’s receiving on her locker room. She eats a lot too]

 

“I know…I didn’t forget it” She puts her bag on her chair and pulls it near

 

“Since you loose you have to comply with my dare” she said while twirling Yoona’s hair

 

“Don’t worry I will keep my promise Sunny” the doe-eyed girl calmly replied

 

[Sunny the danshin. The most talkative and hyper of the four and she can be serious at times but you’ll always see her doing cute gestures. She’s one of the top performing students aside her friends]

 

“What dare will you give her Sunny?” someone -in. She just woke up because she arrived too early at school

 

“Let me think of it Sooyoung” She paused tapping her forehead with her pointing finger

 

[Sooyoung the shikshin, aside her long legs and pretty face that girls envy and guys admire, she’s known for being caring and gets along well with the crowd. Of course she’s smart too]

 

Snaps her finger “I know it!” the danshin wickedly said

 

Yoona and Sooyoung turn to her anticipating while the other member of the group; Tiffany keeps wondering and doesn’t have any idea on what her friends are talking about because she just came in.

 

[Tiffany the eyesmile princess, one smile from her will make your heart melt. She’s kind hearted and doesn’t like bullying. Her lovelife…..NBSB?]

 

“What are you three talking about?” she raised her brows as she entered the room and sat with her friends on their usual spot near the window.

 

“Nothing Tiffany but Yoona lose to our deal that’s why she is oblige to do the dare”

 

“Sunny just tell what it is!” Sooyoung cannot wait in anticipation on what her danshin friend what kind of dare she will give to the doe-eyed girl.

 

Tiffany keeps silent

 

Give a wicked smile towards Yoona “Make Taeyeon fall in love with you”

 

All of them turn their heads to Taeyeon who is reading a pocket book at the corner. Taeyeon is there classmate. She’s quiet and quite anti-social

 

“NO! Not her” Tiffany blurted in disbelief

 

The three girls raised their brow to her

 

 “What’s wrong with that?” Sunny asked and secretly winked to Sooyoung who is smiling sheepishly

 

“Ahmm…Because she’s so innocent” grinding her teeth

 

“Maybe Tiffany likes her” Shikshin blurted

 

“I’m not, but it’s not really a good idea to play with someone’s heart” Tiffany said stealing glances on Taeyeon.

 

Sunny makes an annoying face “and since when do you become concern for anyone?”

Tiffany keeps quiet and unable to speak. She doesn’t like the dare.

 

“So Yoona, will you accept the deal?” the danshin pops the question  

 

She turns to look at the eyesmile princess then to the the silent student “Well she looks cute too…why not!” She accepts the deal

 

Clapping her hands along with Sooyoung “Alright..This will be fun” Sunny chuckles while Tiffany sulks in disappointment.

 

The teacher arrives

 

 

After the first subjects he group decided to have a walk and take their lunch maybe.

 

At the hall way Sunny, Sooyoug , Yoona and Tiffany are walking and chatting until they see Taeyeon sitting on the bench while holding on to the pocket book she is reading.

 

“Yoong, there’s Taeyeon” Sooyoung points Taeyeon

 

Giggles “Yoona go to her now” Sunny puches Yoona” encouraging her to go to the girl

 

Applying resistance to her body “No need to push me..I’ll go there” fix her clothes and walk to Taeyeon

 

Sooyoung and Sunny make a high five and Tiffany keeps on whining to herself. Taeyeon noticed Yoona approaching towards her but pretend not no see her

 

“Hello” Yoona greeted

 

She closes her pocket book and look to Yoona “Hi….Do you need something?”

 

“Ah are you free later?...will you go with me and hang out with my friends”

 

She gives Yoona a smile showing her dimples “I’m free, why not.”

 

“Really…oh that’s a good news….I’ll wait for you later Ok.” She shakes her hands on the cute girl

 

Taeyeon give an awkward smile trying to remove Yoona’s hands on her

 

“I gotta go” Said Taeyeon, stands up and bid goodbye to the girl

 

            Taeyeon walks out and notices Tiffany looking at her so she winks to her. The eyesmiling girl just smirks in return. Taeyeon turns her head and walk away. Yoona return to her friends wearing a smile while Tiffany pretends to smile even if deep inside she’s so irritated

            At the elbow room spot (where Yoona and her friends hang out other than their room), the girls are waiting for Taeyeon to arrive while doing their own thing. Sooyoung is busy with her PSP and of course her snacks, Sunny is occupied with the mic and the reserved song she store on the karaoke, Yoona is with her make-up kit, and Tiffany is quiet on the corner.

 

Knock knock

 

“Oh maybe she’s here” Yoona keep the make-up under the glass table

 

Sunny runs to open the door “Hi Taeyeon! You come”

 

“Yes I am.” Smiles and waves to Yoona

 

“Hey I thought you’re not gonna come” she holds Taeyeon’s hand and offer her a sit in between Yoona and Tiffany

 

“oh you’re place is good”

 

“Of course!” Sooyoung replies then get back to her food and place her psp aside

 

“Hi Tiffany…You’re quiet” Taeyeon asked

 

She fakes a smile “I’m bored can I go out first” she stands up

 

“We haven’t started yet… and you’re leaving now” Sooyoung tries to stop the leaving girl

 

“Are you afraid of something?” Sunny added

 

“Fine..I’ll stay” unwillingly agrees folds her arms and sits

 

            The five gets occupied with their stuffs after having a great sing a long. They decided to rest while Yoona is getting intimate with Taeyeon, at first she just holds her hand. She rests her head to her shoulder and hugged her from the side and the other girl just allows her.

 

“Taeyeon” the doe-eyed girl wraps her arms on Taeyeon’s neck. The other’s got surprise on what Yoona did but get back to their stuffs but for the girl sitting beside them …she’s reaching her limit

 

“ahhh Yoona” she’s getting uncomfortable on what Yoona is doing to her “You’re too close”

 

“What’s wrong” she rest her chin to her shoulder looking to Tiffany who gave her a furious gaze

 

“I’m sorry but I’m not comfortable” she whispers to Yoona’s ear and tries to remove the girl

 

            Sooyoung and Sunny saw Taeyeon whisper something to Yoona’s ear but for Tiffany’s perspective,. it looks like she kissed the girl on the cheek although she can’t see it clearly coz she just sees it from her side. Yoona’s hair doesn’t help also because it is somewhat covering her face. She gets the wrong idea, so she tries to cough to inform the two that there are still people around the two of you

 

“What do you think of me… a statue?” she thought herself holding her temper.

 

The other girls’ eyes widened. Yoona then cups her face and kiss her lips. They are surprise on sudden action of the doe-eyed girl which made the eyesmiling girl erupts from her sit.

 

“So disgusting” She blurted in jealousy, she stands up from her sit and slams the door out leaving the girls stunned while Yoona is still kissing Taeyeon

 

“Yoong” she pushes the girl’s body away from her and falls on the floor

 

“Ouchh…that hurts”

 

“What you did is too much….this is not what we planned” stands up from her sit annoyingly. She leaves and run after Tiffany her girlfriend.

 

Yes girlfriend, they have been secretly dating for two years but Taeyeon wanted to let the people know that she’s dating Tiffany because she hates those guys hitting on her.

 

Yoona is sitting on the floor deep in her thoughts thinking about what she did.

 

“Hey are you alright” Shikshin snaps her fingers to get her attention

 

“Yoong!!!!” danshin try to call her again

 

She regain her consciousness “what did I do???’” she panics a

 

“Calm down” her friend kneels down and comforts her by rubbing her back

 

Standing beside Sooyoung, Sunny smirks “Yoong what’s running on your mind when you kiss her?...what you did is too much you know,,, Taeng got shock on what you did….and Fany is surely angry and jealous…we all know that she loves that danshin so much even if she always deny it.” She sighs

 

Sooyoung elbows Sunny on the legs “as if you’re not a danshin” the shikshin replies and sunny looks back at her with “what the hell look”

 

“I told you before not to agree with Taeng’s plan”

 

“Sunny stop nagging her…it happened already, we need to tell Fany what’s the truth” Sooyoung’s voice cracks. She’s more worried of what may happen on their friendship

 

“We don’t have a choice you know…although our plan smoothly went well. We still need to tell her” she assists Yoona to sit on the sofa

 

 “I know you like Taeyeon too Yoong” Sunny gives Yoona a look then turn away when Yoona looks back

 

Taeyeon seeks for Tiffany and found the girl crying on the road hugging her knees crying. She then approaches her.

 

“Mushroom…”

 

“Stay away from me….. Stay with Yoong” she commanded

 

“I’m sorry” She bends her back to touch her hands but was slap away by the girl

 

“That hurts” she whines and pouts

 

She stands up and looks to Taeyeon with her swollen eyes “You know that I love you but you choose to flirt with her…what’s your reason for doing that? To make me jealous?”

 

“Yes I did …I asked your friends to make you jealous” She raises her voice

 

She slaps her face “Is that how you do it…being all touchy and even asked her to kiss you right in front of me?”

 

She caress her cheeks “all is planned but the kiss isn’t”

 

She smirks “so you are basically saying that Yoona intends to kiss you?”

 

“Yes she did……I don’t know why she did that”

 

“So irrational!” she turns her back

 

“Fany…..Did you ever got jealous?” she asked holding her hands and tears finally run down

 

“Yes I’m jealous, what do you think of me a robot? Taeng you’re one of those girls that people admire. You’re mysterious aura makes everyone wants to be your friend and date you. You just don’t know it” she takes a deep breath

 

“I’m jealous are you happy now?” she keeps on hitting and pushing her away

 

“Let’s take a break” she surprises her with that statement

She felt weak “are you are tired of me?.....” she started crying

 

“I’m getting tired too,,, tired of waiting and keeping our relationship to everyone because you are afraid of what other will think of us…even if it’s hard for me to do it, even if I want to tell everyone that Hwang Tiffany is mine and no will ever break us apart. I still try my best and follow what you want” Tiffany look back to look at her sad face

 

“Do you still love me?”

 

Taeyeon closes her eyes and Tiffany wipes her tears with her thumb. “Don’t cry any….”

 

Taeyeon hold her hands and open her eyes as she stares at her.

 

“I’ll asked you once again…..Do you still love me?”

 

She keeps quiet and just looks to her

 

“I guess that’s the answer…..Maybe you are right…maybe it is way better if we stop this now” Taeyeon said

 

            After the incident, the Sooyoung, Yoona, Sunny and Tiffany already reconcile over the weekend. Yoona admitted that she also likes Taeyeon and regret kissing her and apologized to Tiffany and promise not to do it again same as Sooyoung and Sunny who also apologized to her for agreeing to the plan. Tiffany accepted their apologies and give them another chance. The only problem she thinks of now is how to get her girl back.

 

“Ahhhhhhh….” She’s stomping her feet “girls I miss Jiyeon so much!!”

 

“Better talk to her” Yoona replied

 

“I tried this morning but she avoided me” she pouts and scratch her head

 

“You look cute….why don’t you try to show to the people that you love her” shinkshin suggested

 

“She has a point…..since all she wanted is you to declare to everyone that you love her” danshin said

 

“Huh??? How will I do that?”

 

The three chuckles seeing her reaction

 

“Why not make a tarpaulin and hang it on the entrance so she will see it” Sunny suggested

 

“But I know you don’t have the courage to tell everyone that you love her.” sighing

 

 “Yah…give her flower or wait for her every morning” shikshin propose “but you don’t like being the center of attraction and you are too shy” suddenly take it back like sunny

 

 “Or why not follow her where ever she go?” Yoona added “but you are impatient”

 

“That’s impossible” she whines while all girls sighing and hopeless “Don’t you have any other suggestion?”

 

            The next day, Tiffany follows Sunny’s suggestion. She made her full effort to prepare the tarpaulin. She asked help from her friends and wait until Taeyeon comes while Sunny, Sooyoung and Yoona are on the veranda holding the rope. As she saw her girl, she signals her friends to let the tarpaulin down with a message “Kim Taeyeon I love you” on it. Taeyeon saw the tarpaulin and notices everyone is smiling to her. But she continued walking and ignores the effort

 

Tiffany is sighing “She doesn’t like it” she said while trying to cover her face

 

“That’s fine… don’t worry I’m sure she’s happy that you already said to aveyone that you love her” Sooyoung tries to comfort her

 

“I guess she doesn’t like it”

 

Sunny hits her head “Be positive Pabo…You are just starting”

 

The next day, since Sunny’s suggestion doesn’t work, she goes after Sooyoung’s suggestion. She waited for Taeyeon at the school ground in the middle of the main pavement holding a flower. The students are arriving but she still can’t see any signs of her. She’s getting all shy as students look at her and murmur every where….

 

“Hwang Miyoung…have self confidence….show her that you are sincere” she suddenly remember what Eunjung advice her. “Hwang Miyoung aka eyesmile princess you can do this…Just ignore them and wait for your Taeng” she remembers.

 

As she looks around she saw Taeyeon reading her pocket book walking towards her. Tiffany gives the flowers to her and wears a big smile but Taeyeon just continue walking ignoring her.

 

She keeps on repeating on waiting every morning at the school ground holding flowers.

 

Until one morning

 

As Taeyeon passes by  “Kim Taeyeon are you still going to ignore me?” she asked

 

She turns to look at her “Did I ask you to do that?” she replied seriously

 

Tiffany trembles and felt sad with her cold shoulders. She loses her grip to the flower “This is shameful for me” she whispers to herself.  

 

Taeyeon walks closer to the stunned Tiffany. She picks up the flower on the floor “I appreciate your efforts” she said, turns her back and keep on walking while holding the flower.

 

She smiles a bit “She appreciate my efforts…..Oh she appreciates me?” She jumps in happiness and finally her eyesmile shows off.

 

            Tiffany had a great day yesterday even if Taeyeon is avoiding her she felt flattered when she heard her she appreciate her efforts.

 

“You’re so happy yesterday but now your sulking again?” yoona commented

 

“Yes I’m still happy but I still do not get her back”

 

“Why don’t you try Yoona’s suggestion?” shikshin said

 

“Do you think I can?”

 

“Tssss…Fany-ah you just don’t notice it..You just face all your fears this past few weeks just to have her” trying to let the naïve girl think of it.

 

“But sticking to her everywhere she go? Maybe she will get irritated”

 

“Well let’s see”

 

The next day

 

-----at the library,.

 

“Can I sit here?” she puts her book on the table and sit in front of Taeyeon, open her book but pretend to read.

 

Taeyeon slams her book at the table that shock Tiffany

 

“Are you going to stare on me all the time?”

 

She looks around the surroundings “Why not, I can stare all you all day because you’re beautiful?” she smiles and cringe on her own words

 

Taeyeon sighs and walks out.

 

“Oh…where are you going?” she follows behind her

 

-----at the music class

 

Tiffany takes the girls earphones before she can get it.

 

“Hey what are you doing?” Taeyeon asked

 

“Let me put this on your ears” being all sweet

 

“You don’t have to….” She refuses

 

“It’s ok…..I want to do it just like before” she pinches her cheeks as she used to and flashes her trademark eyesmile.

 

A pink tinge appears on her cheeks. She’s blushing. Tiffany notices it and giggles on her reaction

 

“What are you giggling at?” Taeyeon tries to put up a straight face to hide her embarrassment because everyone know she’s ignoring Tiffany Hwang and always put up a straight face but this time her body betrays her.

 

“You’re still the same” Tiffany simply says

 

“What’s the commotion up there?” the professor notices Ms. Hwang and Ms. Kim are not paying attention

 

“Sorry Mr.” Taeyeon apologizes

 

“The two of you go out…you know my policy…If I caught you not paying attention the doors are wide open”

 

Tiffany disagrees… “Sir. I’ll go out but let Ms. Kim stay here”

 

“Sir we will go out now” Taeyeon shuts her bargain and just give respect and walk out of the class

 

“Excuse us sir…we are sorry”

 

-----at the corridor outside the music room

 

“Taetae…I’m sorry…You were sent out because of me”

 

Taeyeon keeps on walking and ignores Tiffany’s apologies. She takes her phone out of her pocket and message an unregistered number “Done?” after few second it was sent. She continue walking but avoids the main road of the school and passed on narrow short cuts familiar to her until she felt her phone vibrates and read the reply by an anonymous person “Just wait further” she reads.

 

Tiffany still follows from behind. Taeyeon suddenly stops and turns to face her, it cause her to get shock

 

“Why do you keep on following?” she asks

 

“Why do you suddenly stop?” she answers with another question

 

“Can’t I??....Why are you following me?” she answer her question and pops anther question

 

“I want to talk to you”

 

“I don’t want” she answers immediately

 

She holds Taeyeon’s hands right away “Please give me just a moment”

 

“Just for 10 minutes”

 

“Thank you.  That’s enough for me…..I want you back…please…I miss you a lot…”

 

“That’s all?.....The last time we talk…..I give you a chance to have me but what did you do…you just keep quiet and did not say anything”

 

“I was overwhelmed that time… I don’t know what to say…please give me another chance”

 

“What if I do not?”

 

“YAhhh…it’s also your fault that’s why I said that” she whines

 

“Do you still love me?” she moves closer anticipating Taeyeon’s answer.

 

“uhh…” Taeng’sphone vibrates “Wait…My phone vibrates”

 

Tiffany snatches the phone in irritation . she doesn’t like interuptions “Answer me first before you read this”

 

“Give it to me…” she tries to snatch her phone back

 

“I’ll read it for you”

 

“NOOOOO!”

 

“Are you hiding something?.....Do you have another?” Tiffany asks immediately after seeing how the other girl reacts

 

“No I’m not…just give it to me…that’s important”

 

“More important than me?” Taeyeon tries to snatch it but failed and Tiffany finally read the message “It’s done!!!”  the message says. She’s wondering then let her snatch the phone

                                                                                                                               

Taeyeon starts to walk again. She felt relieved because Tiffany did not think of anything wrong about the reply. Luckily she deleted the previous messages of that number. This time she did not take the narrow paths instead she takes the stairs going up rather that an elevator while her ex-girlfriend still follows behind

 

“Who is that unregistered number?” her curiosity kicks in

 

“None of your business!!!” she answered back hoping that she’ll stop asking

 

“I will not stop on following you if you will not tell me who it is” she keeps on nagging her

 

“Then just follow me” she keeps walking upstairs while her excitement is rising

 

“yahhhha are you  cheating on me?”

 

“Why will I….” she does not face Tiffany and takes big steps while smiling on her own

 

The eyesmile princess stops following her

 

“Why did you stop?” she stays on her position for a moment looking down on the girl following her

 

“Are you really like that?.....Isn’t all my effort enough to make you come back to me?”

 

“Are you giving up?... if your intentions are true then you will be able to withstand it” she continue walking until she almost reach the roof top

 

Tiffany hesitates to follow.. She admits she want to give up now but the fact that she had gone all through everything and the effort she made makes her push thru. She takes big steps until she reach the roof top and see Tayeon almost standing near the gutter of the school building.

 

“Jiyeon..don’t do that!” Tiffany yells

 

“What are you talking about?” she takes one step backwards from the edge upon looking down the school ground.

 

She’s crying while walking towards Taeyeon “Don’t scare me”

She smiles “Sorry!...” She then hug Tiffany

 

“Your phone is vibrating”

 

“It’s not mine…..I think it’s yours” Taeyeon replied

 

She doubts because she don’t think of anyone that will message her “Mine?”

 

She dangles her phone in front of  the eyesmiling princess’ eyes “Not vibrating”

 

“Oh…..” She believes her finally. She takes her phone on her pocket and read the message on her phone

 

            From Sunny:

                        Miss Hwang Miyoung, look down from the roof top J J

                        Hope you like it!!!

 

Tiffany feels a bit of irritation upon reading her Korean name. She doesn’t like it. Anyway she goes back to the message.

 

“Weird” she frowns

 

“What is that?” she asks

 

“Sunny wants me to look down but….” She can’t coz she’s afraid

 

“But you are afraid of heights!!?...come” she seems to read what she’s thinking. She lends her hand to her.

 

“Do you know about this?” she looks suspicious

 

“You’ll see…Don’t be afraid”

 

            Tiffany hesitates at first, but seeing Taeyeon wearing a warm smile, waiting for her. It gives her courage to overcome her fear and finally give her hands to her to look down from the rooftop.

 

“Taetae never let go of me” she holds her hand tight.

           

            She takes her steps slowly near the edge of the school building while the love of her life holds her hand and stay slightly behind her letting her see the full view of the school ground. Seeing the ground with many students formed a big shaped red heart with white message among the red surface saying “I still love Hwang Miyoung” in the middle. She started to make her cry.

 

Taeyeon moves closer and backs hug Tiffany. She rests her chin on her shoulder

 

“I’m glad you did not let go of me” she said while still looking at the ground with her eyes still blurry because of her tears.

 

She pushed Taeyeon away and gives her a glare

 

“You don’t like it?” she’s smiling while asking. She knows she likes it. She hates surprises but she can pull off a big one just for her love

 

“Yaahhhh … I hate you!” she breaks away from the hug and carefully moves away from the gutter

 

“Why? Did I do something wrong again??” she follows her every move.

 

“No…!!”

 

“Then why are you being angry!!??”

 

“I’m not angry”…. She pauses….

 

”I love it so much” she wraps her arms around Taeyeon’s neck

 

She wraps her arms around Tiffany’s waist in return while staring to each other

 

“I appreciate all your efforts…but of course you can’t get me back right away” she teases her

 

She smirks “Oh well I know you missed me so much Ms. Kim”

 

“Really?”

 

“Yes you are” She grabs her collar and pulls her closer to her

 

“I miss you and I love you Kim Taeyeon” she moves closer to capture her lips

 

            Taeyeon kisses back and the scene last long while three people watching them from roof top house of the other school building, the one resting her chin on her palm, the other one busy taking pictures of the sweet scene while the other is playing on her cell phone.

 

“They are so sweet!” Yoona said

 

“What a great view from here, I’ll sell this picture to Tiffany, I’m sure she will buy it” Sooyoung said

 

“I’m glad this plan works…working with Taeyeon again is risking our friendship” Sunny commented not letting her eyes on her phone

 

"At least Taeyeon's weird suggestions that she wanted us to tell Fany works" Yoona reply back

 

“Well at least it works. Fany is smart but when it comes to love, she don’t know what to do”

 

The two take a look again on the school ground, holding each others hands and smiling brightly.

 

Tiffany puckered her brows “Tae”

 

“Hhmmm??”

 

“Did you work again with my friends?” She asks of course she knows her girlfriend really well. She cannot pull off such plan without the help of others.

 

“ahhhhh…ahhh…keke….ye…yess…don’t get angry at them…” she’s stuttering

 

She let a big sigh towards Taeyeo while the other girl just scratches her head smiling widely

 

“I’ll let this pass…because teaming up with them this time…turns out to be perfect” she suddenly on Taeyeon’s neck

 

“YAHHHHHH…what was that?” she’s surprised but she thought “yeah I almost end up loosing her. This girl. My love”

 

“Don’t act surprise at all Ms. Kim you’re hands has been groping my for a while”

 

“EHEHEHEHE”
