Description
Every year of school is a pain in the . Everyone knows that.
But the last year is probably the worst, isn't it?
Three schools, all vastly different from each other with different pupils attending too, are preparing their students for their first step into the adult world. Northgate turns girls into intellectual ladies capable of handling themselves in later life. Eastgate provides lunch to the hopeless boys with a seemingly dull and dreary future. Westgate is a high-tech learning environment where foreigners are given priority and are also accepted by home students. Southgate has been closed down for a few years now.
Ara is preparing for her final exams, along with the other students in her year across the nation, but every student needs a bit of a break from studying and revising, don't they? It just so happens that Ara's friends find it in the Seoul nightlife of partying, smoking and drinking. The teens are in their kidulthood- the period before they transition from adolescence into adulthood.
Everyone is still trying to find themselves. Love is thrown around worthlessly. Fights break out left, right, and centre.
It's not long before things start to get even more complicated, the lives of the students she meets beginning to intertwine with her own, and soon Ara finds herself thrown into a new atmosphere with strangers she'll eventually become friends with, if not even more.

Yay! I'm back with another long fic~ why? because I can't get enough of school life stories and this has been on my agenda for AGES now. Expect it to be a long one! Yay! (And I'll warn you, I'm already thinking about the sequel for this story)
Kidulthood 100% is a story about the lives of 22 students at 3 different school and how their lives intertwine. I'm aiming to incorporate as many of the issues students at this age face as I can. There'll be smiles and tears, romance and angst, tugs here and there on your heartstrings and points where you'll just want to reach into the laptop and cyber-slap me (just don't hit me too hard).
I might have to add characters in during the story but out of the 22 characters listed above, 18 are involved in stories of their own. The other 4 characters are more like the supporting cast ^^And for those of you wondering, the story will be written in a You format. You are Kang Ara, a student at Northgate School for Girls and you'll have a nice lil romance, don't you worry.
Unfortunately, I've decided to go with the usual, overused, same-old-same-old personality characteristics for Zico and Kai. However, each character is given a twist and I hope that you'll find a place in your heart for every character in this story.
As for the 'OSTs', I chose 3 songs I thought fit with the storylines. They were chosen for both the feel of the melody and the lyrics. The songs are: Boogie On & On by Beenzino, Tonight by Spica and Something by Girl's Day. Take a listen, get a feel of the story? Jam along, maybe?

Ara has morals she will take to her grave. "How many times do I have to say no?!"
Seohyun keeps the balance. "It's not rocket science. You work hard, you play hard."
Jinhee cares more than anyone else. "How dare you do that to her! Who do you think you are?!"
Gayun tends to have her foot in . "I swear to God, I didn't mean anything by it!"
Zico is a genius hiding behind the mask of a delinquent. "I guess you caught me. Now what?"
Daehyun spends his time trying to decipher his friends. "For crying out loud, what have they done now?"
Kris is the golden boy with a big ego. "Enjoying yourselves ladies?"
Himchan is the golden boy's side line cousin. "Of course I'm bitter. No one looks at me."
Kai doesn't like thinking about the past. "It's been a while, hasn't it?"
Henry is trying to survive in Korea. "But... don't girls like aegyo?"
Chanyeol notices things others wouldn't. "I wonder what's wrong with her..."
Jae likes his best friend's twin sister. "Is your sister home?"
Junior hasn't got a clue. "Why?'"
Baekhyun is oblivious. '"She does?! Really?!"
Amber breaks her best friend's heart everyday. "Oh god... Am I a horrible person?"
Jiwon is clever but can't talk. "Oh God, I think I'm going to vomit.'"
Sulli has to deal with the stares. "Why do they have to look at me like I'm a freakshow?"
Krystal hates herself. "Please, let's keep this a secret."
