Jong Su and I made our base in that store room and we fought for it. Munchers broke through twice and people found us once, but we kept the place. After a few months of waiting, Jong Su decided they werent coming back for us. It took me longer to accept that. Maybe six moths after they left did I really start to dislike Ji Hwan and his group. Once a year passed I decided we were better off with out them. I hardly remembered him another year after that. Jong Su and I were fine. 

"You ready to go?" I grabbed my sharpened staff and nodded. "Stay by me and keep to the shadows. There is still that horde out there." I spoke fluent Korean and Jong Su spoke fluent English, so there was no barrier. There was nothing between us, nothing could get between us. 

He pushed the door open and I snapped the lock back on. We made no noise as we slid through the air port and were outside in minutes. The number of munchers fluctuated, but the past few days there wasnt many of them. We needed to go on a run and there was one part of the air port left to search. Hopefully there would be food. 

My eyes fell on the watch tower and Ji Hwan fell through my head. I almost missed him, but then I remembered how he left us behind. I turned my back on the tower and followed Jong Su back into the darkness. He memorized a map of the airport, apparently there was an underground warehouse that held all of the abandoned items from every flight. 

We found the door and it was slightly open. I knew what to do; set up, sweep, take down and take. 

I stood just inside the door and Jong Su waited outside it. Munchers were attracted to sound, so when I started banging on the door they would all come towards it. I had a mesh covering over me so they couldnt smell or see me and would keep going towards Jong Su. When they were mostly out he would slip in and kill the ones he needed to. Surprisingly none came. 

"Lets go." I hissed to him, but he shook his head. "You can wait if you want to." I took off into the darkness.

"Jong Su." I called out. I had gotten myself thoroughly lost and couldnt find him. "Jong Su!" The lights flashed on for a second, but that didnt help. All I saw was a canoe. It must have helped someone else though. 

Footsteps and scraping came from behind me. I had enough time to jump up and climb the shelf before it got to me. I couldnt see it very well, but it looked odd. Too bulky in the back and it was holding something. Was it? No, it couldnt be a human. 

"Hey." I whispered and it spun towards my voice. A flashlight clicked on, but he didnt find me. I pulled something over me and blocked the light. The light clicked off and a radio squawked. 

"Did you find her?" 

"No, but I thought I heard her." My body wet stiff and my breath caught in my lungs. "Jong Su said she was in here, but we may not find her." 

"If we have to, bring the brother in. She will mobilize for him." 

"I dont know sir, she will think he left him." 

"Well you didnt, she needs to see that. Find her and explain the situation. If you cant find her, get out. Remember you have till sundown tomorrow to get to Seoul." 

"I know sir. We will be mobilized by tonight." The radio died and I peered out. Sure enough, Su Hoon was standing feet away from me.
