This is the first of the many to come stories that I'm going to write to challenge myself.

I hope you enjoy! This story was quite a challenge to write because none of the important parts seem to come together well (because neither of the two are my biases and the song is a Christian worship song. I had to assume a few things.). Also, this is based off an anecdote a pastor from our school once told me during the days of the Japanese occupation in the Philippines.
