Jiyong lays down on his comfy bed as he looks up to the ceiling. He grabs his cellphone and looks at its screen. Nothing. No missed calls, no new messages. Remember when Taeyeon and he went to the beach? He has received no informations from his beloved friend ever since. Not even a simple message contains 'Hey, how are you?'. And it has been at least a week ever since he last seen her. Many questions keep appearing in Jiyong's mind. What if she got sick? Is she mad at him? And so on... But if she is really mad at him, what has he done to her? Jiyong feels like he has done nothing wrong.   Yeah, right.   And this poor guy has been trying to call her for these past few days. He even left more than 20 missed calls per day and sent more than 50 messages, and all of those messages were delivered. He got even more moonstruck because he tried to call her house once, and Taeyeon's little sister told him that Taeyeon did not want to speak to him. Jiyong asked her why, but she said nothing.   It has been days since Jiyong's call got ignored. Taeyeon pressed the red button every time Jiyong called her, instead of pressing the green one. Jiyong got panicked because now he really thinks that he really has done something unforgiven. Even though he still has no idea about how he did her wrong, he cannot stand this anymore. Not talking to Kim Taeyeon really makes his bad day gets even much worse.   So, he gets up and puts on his jeans. He goes to the garage and turns on his car. Even though she will get mad at him later on, at least he can say something to her.         *****         Kim Taeyeon's House 06.43 pm       Jiyong stands right in front of the gate while Taeyeon is standing right in front of him, but she does not have any intention to open the gate for this poor guy. Jiyong has the fear expression on his face and Taeyeon just looks at him with a morose face, giving more afraid to our scaredy cat. Or, in this case, 'scaredy Dragon'. Jiyong swallows down his saliva hardly while stealing a glance at her.   "Why are you here?" Taeyeon asks, with a sarcastic tone. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with this girl?   Jiyong sighs in desperation and confusion. "Taeng, what is wrong with you? You ignored all of my calls and messages for these past few days, it has been a week since we last talked, Taeng. I miss you, I miss my best friend. Why did you keep ignoring me? What did I do to you?" he raises his voice. Jiyong is clearly demanding for an explanation. He does not want Taeyeon to distant herself from him. That will break his broken heart even more.   Taeyeon sighs and looks at Jiyong's face. She clenches her fist and braces herself to look at him in the eye. "Jiyong" she utters his name. Taeyeon looks down as she feels hot water starts filling up her eyes. She never wants this, she does not want to do this. But, she should... "I think we need to.. Stop being friends"   Jiyong is stunned. He feels like his whole world is tumbling down. He just stands there with a pair of eyes wide opened. He feels numb at this point. He cannot say anything. His world has just been crashed.    "I'm sorry, Ji. I really am.." Taeyeon bows as she turns around. She cannot even look at him right now.    Jiyong grabs her wrist harshly. "Why are you doing this to me, Taeyeon?" he asks her, not tilting his head. "Why are you doing this to me? You told me that whatever happens, you would stand by me, that you would always stay beside me no matter what, that we are best friends for life.." he tightens his grip. "So, why? All of that was  just a bunch of lies? Tell me your reason"   "Let me go, you hurt me" she says, in a flat tone, still not even looking at the poor Jiyong. "Let me go, Kwon Jiyong" she says that again, and a sigh of relief escapes from as Jiyong lets her go. "I have no reasons. I just need a break. And honestly, I don't think this friendship will work in the future"   Taeyeon lets out a very heavy breath, her back is still facing Jiyong. She needs to be strong. For once in her life, she needs to think about her, not about everyone else. She has to think what is best for her, not what is best for the Dragon. She has known in her heart that whatever she does will never be enough for him. Everything she does will never make him fall head-over-heels with her. Taeyeon understands that she has no hope of becoming Mrs. Kwon Jiyong. Even if one day Jiyong decides to move on, the new girl will absolutely not her. She is cognizant of that.   So, she gives up.   Kim Taeyeon is giving up her hope.   She will never be Mrs. Kwon Jiyong.   Taeyeon starts walking to her front door, when she hears his mumble. "You promised me, Kim Taeyeon. You have promised to always be the bestest friend of mine.." Jiyong says in a husky voice. He tilts his head as he wipes his tears. He chuckles bitterly. "I just can't believe it, you know? I mean, you do know that I'm broken at this point. You know that I can just commit a suicide sooner or later. I have been struggling since she told me that she's getting married. I've been forcing myself not to cry, and honestly I can do that because I got you. Because I have you as a friend, and I don't want that 'have' turn to be 'had'" he swallows down his saliva as he takes a grip on the fence. "I have lost Tiffany, I probably will break Seunghyun's trust. And I don't wanna lose the most important person in my life. I don't wanna lose you, Kim Taeyeon" he raises his voice as he speaks again, "Then why are you doing this to me? Why are you torturing me as well? What have I done to you? Tell me why, Taeng. Tell me why"   "Because I love you, Kwon freaking Jiyong! And I hate the fact that I love you!" Taeyeon screams and she starts crying her heart out. She finally said it, she basically just screamed those words. Those words that she had hid for all this time. She finally could say those, out loud. "And I can't be your friend with this kind of feeling. I am not torturing you, Ji. You're the one who have always been torturing me, whether you realized it or not"   Taeyeon turns around to face him. Her face is full with tears. She steps forward, right in front of Jiyong, but still not opening the gate. "And I'm tired, Jiyong. I've reached my limit, my patience has limitation as well. And I'm mentally drained, and my heart aches even more every time I try to talk to you, even now it still hurts. I can't stay beside you, because it only will make my heart breaks even more than it has been. So, I decided to put an end to this. If I can't make you look at me, than it's definitely much better for me to just walk away from you. From your life and just.. Clear my mind"   Taeyeon sobs as she tries to wipe away her tears. It is embarrassing to cry in front of him, and to make it much worse, she cries while letting all of her feelings out. Taeyeon feels like she has lost all of her pride. Taeyeon wants to murder herself.   "Open the gate" Jiyong says calmly. "Please, open the gate. Please let me in" Jiyong keeps begging as Taeyeon keeps shaking her head. "Please, just this once. I beg you, just once. I promise, please.."    Taeyeon weeps as she slowly opens the gate and lets him in. She basically just stands there, like a statue. She takes a glance at Jiyong. Jiyong hugs her tightly straight away. Taeyeon gasps as tears fall down again.    Why the hell is he hugging her right now?   "Don't leave me, Taeng" Jiyong whimpers. "Please, I beg you. I'm truly sorry for hurting you, even though I didn't realize it. I'm sorry for being such a moron. But, please don't leave me. I need you" he hugs her tighter, not wanting to let her go, does not care even though Taeyeon keeps trying her best to break their hug. "I can't imagine my life without you, Kim Taeyeon. Please, please.." and he starts crying as he keeps begging and begging her to stay by his side. The Almighty Dragon has just lost all of his pride. Well, actually he can do nothing at this point, except begging Kim Taeyeon for mercy.   Now, he has finally realized that Taeyeon is the one who he needs the most. But, is that love? Honestly, Jiyong does not know the answer. He loves Tiffany, he really does. There is no way he loves Taeyeon as well, right? Or... His feeling towards Tiffany is just an obsession? He then lifts her up and swings her around in the air, making her scream in joyfulness. Taeyeon did not expect this. He then hugs her tightly again.
