Two years ago.

My world went blank and my life seemed like it has no direction anymore because Sehunniee left me. By remembering the promise Sehunniee told me, I managed to calm myself. I turned off the lights inside my room and stared outside at the bright stars, shining up in the sky. Sehunniee ... Sehunniee ... I kept on whispering his name. I really miss him so much. When I felt sleepy, I weakly walked towards the bed and fell asleep.

Four months passed since that night. Morning arrived and I immediately heard loud voices coming from the outside. I washed my face first at the bathroom before I went outside. Voices came from downstairs. I heard dad's voice. Fei and Jia ... they were crying. I heard other voices that aren't familiar to my ears. I was my butler Soo-man and I called him. He went to me immediately.

"What's going on?! Why is dad here?!"

"Young master, please don't go downstairs."

"But how about dad?! What's happening?! Please! I need to see what's wrong!"

Even though Soo-man tried to prevent me from going downstairs, I managed to get past him. I ran downstairs as fast as I could and my eyes widened from what I saw. Fei and Jia were endlessly crying. Dad was crying and kneeling to the three guys looking in their mid-30's. The three guys who were unknown to me were wearing a formal suit. The three noticed me and the bald one with facial hair smirked at me.

"Hey Mr. Lu! How about we take your son as a payment?"

"Please ... please ... not my son! I'll pay you next month! I promise!"

"But Mr. Lu ... I really want your son! Just look at his features!"

"Please! Don't take him with you!"

Of course, I am scared that morning. Fortunately, the three guys left sooner than I expected. I really thought they were going to take me. But what's going on? What is this payment they were talking about? Right after the three left my place, dad quickly stood up and Fei and Jia calmed down. Soo-man went downstairs and that's when dad told us something.

"Everyone! Please pack your things now! We will leave this place! Fei, Jia, thank you so much for taking care of my son. But I think it's time to say goodbye to you two since I don't have any more money to pay your work here. Soo-man, thank you also. Lu Han, pack your things now. We will go somewhere."

I tried asking him what is really going on but he ignored my question instead, he kept on telling me to pack my things. I did what he said. Few minutes passed and everyone was ready to leave the house. The house where Sehunniee and I met. The house where we shared fun moments. The house where ... our love towards each other was born. Fei and Jia went on their way and so Soo-man did. Dad and I were left behind. Dad helped me in carrying my things.

"Let's go. We'll take the bus."

And that's when I noticed that my car was not in my house anymore. I thought of asking him what's really going on but the much matured me prevailed. Of course, I stayed calm even though I was really scared that time.

Few minutes passed and we went out of the bus. We walked down the streets. It was a very hot day and sweat was all over my face. After we spent a few more steps, we stopped in front of an old and shabby apartment. We entered inside and dad talked to an old woman. Right after that, he called out me and we went inside a room.

"Lu Han, from now on ... we will live here."

"Dad! Please tell me what's happening to us!"

"Our business went bankrupt. Our shareholders pulled out their stocks from our company and joined another company. My son, I have nothing now. I sold our mansions, our cars and even our private plane! Tomorrow, I will start to find a buyer of your house. I need to sell it to pay our debts."

"Dad ..."

So that's what really happened. Even though I am a spoiled kid who can get what I want, I understood what happened that time. Dad was shedding tears that morning. I didn't know what to do. I placed my things at the bedroom which was very shabby. After that, the odor of delicious ramyun entered my nose and I quickly went out of my room. Dad was cooking two packs of ramyun. While we were eating the ramyun he made, I asked him again one more question.

"Dad, you mentioned earlier something about the company where our shareholders transferred. May I know the name of the company?"

"Oh. That amateur company! The company that took our shareholders and most of our employees at the same time ... I will make them pay! Kang Hyunsuk will pay! Kang Enterprises will pay!"
