No one's POV: 

"Alright mister" Minseok began as the two of them walked into Jongdae's house 
"What's going on?" he asked and Jongdae rolled his eyes 
"Nothing is going on" he replied but Minseok was not buying it 
"You're lying" he said 
"Why are you so worried about it?" Jongdae snapped, making Minseok jump a little at his sudden outburst. 

"Because something has been bothering you for a while and I want to know so I can try to help you" he said 
"But right now you're being really difficult and acting like a child so I don't know what to do" he added 
"I am not acting like a child" Jongdae said and Minseok raised an eyebrow; point proven 
"Alright then, how about you tell me who that guy was earlier?" Jongdae asked. 

"What guy?" 
"Oh I don't know, the guy who was holding your hand and hugging you?" Jongdae replied 
"You mean Kyoungjae?" Minseok asked
"So he has a name? Wait how about telling me how you know him first of all" Jongdae replied and Minseok frowned 
"Why are you so bothered about this?" he asked. 

"Because..." Jongdae replied but didn't finish it whilst Minseok rolled his eyes 
"He's my ex-boyfriend from America. But it's been five years since we saw each other and we're both over each other now" he said 
"Not by the way you two were acting earlier" Jongdae replied moodily 
"Is this what you're so caught up about? He said he still missed me bu-" Minseok began before Jongdae's eyes widened 
"He what?" he shouted, causing Minseok to sigh. 

"Look if you just listen h-"
"So that's why he was holding your hand? Hugging you?" Jongdae interrupted. There was no denying it now; he was jealous! 
"Calm down and let me e-"
"So now what? He's just going to try and slither back in there forgetting tha-"
"JONGDAE" Minseok shouted as the room finally fell silent and Jongdae glared at Minseok who shook his head.

"You know what forget it you're obviously too childish to listen to a simple explanation" he said
"I am not being childish" Jongdae Jongdae exclaimed
"No you're probably just tired and moody because you're getting ready for your trip to Singapore. So until then let's just" Minseok began before sighing 
"Let's just what?" Jongdae asked. 

"Let's just take a break so you can go to that stupid trip and get over the stress. When you get back we'll talk" Minseok replied and walked to the front door whilst Jongdae looked at him in disbelief... he didn't just say that... 
"Minseok please" he said, reaching for his hand but Minseok shrugged him away 
"Don't. Just... leave me alone until you get back from that trip" and with that left. 

It wasn't until Minseok was halfway down the motorway back to his house did he realise what he had done. He regretted it, but honestly thought the two of them needed this time apart or they would be at each others throats all the time! 
"Stupid tears" Minseok mumbled as he rubbed his eyes but the tears wouldn't stop welling in his eyes. At least they didn't start falling from his eyes until he was back in the safety of his home.

The weeks leading up to Jongdae's departure, neither spoke to each other. There were times where they were tempted to just go see the other but couldn't, they were on a break and they needed it. For the sake of both of them! At work, Chanyeol noticed a change in Minseok; he was less cheerful and was constantly checking his phone to see if there was anything only to have disappointment smack him in the fact. Chanyeol did not like this. 

"Has something gone on between you and Jongdae?" he finally asked one day 
"We... we're kind of going through a rough patch now" Minseok replied and Chanyeol nodded 
"Had your first big argument?" he asked and Minseok nodded slowly 
"Ah don't worry about it. Me and Baekhyun have plenty of arguments. Some more serious than others. You're going to have them every once in a while but that's what couples do" Chanyeol said, patting Minseok on the back before walking to his classroom.

"I guess so" Minseok muttered before walking to his class to set up for his lesson. Meanwhile Jongdae had just pulled up outside of the school and spent a few minutes staring at it. He was contemplating on going inside and seeing Minseok just once because it would be the last opportunity he would get to see Minseok before the trip. He wanted to go and at least say or do something... was he afraid to? No that's not it... at the last second he backed out of it and shook his head, driving back to his house so he could start packing whilst Minseok sat in his classroom waiting for his students and watching. 

Watching to see if his phone would light up with a call or a message, just one message, from Jongdae. But that never happened. 

Ohohoho if you guys think I'm being evil now wait until the next chapter!! 

*laughs evilly* 

Also for anyone who may be confused; Jongdae reacted the way he did because he's essentially jealous. Someone else he didn't know was holding his boyfriend's hand and hugging him... would you be jealous if you saw your partner doing that with someone you didn't know? Basically he misunderstood the situation like earlier in chapter 20 and a few chapters leading up to it with the Jaebeom stuff. Minseok suggest they went on a break so Jongdae could get over his jealous rage, go to Singapore and relax... but of course... you guys know me >:D
