Chapter One: Please Like Me Back..

"I like you.." Seohyun said while looking down.

I stared at her, quite amazed.

It's the first time a girl would confess to me, a nerd. She must be mistaken.

"Y-You're kidding, right?..." I didn't know what to say..

"No, I'm not... I'm... serious.." She was still looking down, her hands gripping.

I continued in staring at her. 

My tongue wouldn't move. It's stuck. I can't say anything.

"U-Uh...." I idiotically said.

"Um, p-please.... like me back.." She said and stared at me.

"Joo Hyun... I..."

She quickly looked down again.

"I-It's ok if you don't want to like me back.." She nervously laughed.

I worriedly looked at her.

"I'm used to getting rejected... But that's a good thing, though, it's because my heart can't easily break..." She muttered: "Not like what he did to me.."

"N-No," She quickly looked at me again. I looked away, "I like you, but not in that, you know... I like you, as a friend."

Oh, way to go, Kibum. You had just rejected your first confession.

"O-Oh... I see then, you must have already someone you like... It's very ok to me. Atleast, I can stay quiet now." She weakly smiled.

"I should be going now, since my next class is already starting." She bowed and ran away.

Sigh, I'm such an idiot. I punched my own stomach.

I walked back to the classroom, thinking about that girl again.

Then, I bumped into someone.

"Ow! Watch where your going!" A girl's voice said.

I looked up and saw it was Sunny, my old friend.

"Eh? Kibum?" She asked. 

"Sunny. Why're you here? I thought you moved to America?"

"Yeah, I did. But I thought of visiting." She smiled.

Then, she started looking around.

"What are you looking for?"

She looked at me again and gave a nervous smile. "O-Oh nothing really~"

Then, I remembered she likes Sungmin, another friend of mine.

I smirked. "You know, Sungmin said to me that he misses someone."

"Really?" She jumped. "Who? Who? Who?"

I laughed. "Wow, you still like Aegyo King?"

She blushed. "N-No way! I just wanna see... Taeyeon! Yeah, Taeyeon!"

"Oh? Is that so? Did you know that Taeyeon is with Leeteuk now?"

"Really? Wow, that Jung Su. He really DID steal my Taengoo!" She started fakingly cried.

I laughed at her. "Man, seeing you, the real Aegyo Queen, had just cheered me up."

"Huh? Why? Did you and Yul had a fight again?"

I shooked my head. "Nah. It's just that, a girl called Seo Joo Hyun had just confessed to me.

"Wait, Seo Joo Hyun? I know that girl!" 

"Really?"

"Yeah. She's one of my bestfriends in America."

"But why is she here?"

"Well, her dad said she wanted to master her Korean, and wanted to see her cousins."

"Oh. Then, is she good at english?"

She nodded. "She's like Sica & Fany. REALLY good at english." 

I nodded in response.

Then, the bell rang.

"Oh, I gotta go to my classroom now." I said to her.

"Oh, 'kay then. See ya later, Snow White!" She jokingly said.

"Bye, Aegyo Queen." I then waved goodbye and walked to my classroom.

After school, I met with Yuri, who planned on telling me something in the Gym.

"So, what's up, Yul?" I asked her, my hands in my pockets.

She was turning red, and when she does, she's angry. 

"Wait, did I do something wrong?"

She shooked her head then turned away.

I stared at her, and for some seconds, she finally talked.

"Kibum, listen, if you I tell you this, promise me you won't stop being my friend, ok?"

I nodded.

She inhaled, then, she finally said. "I like you!"
