No longer a friend...?
Description
You hate being touched, the idea of moving, the presence of parks, and making new friends because of your cold past that leaves you alone and fearful. Day by day, you live your life quietly, trying to accept the sorrow within your heart. Until you move to China, where a young boy, Luhan, decides to turn that around and change your ways of solitude and anxiety into friendship and maybe…even love?
What is it about him that makes you yearn for his warmth? His hugs?
After finally giving into accepting Luhan as a friend and life’s hardships…are you really ready to accept his feelings for you? After all, you had just begun accepting friendships again.
But what happens when your father tells you, “It’s time to move” again?
Will this relationship stay platonic as you hope? Or…will everything crash, just like everything had before you met Luhan?
Foreword
~PROLOGE~
“You are going to love it here” chimed your mother.
“…you always say that” you murmured plugging in your earphones.
“Hm? What did you say darling?” your mother said pulling up to a stoplight.
“…I didn’t say anything” you said scrolling through your playlist.
It was your 2nd time moving this year, and you were sick of it! You knew your father was busy in his marketing business but really? AGAIN?
You let out a sigh walking towards the front gates. You used to be scared of walking to a new school, not because you were new, not because it meant being alone for a while; no. You were afraid of saying good-bye, it was painful. Having new friends was neat, but the idea of saying good-bye and never seeing them again was the worst feeling in the world.
Soon, you learned not to care anymore. People came…and people went. Who wanted to stay put and deal with you anyway?
No one ever did.

“Class, I want you to meet your new classmate! (Your Name & Last name)! Let’s be friendly and treat her well, ok?” the teacher said smiling at the class.
You kept your eyes on the floor and bowed, “My name is (y/n). I just moved here. Please treat me well”
It sounded so robotic, well, when you say a few times a year, it seemed as if words were nothing but empty promises anyway.
The classroom roared a “WELCOME (y/n)!” loudly, which startled you. You ended up dropping your bag to the floor.
That was new.
You blinked a few times as students chuckled and giggled at your reaction. You were bending down to pick up your bag when suddenly someone was already handing it to you.
You took the bag but raised a brow when it wasn’t given back. Ready to give the stranger a glare, you looked up and saw a handsome boy. His hair was black like the rest of the kids but something about his brown eyes twinkled at you.
You mentally slapped yourself when he smiled at you; a blush slowly creeping across your face.
“You dropped your bag” he spoke softly.
“T-thank you” you stuttered.
He chuckled and gave you back your bag. “You’re welcome” he said proudly.
“Oooh~Han’s got himself a new friend” a boy said loudly
“Hannie, why won’t pick up my stuff?” a girl complained cutely.
Other students chimed in to tease the boy called ‘Han’ but he stood there smiling at his classmates, denying nothing.
‘He’s different’ you thought hugging your bag.
A/N: I hope you like this preview. This story was inspired by a song called "Heads up" by Sam Tsui. At this point (being 14 chapters in now), my original story line had changed due to the building relationship between Luhan & You.
Thank you for taking the time to read this~~if you continue on, please leave me a comment ^_^ I'd like to know how you feel about the story ♥
