Once upon a time in a magical place called Sone Kingdom, there lives a bright and beautiful angel named Tiffany. She was envied by many other angels in all ages because of her wings as white as a snow and sparkle like diamond crystals even her eyes, which turned into perfect crescent moon shape that can capture the everyone’s heart. Though she grew up at a middle class type of a family many believed, especially the league of the elders that she was the daughter of the Queen of their land, Queen MiYoung a mythical creature that the elders believed to be true…But one day Tiffany broke the prince heart who was deeply in loved with her, and she rejected his offer for a marriage because she do not have any feelings for him. She believed that she will only take part of such sacred thing with the one whom she had a feeling. The news was heard all over the kingdom and she was condemned to exile as the prince cursed her and took back her envied wings….

 

The only way to get back her wings is to find true love that she did not see to the prince..

 

“I’ll give you back your wings once you find true love and you can finally return to our Kingdom” the prince said and cast a spell to her

 

“NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!” she yells but it’s too late…

 

 

 

-----At the earth
            Taeyeon was having her star gazing on the roof alone. She was looking at the stars at the sky that gives light to the darkness of the night…As she enjoyed her moment her eyes widened in disbelief as she saw something bright at the sky getting nearer and nearer,, She got blinded by the bright light that gleamed to her sight. She saw fire scattered at the field and hurriedly went down from the roof to the ground and rushed to the site where the bright thing landed.

 

“What the hell is this?” gets nearer to the big hole

 

“Isn’t it fire suppose to be hot but why do I feel so cold?” she felt cold all of a sudden.

 

            As she felt strange atmosphere on the area,,,, her curiosity aroused that she couldn’t stop herself to see what was on the hole…She got shocked when she saw a body positioned like a baby on a mother’s womb..

 

“OMO!! Crap ! ?....Maybe this is why I feel cold!” she blurted out as she rubbed her arms

 

            Her instinct told her to get down to the hole and help the unconscious figure as she touched the body an electric current run through her body that sent chills to her.
 

 

-----In the morning
            Taeyeon was staring on the sleeping figure wondering where the girl came from…she couldn’t be wrong because she saw it clearly in her eyes that the bright thing she saw last night was the one that landed on their field.

 

The sleeping figure slowly opened her eyes

She smiled and greeted her the figure warmly “you are awake”

 

“Who are you!!!???” The figure who had been lying on her bed jump at the floor and hide at the edge of the bed

 

She was shock also with the latter’s wierd acts “Hey,,, I’m the one who suppose to ask you that and why do you came from the sky?”

 

“You’re an enemy” the latter pointed at her peeking through the edge of the bed

Taeyeon kneeled on her bed crawling towards the side of the weird girl

 

 “Hey I’m not an enemy…calm down” taming the girl

 

“If your not an enemy then who are you,,, where am I?” the latter asked

 

“I’m Tae-taeyeon,,, you’re at my home..I..I..I saw you falling from the sky”

 

The wierd girl stood up and slowly climb on the bed but found out it was soft that she sink on the bed

 

“A quicksand!! Get out of that thing!!!” she jumped out of the bed

 

“no..it’s a bed!!...it’s not a quicksand look,,I’m not sinking”

 

She touch the bed “but it’s soft”

 

“Come on get in here” taeyeon offered making a space for the latter

 

She climbed back and knelt on the bed, slowly moving closer scanning Taeyeon’s face “you’re not…”

 

Taeyeon froze on her spot because of the sudden closed proximity of their faces, she gulped “what are you doing,, do I have something on my face?” she asked holding her breath

 

She then poked taeyeon’s nose and cheeks “You are not an angel”

 

“What??...Of course I’m not an angel,, I’m a human that looks like an angel” she laughed with her ahjumma laugh complimenting herself

 

            Saying those words to herself, she did not notice that the girl already left the bed and started to look around the room where all the stuffs were unfamiliar to her…she look at everything intently..

 

“KRINGGG, KRINGGG, KRINGGG, KRINGGG, KRINGGG, !!!!” the alarm rings

 

The oblivious angel ran back to taeyeon and hid at her back being all scared

 

“Who are you why are you making noise!!” the angel asked

 

Turn to look at the girl “Hey..”

 

“You hide.....he will kill you!!” pulling hef sleeves

 

 

“Huh? Kill me…it’s an alarm clock” she get it and show to the hiding girl who jumped in fear

“you know him?” the scared one studied the alarm clock getting ready if it attcks her

 

“This thing will not harm you!!”

 

She closed her eyes as taeyeon takes it nearer to her

 

Saw the girls reaction “You are weird…open your eyes”

 

“It stops already?” the other one was wondering when nothing happened to her

 

“Yes because I stop it” the angel tilted her head to the side confused at what was happening while Taeyeon found it so cute and adorable that she just want to pinch her cheeks

 

The angel took the alarm to the taeyeon’s hand and looked closer to it “He’s not harmful”

 

This made Taeyeon wondered so she touched the girl’s forehead cheking if she was sick or something or maybe hallucinating that was why the other girl was acting weirdly

 

“You are not sick” she said upon feeling that she was not at all

 

            The whole day Taeyeon was confuse and wondering about the girls strange acts…she was watching every move the girl takes and her confusion continues to arouse.

 

“This girl is crazy…making me crazy” ~ she thought as she ruffled her hair

 

            Taeyeon caught herself looking at the girl intently as the girl stand on the window and look up to the sky thinking deeply…..

 

“I’ll give you back your wings once you find…” the girl at the window  heard a voice on her mind that cause her to run to Taeyeon and act strange again

 

 

“Do you know who is true love?” asking holding the smaller girl’s shoulders

 

“What?”

 

“I need to find true love in order to get back my wings”

 

The smaller girl just laughed upon hearing her “Wings? Are you hallucinating or you’re in dreamland?”

 

“I’m not but I need to find true love,  he’s the only one who can return my wings”

 

“You are insane!”

 

“Please, Please, Please, Please…help me find him!” she showed her puppy eyes which taeyeon couldn’t resist

 

            Taeyeon seemed to be hypnotized as she saw the girl’s eyes sparkle like a diamond crystals that catch her attention and those protruding lips while pleading her…she can’t help but to grant the girls request

 

“ARA..ARASSO!!”

 

Being delighted she had to made sure the smaller one will help her  “Promise?”

 

“uhmm…” the smaller girl nodded

 

“thank you” the angel hugged her tight

 

Another electric current sent her to chills “but before I help you” push the girl slowly “tell me who you are and where did you live,, who your parents are so I can send you home”

 

            The girl obeyed Taeyeon and sat on a comfortable place for her, the floor.

 

“I’mTiffany,,, my parents are sapphire and eros,, they are farmers on our place…Sone Kingdom” told somthing about her cheerfully

 

Taeyeon took time to absorbed what she have said  “She’s beautiful but I think she’s gone crazy” thought herself helplessly

 

“And who are you?” this time it was Tiffany’s turn to ask

 

“I’m Kim Taeyeon, I leave on earth”

 

“Is there such thing as earth kingdom?” the taller girl being curious asked

 

The smaller girl frowned“Yes…and you’re on earth right now”

 

‘what am I talking to this girl’ ~ she let a big sigh

 

“I’m on earth!! Is this exile?” the curious girl leaned closer to the latter

 

“What? Tell me are you just kidding or what you tell to me where all true” Taeyeon couldn’t comprehend everything that she was saying and it made her head aches

 

“You don’t believe me?”

 

“I’m confuse now…..I don’t know if I’ just dreaming or not!”

 

“Same with me..”

 

            Taeyeon’s mind was blown up by Tiffany, who tells everything that looks out of this world. She can only believe that the girl is gone crazy..

 

“I need to clear things up before I go crazy like you!”

 

“What do you mean?”

 

“you thought me as an enemy even my alarm clock,, you even tell that my bed is a quicksand what confuse me most is that You told me this morning I’m not an angel what do you mean and you need to find true love to get back your wings…what is that, are you a human, alien or what?”

 

“What is human?” bend her head slightly to the side

 

“Gosh…a human is someone like me…one who leaves on earth”

 

“Ah so you’re a human because you live on earth…then I’m an angel,,, that’s what they call those who leave in our kingdom”

 

“So you’re angel Tiffany?” she raised her brow

 

The angel nodded cutely but pouted when she thought of her wings

 

“But why are you sad?”

 

“I’m not an angel if I don’t have my wings!”

 

“So everyone who leaves in your kingdom have wings?”

 

“Yes!!!”

 

“Do you have super powers?

 

“All of us do,,, but I’m definitely weak coz I don’t have my wings”

 

“Okay angel Tiffany… I’m kinda bombarded with all you said to me right now and I want to rest”

 

“But you told me that you will help me find true love?”

 

“Is that truelove a human or an angel?”

 

“I don’t know but the prince told me,, I need to find truelove so I can have my wings back”

 

            Taeyeon slamped her body to the bed, closed her eyes and disregard the now disappointed angel,,,, she knew that if she answer back another thing will confuse her more… One is enough for her,,, as she lay down on the bed she’s trying hard to conclude things out of this world. On the other hand Tiffany was there still on the floor watching the human sleep on the bed pouting

 

“Tiffany can you kill the lights” Taeyeon asked…

 

“Ne” the latter shortly answered and snappe her finger

 

Heard an explosion and open her yes “What is that?” saw the floor with scattered broken bulb “What did you do?”

 

“You tell to kill the lights!”

 

“What I mean is to switch it off not to make it explode”

 

“Mianhe” she apologized

 

“Get the broom and sweep it” the smaller girl ordered her again

 

But she just looked up to the girl who was on her bed

 

“Don’t tell me you don’t know what a broom is?”

 

“yes”

 

“Aishhhh…” help the girl to stand up and get the broom and put it on Tffany’s’s hands

 

“Here this is how you do it” guiding  the angel on sweeping the floor”

 

Looking to Taeyeon’s side whose focus was guiding her “Did every one of you knows how to do this?”

 

“Yes except those baby and younger ones,, but ones they can think already older ones teach them to do it…” gather the broken pieces to the center

 

“Don’t touch it okay!! I’ll be the one to pick it coz my dust pan is broken”

 

Watching Taeyeon look towards the broken pieces and pick it one by one made the angel think how cute the human looks like…suddenly remembers her mom who did the same way when she accidentally broke their plate, her mom has superpowers but what always make her confuse is that her mom is the only angel she know that makes such weird things..

 

“OUCH…” cut her finger with a piece of glass

 

“Oh,, it’s bleeding let me have it” she took her hand and insert it to

“Tiffany!” she winced in pain ....

 

Minutes later it was gone

 

“Does it still hurt?”

 

“Aniyo” look at the wound “where’s the cut?”

 

“It healed already”

 

“How did you do that?”

 

            Before Tiffany could answer she felt intolerable pain on her chest and the more she moves the more it tightens as if she was being repeatedly punched. She’s gasping for air and Taeyeon was panicking

 

“What do you feel huh? Did something hurt?”

 

“I need to rest” unable to speak clearly

 

“Rest?.. Omo” she assisted the weak one to stand

 

Take few deep breaths to cease the pain then collapse in the smaller girl’s arms

 

“Tiffany?” lay the unconscious girl on the bed,, check the pulse “still breathing!”

               Taeyeon was done on her chores when Tiffany open her eyes staring at the ceiling,

 

“How are you?” put the soup at the side table

 

“What is that?” looking at the bowl

 

“Soup for you,, come sit down and I’ll feed you”

 

Sit up “Ahhhh”

 

Smiles “Here!...”

 

Tasting the soup and touch taeyeon’s finger “How was this ?”

 

“Oh it’s fine,,, how did you do that? My wound disappear after you it”

 

“I cure it”

 

“Thank you, but what happen to you last night,,, you suddenly struggled to breath”

 

“I have powers that others don’t have aside from another one,, and it’s curing but I don’t know why I felt weak after I use it to you maybe because my wings isn’t here”

 

“Is that how important your wings for you?”

 

“Very much!! That’s why I need your help to find it!”

 

“Is he a human, or an alien or an angel like you?”

 

“I have no idea!!”

 

“What is the name again?”

 

“True love!”

 

“I think it’s not a name but a feeling, here in our place true love is a feeling that you feel for someone you love or you like”

 

-----2  months have past (still unable to find Truelove)
            Tiffany was always left alone on the house, she always make herself busy and doing some chores that Taeyeonn thought her to do while waiting for her to return. She already sweep the floor, water the plants, wipe the displays and what television, that’s the only chores the smaller girl thought her for now. Taeyeon ordered her not to use any of her power to prevent a much serious case than collapsing. The night was in and she sat at the chair while looking outside the window to wait for Taeyeon, much of her boredom she saw someone standing behind the tree with a closed figure on her back, not a human .

 

“Who are you?” using mental telepathy

 

“How are you?”

 

“You are angel?”

 

“Yes,,, but I can’t get near you MY DEAR” emphasizing the word my dear

 

“Jessica…you come to help me”

 

Spread her wings and bright lights sprinkle on the surrounding “Yes my dear but I can only advice you”

 

“You have your wings?”

 

“Yes I did,,, the elders did not know that I went hear”

 

“Jessica, I can’t understand my mission here!” head aching

 

“Tiffany,,, I think this is all for now.. You rest. Your head is aching, my dear”

 

“Wait! Answer me!!”

 

“Please don’t tell anyone even your small friend about this”

 

            Tiffany mumbles as her head squeezing,,, Taeyeon who just got home saw Tiffany suffering while holding onto her head with her two hands…

 

“Fany-ah…you alright” she asked worriedly

 

“Oh you are here“ she tried to smile

 

“Did you use your power again?”

 

“Sorry!”

 

“tsk. Let me help you,, transfer you to the sofa”

 

            Taeyeon not at ease seeing her in pain,, she immediately took a basin and poured it with warm water, grabbed the towel and soaked it on the basin and wring it, she put it on the girls forehead but the girl refused to it..

 

“I’m not sick you don’t have to do that”

 

“Fany,, I shouldn’t leave you alone…”

 

“Don’t blame yourself”

 

“You rest now”

 

Grab Taeyeon’s hand “Did you take your dinner already?”

 

“Why did you cook?”

 

“No,, I’m just worried you starving yourself.” She smiled which made the latter smile also and patted her head

 

“You wait first I’ll cook for us and next time I go out,,.I promise I’ll bring you then”

          
Tiffany  turn side lying while biting her nails observing Taeyeon preparing foods for the two of them, watching the girl make her want to stop the time and wanted to cook with her but definitely the girl will not allow her because she’s weak,,, she wrinkles her nose and thump her feet for not able to join her in cooking which Taeyeon find so cute.

 

“Here’s the food” can’t hide her smile

 

“I want to learn cooking” scowling

 

“Ok,, don’t make face,, I will but not now”

 

“When?”

 

“Tomorrow you want?”

 

“Yes of course”

“What is a park?” out of the blue Tiffany asked

 

“Huh? Where did you hear that?”

 

“Those little girls playing at the field”

 

“That’s a place where you can walk around, play around…If you have a problem you can also go there to unwind.. Mostly human like me go there to have fun…there’s also some rides there”

 

“I can’t picture it out” put a spoon on

 

“Ok,, I’ll bring you  there tomorrow”

 

“But you will teach me how to cook”

 

“I’ll teach you then I’ll bring you there after”

 

“You’re not busy tomorrow?”

 

“Ah,, I’ll rest first then the next day I will look for another job”

 

            Both finished their food already and Taeyeon ordered Tiffany to go to their room first while she’s busy washing the dishes. Tiffany on the other hand is waiting for her to arrive so they can sleep already but she felt someone is behind her.

 

 

“Tiffany” voice from behind

 

Turn around “Jessica”

 

“I come back to answer your question”

 

“What if the elders find out that you secretly sneak out in the kingdom?”

 

“That will never happen”

 

“Ok…why are you helping me?”

 

“I want you back,, you said you don’t know what’s your mission right?”

 

“Yes..”

 

“Well in what I heard to the elders,, you are not looking for an angel or any human”

 

“What do you mean?”

“Based on elders conversation,, true love is something you will feel when you are with some one”

 

“I don’t get it?”

 

“I don’t get it too,,, but that’s according to the elders”

 

She thought of what the smaller girl told her before “Is taetae right?”

 

 

KNOCK KNOCK,

 

 

“Fany-ah!” call from behind the door

 

“Jessica you have to hide” holding Jessica’s hand

 

Saw Tiffany’s reaction “Did you see a ghost?”

 

Checked Jessica but the girl already disappears

 

Look around “I hear you talking with someone”

 

“Ahhh..that’s nothing” pull taeyeon on the bed

 

“Are you with someone” suspicious

 

“No…I’m just with you” exclaim in nervousness

 

               Taeyeon can’t reply back coz’ she’s surprise on what Tiffany said to her…It’s unusual for her but her heart flutters hearing those words come out from the girls mouth

 

Someone speak the the angel’s mind “My dear”

 

“Jessi” using mental telepathy

 

“I leave you for a while,, I will go back to our kingdom to scout the elders,,, I promise once I got back I clear what your mission is”

 

“Ne,, thank you!”

 

“Maybe that human know what is true love” voice vanish

 

Snapping her fingers “Fany fany fany?”

 

“What you said?”

 

“I said let’s sleep!”

 

“Ara…” lay on bed

 

Noticing Taeyeon not laying on the bed but looks uncomfortable

 

“Why are you not lying on the bed…I thought you want to sleep already” looking to taeyeon

 

Gulped the give a peck on Tiffany’s cheek “Good night”

 

Touching her cheek “What is that?”

 

“That…that what humans do when they are..are about to …to …sleep”

 

“Really?....then don’t move” she returned the kiss “Sleep well”

 

“You’re so innocent” lay on bed and slid under the blanket

 

               Under the blanket Taeyeon can’t hide her happiness…She’s blushing really hard and her heart throbbing fast,, she felt Tiffany’s legs on top of her legs

 

“Did she fall asleep already?” cannot move but can’t stop smiling

 

The angel hugged her from behind as what she usually does but now she can’t sleep soundly

 

“Why are you so noisy…stop it!!!” with a sleepy voice, the angel grunts annoyed that her sleep was being interrupted

 

“Huh? I’m not talking”

 

“What do you mean….your making noise…please stop making fast throbbing sound…I can’t sleep well”

 

“Throbbing sound?” face turn to red and realize what sh meant for it

 

“She hear my heartbeat”

               Taeyeon woke up without the angel on her side, she panicked and go downstairs immediately to seek for her…In her search she saw the angel at the kitchen holding a ladle

 

Run towards Taeyeon “You’re awake …!”

 

“Yahh…”

 

“Why?”

 

“I thought you left me…I thought you’re gone!”

 

“Why would I? Wait where’s your slippers? You look for me even without combing your hair or doing your morning thing?”

 

“Tssss…It’s because of you! You know?” walks out

 

Scratch her head in confusion

 

               Tiffany was waiting on the kitchen but Taeyeon did not show up…She’s being impatient already so she walk upstairs and confront the girl for being so slow not knowing that the girl inside the room is leaning on the other side of the door hugging her knees being embarrassed on what she reacted the morning.

 

“Are you still not done!!! I want you to teach me now”

 

Take a deep breath and face the door “Hey just wait for a while”

 

“I can’t wait any longer” whines

 

“I’ll go out in few minutes” fix her self

 

Put her ear on the door and got struck as the other suddenly open the door “Oh”

 

“Let’s go”

 

“YES!!!!” delighted

 

 

 

 

-----At the kitchen
               Taeyeon taught Tiffany patiently on how to cook rice and fried chicken,, she gave her all effort on guiding the girl even if she commits so many mistakes at first..

 

“you’re doing great” she praised

 

“Of course! Because you’re teaching me!!”

 

She smiles, “that’s fluttering you know” she held Tiffany’s hand and guide it on flipping the chicken on the pan

 

“Thank you for being patient on teaching me!!”

 

“Ne that’s alright.. I think you have to learn simple chores so at least you can be like a little human.”

 

               Resting at the sofa after the teaching session,  Tiffany can’t help herself to ask why Taeyeon act differently this morning

 

“taetae act strange this morning…are you sick?”

 

She was taken aback by her quiestion and her heart beats fast “No I’m not…I ..I..I just care about you”

 

“Care??”

 

“You don’t know what caring means?? Then how’s your kingdom if caring does not exist?”

 

“Tell me what does it mean then maybe there’s an equivalent word for that in our kingdom”

 

“It’s being concern to someone important to you!” blushing

 

“Oh,, treating people with compassion is what you meant in caring”

 

“That’s it”

 

“You care because I’m important for you….But are you making noise again????”

 

“What?” she put her hand over her chest

 

The angel pay attention to the sound “It was like last night?” slowly bring closer her ears to the origin of the sound

 

Taeyeon wench to the edge of the sofa until she cannot move backwards any longer

 

Trailing to taeyeon then put her ear on her chest “The sound comes from within”

 

Taeyeon blushed hard hard  “Stop that”

 

She then looked up to the smaller girl and noticed her cheeks “You’re turning red”

 

               Taeyeon cannot move any longer and she does not know how to react on Tiffany’s innocent questions and unexpected moves… All of a sudden,, she accidentally push her that causes the angel to fall on the floor

 

“Ouch”

 

“I’m sorry” helping her to stand

 

“Why you have such drum-like sound in your chest?”

 

“I don’t know…every time you get closer to me,,,it’s happening” unable to admit that she starts to fall

 

“Is that possible that I will have that too?”

 

“Stop it,,, get your self up,, I’ll bring you to the park now”

 

 

-----At the park 
The two were walking to the park and the angel seems to enjoy it,,, It’s  her first time to see rides and so many humans, she’s like a child who got a reward from her parents,,, she run here and there, back and forth happily…

 

“Hey you may get exhausted in what you are doing”

 

“It’s so fun in here”

 

Just stand while watching the other enjoy the place

 

Catching up for air “Taetae”

 

“See,, You’re tired because of running around”

 

“Let’s rest”

 

“Come with me let’s find a bench…You can still enjoy this place even if you just walk”

 

“Is that so?”

 

“Uhmm..”

 

               After few minutes of resting,  she regain her strength again but did not dare to run again but just walk with Taeyeon while looking around the whole place..

 

 

“fany,, just stay by my side Ok!”

 

“Yep… what is that??”

 

“Ice cream vendor…You want an ice cream?”

 

“Is that a food?”

 

“Yes…it’s a cold one”

 

“Ok then I want some…ok wait here,,, don’t move…I’ll be back”

 

               Upon returning with the ice cream,,, Tiffany asked Taeyeon non stop again…even asked how to eat an ice cream.

 

“This is delicious” the cream

 

“Is it delicious?”

 

“Uhmm…very much”

 

“I’m done” left a cream on her lips

 

“Oh you have a dirt,,, let me wipe it!” gesturing on touching Tiffany’s lips but the girl move away and point to something

 

“Why?”

 

“What are they doing?”

 

She looked at to where she was pointing and choked

 

“Are you alright?” She moved closer to the blushing girl checking if she was okay.

 

“EHEM!! EHEM!!” she coughed as the thought of what the two figures doing hit her head

 

Move closer “what’s wrong…”

 

“It’s nothing!!” she said

 

Cling her arms “please tell me!!

 

“Ahh….Ki…ki…kissing”?

 

Pouts “kissing?? What’s that?”

 

            As she felt really embarrass and really don’t know how to explain that scene to the innocent girl,,, she immediately pull the angel with her away from the two figures sharing a passionate kiss in front of them.

 

Putting resistance to her pull “Why do they do that huh?”

 

“Let’s go home”

 

“you did not answer my ques….” Put her finger on her lips

 

“No more asking….Okay??”

 

            On their way home,,, Tiffany kept on nagging and asking her about what kissing is but the girl pretended not to hear her until they arrive in front of Taeyeon’s front door there Tiffany lose her temper, she shoved the smaller girl’s hand from holding her arms and stop walking, looking and refuse to enter the house

 

“What’s wrong with you?” Taeyeon asked

 

“What’s wrong with you?”

 

“Are you being like that because I refuse to answer your question?”

 

Wrinkled her nose

 

“I guess so” enter the house and did not mind the angel

 

“Oh…taetae-ah” run after the girl.. “Please tell me what does it mean,,, why did they do that?”

 

“How come you did not know that thing?”

 

“What…It’s my first time seeing that kind of scene…I never saw that happen in our kingdom”

 

“What? So how do angels express their feelings to each other…crap if you don’t know what’s kissing then you don’t know what’s s** all about?”

 

“S**?..is that kissing too”

 

“Yays…why did I mention that thing…golly Kim Taeyeon what are you going to say!” she thought in back of her mind

 

             Being all confused,, Tiffany asked her nonstop while on the other way around Taeyeon keeps on blaming herself for spilling those words to her,,, now she’s got to find way how to explain it to clearly.

 

Moves closer to Taeyeon’s face “So what now? You can’t stand me anymore so you will answer me now?”

Smiles “So what’s kissing” focused her ears only to her

 

Take a deep breath “Kissing is like what you saw on the park…I think you get what I mean”

“Oh that’s it, then why those two do that?”

“Those two are couple,, they do that to express how affectionate they were to each other…”

 

Absorbing her explanation

 

“That’s it..I want to sleep now..”

 

            Taeyeon with the thought of Tiffany was done asking questions, she went to her bed but before she could close her eyes, the girl show up on her sight.

 

“Can I do kissing with someone I like even if we are not a couple?”

 

“uhmm, well if you want to express your feeling to someone you like, I guess you can do a kiss ”

 

“Is that it?”

 

“Yes”

She kissed taeyeon’s cheek “Good Night”

 

            Taeyeon felt strange as Tiffany suddenly kept quiet then lay beside her without saying a word but at the same time she felt relieved because it seems that Tiffany got contented on her thoughts, and she did not ask any further.

 

“Are you still awake?”

 

“Yes I am”

 

“Can I ask something?”

 

“Go ahead”

 

“How do angels like you bear a child?”

 

“If two angels like each other, they will inform the league of elders about it and those elders will bless you as a couple.. After the ceremony they will give a specific drink to the couple..I don’t know what it is but after that drink the female angel will automatically bear a child and take care of it for months”

 

            She who listen intently to her explanation thought of it and give her a clear idea on why the innocent girl seem not to know everything when it comes to human acts,, it’s because of their culture.

 

“Can I ask again?”

 

“Ne”

 

“For once, did you ever see an angel like you act similar to what human do?”

 

“I don’t know but I think there is.. All of us has powers and in just one snap what we want to finish will be finish right away but one angel showed different,, I remember when you pick those broken bulb one by one”

 

“You mean that angel act as a human?”

 

“Well…that time I accidentally broke our plate,, my mom pick it up instead of using her powers”

 

“It’s your mom you are talking about?”

 

“Yes but she passed away when I was a child”

 

“I’m sorry about that”

 

“She was stoned to death because of unable to fly even if she has a wings and acting differently from what angels suppose to act”

 

“That’s weird”

 

“Yes its weird…really weird”

 

Let’s sleep, I know you are tired already”

            All while, for the past two weeks Taeyeon always brought Tiffany along with her in looking for a job as what the girl promise to her. Unfortunately in that span of time she wasn’t hired but do not lose hope because she badly needed it, that if she do; both her and the angel will starve to death, another one is because the angel wass always there on her side and that her feeling grows deeper as time passed by… While on the other hand the innocent angel was so hopeless for not being able to find trulov, she gave up on hopes that she will help her and now her only hope was Jessica who still do not show up since the last time they had a conversation.

----- At the entrance of a huge company

 

“This is my last stop for today”

 

“Ne..You can do it” she cheered her up

 

“If I got the job then I will cook or you”

 

“Ne Hwaiting!!!!”

 

            Taeyeon with her beautiful radiant smile faces the interview with lots of confidence and after few minutes of conversing with the interviewer,, she’s so lucky get the spot…

 

“Fany-ah” looking depressed

 

“Taetae” seeing how sad her face she knew she wasn’t able to get a job still,

 

“it’s alright we can find another” she showed her comfort

 

“I got HIRED TIFFANY!!!” then when Taeyeon saw tiffany reacted, she beamed a smile and ended her act

 

“REALLY?”

 

“YES!!”

 

            Both jumping in happiness and Tiffany suddenly paused and bend her head slightly to the side thinking.

 

“Why? Are you not happy I got hired?”

 

“What do you mean by HIRED”

 

Sighs “I thought you already understand.”

 

“I’m just carried away because you are so joyous”

 

“What I mean is I got a job and I’ll be starting tomorrow”

 

“Mwo?? Really!!!” kiss taeyeon’s cheek

 

Blushing  “Why did you do that?”

 

“Oh congratulating you!!”

 

“Where did you learn that?”

 

“HEHE…I saw it last time…I just copy it from other” eye smile

            Taeyeon started to work at the Photoshop company…she always bring Tiffany with her and left her at the café where she can view her even if she’s busy working, sometimes Tiffany will pout her lips and give her an eye smile when she caught her checking on her…the angel seemed to be a cute child who follow her command not to leave the café unless she’s with her but one thing the other girl always noticed,, it’s the same waitress that always serve Tiffany…She doesn’t know if that girl volunteers to serve her but every time she saw her approaching Tiffany she always wear a smile and she happily smiles back and talk to her.

 

Checking Tiffany from the glass window “She’s there again”

 

“Can you please edit this one..it’s for a magazine cover’

 

“Ah..ne!!”

 

“Checking on your friend again?”

 

“uhm”

 

“If you don’t want that girl to always serve your friend then ask the manager to pick another one”’

 

“Oh..I’ll take your advice boss”

 

-----At the café
Looking at the window waiting for Taeyeon to look at her, blowing her bangs then the waitress approach her with a cup of tea.

 

“Hello Tiffany”

 

“Hi..Here again to give me a free drink?”

 

“yes..”

 

“Waiting for her again?”

 

“Yes”

 

“Don’t you get tired?”

 

Confused  “tired of waiting?”

 

“Yes”

 

“Ah...no,, I’m not gonna be tired of waiting for her!”

 

“I see…”

 

“Why are you not smiling today?”

 

“Can we walk later after work?”

 

“I don’t know but my taetae told me not to leave if she’s not with me”

 

“Can you not trust me?..I’m not gonna harm you”

 

Saw the waitress eyes sparkles “Ok..but not too long huh?”

 

“OK!!” turns her back to Tiffany “My Dear finally you give me time…”

 

            Office hours is done and Taeyeon was about to leave when her boss approach her and ask her to stay a bit more for a while,, He ask her and few others to have their overtime for today because they need to meet the magazine cover Photoshop deadline ..She can’t do anything about it but to follow her boss but a bit hesitant at first because Tiffany wass there waiting for her.

 

“I know your friend right?”

 

“Yes”

 

“Go to her and ask her to wait for you..Then comeback”

 

“Thanks sir”

 

Running across the street to the café

 

“Oh you are here alreay let’s go..”

 

“I have to stay a bit longer,,, can you wait for me?”

 

“Not going home?”

 

“I’ll finish it right away so we can go home...we just need to meet our deadline”

 

Pouts

 

“I’m sorry, I know you are tired already…don’t leave OK”

Pinched Tiffany’s cheek and run across the street back to her office and get their work started. As Taeyeon focuses on her work.. Tiffany on the café seems to lose her patience waiting for her.

 

 

“Oh..You still here” she asked when she saw the waitress that always served her

 

“Can we walk now!”

 

Uncertain on what to answer “No,, I can’t leave Taetae will be angry”

 

“Are you going to just sit here and wait for her or you walk with so at least you will not get bored on waiting for her”

 

“But…” glancing on the window “Ok..But make it fast!”

 

            The two leave the café and walk on the road heqading to the small park with lots of big trees near the café…TIffany was nervous because if Taeyeon finish her work and dis not see her there waiting for her,, she’s pretty sure she will be angry to her and she do not want that to happen.

Stop at the middle of the park

 

“We are here”

 

“Too many trees…”

 

“Yes..It’s a right place to talk to you MY DEAR”

 

“My dear?”

 

“My dear ….I’m Jessica!”’

 

Step backwards “No you are not…”

 

“Please don’t shout I’m Jessica I said”

 

“You are not”

“See it..!” she held Tiffany’s shoulder and look into her eyes then a sparkling blue eyes show up

“Now you believe in me?”

 

“Where are your wings?”

 

“It’s hidden,, though I still have it, only animals can see it”

 

“How did you do that?”

 

“I ask elder JiSoo to make my wings disappear when I’m here then he gave me a potion”

 

“How..Of course elder JiSoo will ask where you will use it.”

 

“My dear, elder JiSoo know I’m going here on earth because of you, in fact he helps me”

 

“But what if other elders find out you will get punish and also him”

 

“You know that you are elder JiSoo’s favorite apprentice..So he will definitely help you deal with it even if it cause him trouble…let’s change the topic now…there’s no time left”

 

“How’s spying to the elders…do you know where I can find truelove?’

 

“I knew it..”

 

“Wait someone is coming”

 

“Let’s hide”

 

“It’s ok..That human will not see my wings,,, just act normal”

 

               Jessica explained what she found out about her bestfriend’s task…meanwhile,, Taeyeon with her team mates finishes their work already… She hurriedly run across the street and went to tiffany’s seat but she found nothing…Her innocent angel was not there waiting for her…She ran outside the café and look for her in every shop that is still open but no Tiffany…..She was really worried and she can’t think well until she walk to a place she knew, the last place where she can only think she can possibly be. She was surprise on what she saw two figures, the taller one pull hug the other one to a hug and the other one happily replied back

 

“MY DEAR!! You take care” release from the hug but still holding to the girl’s hand

 

“NE..Thank You!! Jessica”

 

On the dark side of the park

 

“Fany” a soft but struggling voice called out

 

“Taetae..”

 

Walk towards the angel and grab Tiffany’s hand from Jessica

 

Shock “what are you doing?”

 

               Taeyeon ignored Jessica’s question and pull Tiffany with her…she get a cab and let the angel first.. On their way home the smaller girl did not say anything that made Tiffany so worried until they reach their destination.

 

Pay the cab and walk out not minding Tiffany

 

“Ahjussi..Thank you” runs after walk-out girl “Taetae!!”

 

Enter the house,,stop when the angel’s hand grabs her

 

“What’s happening..?”

 

“Did not I tell not to go out of that café unless I’m with you already” yells

 

“I’m sorry..I will not repeat that again...please don’t be angry with me”

 

               Taeyeon cannot say a word and just bite her lips, she can forgive Tiffany over not following her but the image of being hugged by someone else and calling her “my dear” keeps on flashing on her mind…

 

“Please…forgive me!”

 

              Taeyeon cannot handle her feelings anymore, she break down into tears and fall on the floor sobbing in pain. Tiffany immediately walk to hug her.

 

“Sorry Taetae, I know you’re upset with me” she was apologetic

 

               Taeyeon while crying look up to to the angel and stare to the girls eyes...Deep in Taeyeon’s eyes Tiffany can feel pain but without a blink of an eye Tiffany’s heart beat raises and starts to throb when she felt the smaller girl’s lips touch hers…

While still on Taeyeon’s lips, she’s not responding but her thoughts was on what the later told her about kissing.

 

“Can I do kissing with someone I like even if we are not a couple?”

 

“uhmm, well if you want to express your feeling to someone you like, I guess you can do a kiss ”

 

‘Taeyeon likes me??’ ~ she smiled on her thought

 

            Taeyeon starts to slowly part her lips on Tiffany, before she can fully part her lips to her, the angel already lock her lips to her again…It started with a soft peck but it drag on to the next level as Taeyoen cannot handle herself anymore,  Tiffany who does not know the reason why she kiss back just let the shorter girl kiss her passionately and tries to do the same while she wraps her hands on the other girls waist.

 

Watching from the dark “My dear, you fall for her…pity with that girl, you will leave her soon” said bleakly, wrap herself with her wings then vanished

 

            The passionate kiss last long but ended abruptly when both struggle to breath. An awkward silence occur and their eyes meet again but Tiffany break away and stand immediately, run to their room and  cover slip under the blanket…Taeyeon left at the sala follows and slowly walk upstairs and gently lay herself besideTiffany.

 

“Fany-ah..Good Night”

 

“Ne!”

 

            Ever since the kiss, Tiffany always felt her heart throbbing fast as if it wants to explode every time Taeyeon was near. She always want the girl’s company and want to stay forever and she feels like admitting to the girl that she like or love her but she’s spacing out because she’s unsure on her feelings

-----At the bed
            Taeyeon was deep asleep but Tiffany was awake thinking on what Jessica told her at the park.

FLASH BACK

 

“So last time you told me truelove is not an angel or a human,, it’s a feeling, so what’s on it?”

 

“My dear, True Love is something you feel inside yourself, there at your heart towards someone…”

 

“Uhmm? Tru-e Lov-e??”

 

“According to the head of the League of Elders, You will feel true love when someone you like is with you or near you…you’re heart make a fast throbbing sound as if it want to explode there in your chest, you always see yourself smiling and so happy if that someone  you like is with you, moreover you always want to see that someone because that someone completes you,  the feeling when you don’t want to lose someone you like …I can’t remember what he exactly said but”

 

“Go recall it!”

 

“It’s like this For us, we show our feelings by liking other but here on earth it’s more than just liking it’s loving, If you feel those things towards someone, that means you love someone… “

 

“So it’s more than liking someone? What if I can’t take my eyes on that someone and I feel like always want to show comfort, If I always want to make her happy”

 

“One more thing,, If you feel sad when that someone feel sad, if you are happy too if you see that someone happy then, you share everything thru downfall or happiness. If you feel deeply attached to someone you are in love”

 

“LOVING, LOVE, INLOVE? Ok then that someone who is that a human or an angel?”

 

“That’s what I don’t know…You will just know when you start to feel everything I said..”

 

“Now I know...Hope to feel it so I can have my wings back and I can return to our Kingdom”

 

“My dear,,,I don’t think you will be happy after you return to our Kingdom.”

 

“What do you mean?”

 

“I think you will have to leave that someone…Once you admit it there your wings will slowly bloom”

 

“That’s all I need to find true love then after that I can forget that I love someone”

 

“My dear it’s not a simple task…..” Tiffany cut her words

 

“That helps a lot!”

 

“My dear...You take care” she hugged her

 

“Neh Thanks Jessi”

 

END OF FLASH BACK


            Realizing the conversation, Tiffany thought of the last sentence Jessica told her before she cut her,,,

 

“Jessica, what do you mean by it,,, it’s not a simple task??”  she eyed the sleeping Taeyeon.

 

“If I admit that I love this human my wings will slowly bloom and I can go back to our Kingdom but what if she feels the same way too towards me…Jessi answer me please…answer me”

 

“My dear!” she heard her bestfriends voice agian

 

“Jessi,,, answer my question! Finish the sentence you are about to say to me that night!!”

 

“I pity you,,, The prince wanted you to feel the same way he feels when you reject his proposal and leave him, Once you fall for that human where you are so deeply attached you will have to leave her….you will hurt her feelings at the same time when you are on our kingdom you will be longing for her…The prince wanted your smile and your beauty to vanish”’

 

“So I have no choice?”

 

“You have…It’s either give up your wings but you will not able to come back our Kingdom and stay forever with her or You will admit that you love her, get back your wings, you will be back to our kingdom but in exchange you will have to leave her ,,I need to go back now,, League of elders set their eyes on me,,I will not be able to comeback, Oh there at the cabinet I put something for you, it’s a potion for you to be able to hide your wings…it will take effect right away if you drink it but it will last only for 8 hours…It’s to few because I used much of it…please use it wisely” the voice disappeared

 

Taeyeon always felt that Tiffany was spacing out and mostly deep on her thought, ever since the kiss. Now she was planning to confront her and confess to her, and then asks her what’s on her mind plus ask her if she feel something more than just liking her.

 

She back hugged Tiffany

 

“hey, what are you doing?”

 

“I want to say something”

 

“What it is?”

 

Taeyeon took a deep breathe and rested her chin on her shoulder, near her ear before she whispered

 

“I love you” she said softly and smiled that she finally had the courage to tell the angel wat she felt

 

Paralyzed

 

Tiffany was paralyzed to what she hear...

 

She was damn afraid to hear those words from her

 

 

            Hearing those words, Tiffany needed to face what she was afraid for,,, Taeyeon’s confession.. She planned to avoid any conversation about that thing but the time comes…she’s stuck, If she will not answer her, the latter will be hurt, but if she replies back and accept her love, there her long awaited wings will be back to her ans the sad truth that she will have to leave her.

 

“Tiffany! Please say anything!” …She gulps at the angel who did not want to respond on her…

 

“Do you feel something for me?” she asked again

 

“Taetae!” …the angel faced Taeyeon with her unsure look…

 

“I do feel the same but…”

 

“But what?”

 

“I’m afraid.”

 

“Afraid of what?...Just tell me if you love me….YES or NO!!” she asked her impatiently because the more she can’t have the answer the more anxious she felt that she will be rejected... shewas not totally aware that the angel had hard time replying because of her too

 

“YES!” Tiffany closed her eyes and said yes even if she did not wanted it...

 

 “I’m happy to hear it that you love me back.” Taeyeon felt so happy that the angel said yesto her..she hugged her tight

 

“Me too” the angel replied with a horse voice

 

“Are you crying?” She looked at her when she felt her shirt getting wet  

 

“Yes…show her eye smile while tears are falling

 

“MY TRUE LOVE IS YOU KIM TAEYEON”

 

“Ne…please don’t cry anymore” she tried to soothe her by rubbing her back but it just made her cry more

 

            Taeyeon and her innocent angel started to date, she always make most of her time with the angel,,, after work she immediately go back to the house where tiffany was waiting for her patiently…Though by now Taeyeon always left the angel at their house coz her wings started to sprout slowly…but she was confident enough that the angel will not mess up again like before....

 

On the other hand everytime Taeyeon went back home Tiffany never failed to show how much she love the other girl though at sometimes it made Taeyeon sensed that her lover have something bothering her even if she always tried to wear a sweet smile.

 

“My wings is almost develop…My time is near!” thought herself

 

“Why just look at me?” she give a peck on Tifany’s cheek

 

“I miss you a lot” she kissed the smaller girl’s lips  and showed her eyesmiles

 

“Ne..why being so sweet?”

 

“Why you don’t like it?!”

 

“NO..it’s just,, you don’t usually do that!”

 

“Can I not do that on you”

 

She pushed tiffany down to the sofa and lay on top of her “No…” she poked her nose

 

Tiffany wrapped her arms around her waist giving her a hug “What if I disappear suddenly?”

 

“Why suddenly ask?” she got curious to her out of the blue question

 

“please just answer it!”

 

“I will cry…” she honestly said

 

“What If I do!”

 

“Please promise me you will not leave me!” lay her head on Tiffany’s chest

 

            Silence surrounded the couple and only the music of the night can be heard, Taeyeon fell asleep and the angel wraped her with her wings to make her at ease…The long night is not over yet but the angel could not hide her sadness

 

“Taetae…I’m afraid, I cannot promise to stay with you forever” she whispered onto her ears and gave her a peck on her cheek

 

----- Saturday
            It’s past twelve in the afternoon when Taeyeon wakes up, she did not see Tiffany with her on the sofa but as she turn her head to the side she saw Tiffany standing with her wings as white as a snow, sparkles like a diamond and were fully bloom…

 

“fany your wings!” she happily said

 

“Yeah it’s developed already” the angel put up a smile on her face but deep inside she was sad and afraid that she will have to leave her soon

 

“It’s so beautiful” Taeyeon complimented as she walked towards her and touched her soft wings

 

“Let’s have a date!” Tiffany suddenly suggested to her, she said that because it was hertime to go back to the kingdom

 

“But you have your wings” Taeyeon was worried to agree on her suggestion because she had her wings with her,,, she did not want to take a risk

 

“Just go with me! Please I will tell you something” Tiffany pleaded grabbing the hem of her shirt like a kid

 

“Ok then I’ll go with you” well she could not resist the angel’s aegyo so she just agree but one thing she felt wrong, why behind her smiles their sadness within that she could feel inside...She felt nervous and worried all of a sudden

 

            Exactly 3:59 pm Tiffany drunk the remaining potion Jessica left for her and it immediately took effect, she could see her wings but when she approached her lover, her lover got confused though she did not explain anyfurther about how she made her wings disappear and quickly grab Taeyeon outside.  The two went out and have their date on the park; they ride a bike, try different rides, eat ice cream, stroll around and enjoying everything with Taeyeon’s camera, she captured every cute expression Tiffany had smiling, frowning, pouting, upset, confused it was all adorable for her.

 

The clouds turned to black with the stars shining on it and giving light to the darkness, Jiyeon could tell it is near so she took Taeyeon at the lake shore where they can view a big clock on the tower after they have their dinner. A place were people rarely been too

 

“Fany-ah,,,why is that animals seem to have their eyes on you?” being curious yet weird that the animals seemed to have their eyes set on them, no hers,  at the angel

 

“don’t be afraid…they are like that because they can see my wings”

 

“NE? but I don’t see them!” she checked out her back to look for her wings

 

“Well I think it’s because only animal creatures are those earth and our kingdom have in common!”

 

”we are here” They both stopped at the lake, the perfect spot for Tiffany to tell the truth

 

“OH…it’s beautiful with stars reflecting on it…and the moon it’s so big” Taeyeon was mesmerised at the place that looks like a paradise

 

“I’m glad you like it!”

 

Both stand still “Tae remember when I told you If I disappear?”

 

“Ne…you did not mean it right?” try to smile but she began to get nervous

 

“What if I d….” She haven’t finished her words when taeyeon cut it out

 

“STOP IT!!! Don’t continue it….Don’t joke around it’s not a good joke” she already got teary eyes

 

“Taetae please understand…” she held her shaking hands

 

 “You will leave me? Why you did not tell me?” She asked with her trembling voice and in tears

 

“Ne I try to but you don’t take it seriously!”

 

“Why now…when I’m deeply attached to you!”

 

“Sorry,, that’s why I’m trying to avoid you before because I don’t want you to confess to me…Because once you do,,,I will not able to reject it because I also love you,,,I can’t see you cry!”

 

“You should have rejected it…so It will not be like this…You will still leave me”

 

“No…I don’t have a choice…If I choose to be with you I will not be able to get my wings back and I will not be able to go back to our kingdom, on the other hand if I confess to you I will have my wings but I will vanish and to reject you,,,, I cannot stand seeing you in pain I’m so sorry”

 

“NO…Please don’t leave Fany..I can’t go on without you”

 

“Please lets spend my remaining time with each other…”

 

               It’s quarter to twelve only fifteen minutes left before the bell rings coming from the tower.

Sitting on the shore “taetae..it’s almost near” holding the latter’s hand tightly

 

“let’s capture a sweet picture of us”

 

            Both poses, Tiffany moved closer to Taeyeon there, their lips touches and then capture the sweet moment,,

 

“I want another one” Taeyeon wanted another one

 

“Ne!” tiffany gladly let her

 

            Taeyeon rested her head on Tiffany’s shoulder and captured another picture. She stood up and leave her camera on the shore making the angel confused with her actions…She headed to the lake.

 

“Taetae, it’s deep in there” the angel warned her not to go too far, Taeyeon stopped when her knees were underwater

 

Tiffany held her hands “Don’t go too far it’s too dangerous”

 

She faced Tiffany with tears falling “Fany-ah” she called sadly

 

“Ne..please don’t cry…You are making me cry too” the angel tried to soothe her but she too can’t stop herslef from crying

 

“Will I ever see you again?”

 

“I don’t know”

 

[2 minutes remaining]

They stared lovingly at each other’s eyes

 

“Those eyes, those lips, that cute nose and the whole you…I will miss” the angel said memorizing her features that shw will surely miss

 

“Tiffany I love you”

 

“Neh I love you too”

 

            Slowly her wings started to show up as the potion starts to fade away

[60 seconds remaining]

 

“Do a countdown”

 

“Taetae”the angel called and the latter looked at her sparkling eyes

 

“Just close your eyes and count” even if she did not want to she still did for her as she held the tears that threathened to escaped on her onyx orbs it did fall

 

She obeyed her “Five, four, three, two one”

 

            At exactly 11:59 pm,  Tiffany’s’s wing spread out widely giving a sparkling lights on the surrounding, she kissed Taeyeon’s lips immediately and both cherish their last kiss. Until the long hand of the clock ticks at twelve their the angel said her last words for her

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Tae-tae I love you”

 

 

Taeyeon opened her eyes but Tiffany already disappeared. She looks down to the water and saw her reflection, there she saw a white feather that as soft as cotton and as bright as a sparkling jewel. She pick it up and looked up the sky as she normally do…She went back to the shore and sat to the sand…She took her camera and look up to it…Her tears falls again as she look at the screen caps of the camera taken exactly 11:58 pm…At the last part, there she saw Tiffany’s wings widely spread open, glittering at the darkness, giving brightness to the dark surroundings while kissing her under the light of the moon.

 

 

 

 

 

"I'll wait for you Fany-ah"
