Donghae's blood rushed through his veins. It was now official and all his doubts and fears came true. He's been waiting for this phone call since the inspector told him they are starting with questioning. His heart was now at place and he was now sure Jinae was resting in peace, now when the truth is out.

"Thank you for calling Mr Choi." Donghae whispered, rubbing the back of his neck. 

"You will have to testify against him on his trial, the same goes for Miss Jung. Also, she will have to come to the station and we have to talk to her. I know it's too early but we need to hear her side. " the inspector explained professionaly. 

"Yeah, I know. Fine, she'll come. She's resting at home so she will be okay for tomorrow."

"Alright. Thank you Mr Lee. Good night." the inspector hung up. It was 1 in the morning and Donghae was lying in his bed, not being able to sleep because all of the things that were going on. He was expecting the inspectors' call and he didn't care what time will be and the other thing bothering his mind was Jessica. After what the inspector told him he felt relief in a way but still worried and sad because of Jessica and the fact that Jinae could still be alive if it wasn't for his brother. He was mad at himself, at Aiden and he felt useless but in a way it was all finished. Jinae could now rest in peace and Aiden won't be able to hurt anyone, especially Jessica. He stared at the white ceiling after the phone call and the tears started to float by themselves. His brother was officialy Jinae's killer and he was now far away from him, for good. He almost ruined his new chance to love again and it was on Donghae to make Jessica fall all over again for him, now with a calm heart.

He cried in silent, he didn't knew for how long until he finally fell asleep.

The alarm clock ringed, waking Jessica up. She had a good night sleep after talking with her sister. She glanced at the window and noticed how beautiful it was outside. She liked to wake up seeing the sun outside, making her mood better from the beginning. She came downstairs, seeing her parents in the kitchen, preparing breakast.

"Good morning honey, did you sleep well?" her mother smiled to her, putting warm and fresh coffee on the table.

"Yes I did, thank you." Jessica smiled back."Soojung is still sleeping?" 

"Yes, go and wake her up. Breakfast is ready, oh yeah and you have to go to the police station around noon. The inspector called us a while ago." 

Jessica nodded and went to Krystal's room seeing her peacefully sleeping. She remembered what she told her about Taemin and couldn't help but to smile how adorable she was when she talked about him. She carefully approached her bed and gently shook her to wake her up. After a few shakes, the younger girl opened her eyes. She rubbed her sleepy eyes and smiled at her sister.

"Good morning sleepy head, breakfast is ready." Jessica said. Krystal slowly got up and followed her sister down stairs to eat. The atmosphere was warm and nice, making Jessica feel really happy and safe. She was still a bit worried about today. She really didn't want to face Aiden at the moment but she was happy to help with her testimony. Donghae popped in her head again and the butteflies activated again in her belly. She wanted to see him together and to talk to him, alone. 

"Jessica, hello!" Krystal's voice interrupted her thoughts. Her sister had a playful smirk on her face, knowing about who she was thinking.

"Hm?" Jessica blinked a few times, confused.

"I asked you if you want me to accompany you to the station today?" Krystal repeated her question.

"No, there is no need, you are busy today. Mom and dad will go, right?" she glanced at her parents who both nodded. She again focused on Krystal giving her the look.

"Oh, um, yeah, I do." she nervously giggled and continued with her meal. She couldn't help but to smile at the thought of Taemin and her confession to him. The talk with her sister last night helped her a lot and she was again really happy after a long time. 

"Mom, dad, I would like you to drive me to Donghae's place after we're done with the police." Jessica asked.

"Oh, sure, and why is that?" her father couldn't help to ask, getting a glare from his wife who know what was all about. She always supported her daughter's relationship with Donghae just like Jessica's father and they both completly adore him. She was happy to hear that Jessica wanted to spend time with him and she thought that will help her recover.

After a nice breakfast, Jessica got ready and drove off to the station with her parents and Krystal went to meet Taemin. Jessica felt a weird feeling as they entered the station and constantly looked around just in case Aiden wasn't around.

"Honey, don't worry, you're safe." her mother assured her after seeing how scared she was. The inspector was waiting for them in his office.

"Hello Miss Jung, Mr and Mrs Jung, how are you?" he welcomed them with a bow.

"Hello Mr Choi, we're fine thank you." Jessica's father replied accompanied with his wife and daughter who was close to her mother, showing fear in her eyes.

"Miss Jung, you don't have to be scared, Aiden is in cell and ou won't see him. We called you so you can tell us your side of the story." he explained calmly with a light smile. Jessica smiled back and nodded, feeling relieved.

"Follow me to the room, please." he said and walked out, followed by the three of them. Her parents stayed outside and Jessica and the inspector went inside. On the table was a glass of water and a little bag with colorless liquid and a lot of pictures.

Jessica sat down, noticing the pills and recognising that it's the one Aiden use to give her and caused her memory loss. The pictures were showin parts of the aparment where she stayed and there was a picture of a young girl. She had dark hair and she was really pretty. It was strange to Jessica because she is seeing this girl for the first time.

"Well Miss Jung can you tell me for start what do you first remember about Aiden?" the inspector started.

"I remember that he threated me with a knife and that's all I can remember from that day. Later on I woke up in a completly white room with a tube in my arm and it was this medecin." she pointed at the bag and then continued. "Aiden came a bit later and he told me not to be scared, that I'm safe with him and conviced me that Donhae hurt me and that he saved me from him." 

The inspector carefully listened and took notes. He was stunned how Jessica remembered the drug he gave her. He nodded in a sign for her to continue.

"I lived believing Donghae actually hurt me. Aiden was really kind to me, telling me that I'm special to him and that he loves me. But one day I felt so sad and depressed that even his words couldn't help me." she explained.

"Do you remember when?"

"It was October 8th. I had such a weird feeling and I cried for the whole day." she said sadly. 

"Do you remember anything about Dongae?" 

"No, but I can tell you that I feel weird around him, but in a good way I guess." she admited with a smile. The inspector found it very cute and couldn't help to smile at her. 

"Well I hope you will remember him and I wish you all the best Miss Jung." he said and shook her hand. He was really satisfied because this case finished in a good way but he was also sad because of Jinae who was killed.

"Thank you very much inspector. Can I just ask you, who is this girl?" Jessica pointed out at the picture of the pretty girl. 

"Oh, yes, I wanted to ask you about this girl, but by your asking, you don't know who she is. It's Ah Jinae, Donghae's girlfriend." he explained to her.

"D-Donghae has a girlfriend?" she asked confused and dissapointed. Why would he keep that as a secret and not tell her. Then she remember his confession to her and felt even more confused.

"She was killed 6 years ago. Aiden killed her in his car, actually he hit the other car on purpose." he said with a sad expression. essica was shocked and continued to stare at the picture of the girl. Her smile was bright and wonderful and the fact that she was dead caused electric shock in her spine.

She tried her best to remember the name, something was telling her that she knows who she is, but a clear picture wasn't coming to her head. She felt sad about this and shocked that Aiden was capable of commiting a murder. She thought of Donghae and how he felt in that time. 

"Okay, I won't upset you Miss Jung. You did a great job and you helped us a lot." the man said, trying to caught ther attention. She glanced at him and forced a smile. 

"Thank you once again." she said and left the room. Her parents waited for her and couldn't help to see that Jessica's face showed worry. 

"Honey, is everything okay?" her mother asked. 

"Aiden killed Donghae's girlfriend mom." she said in shock, struggling with tears. Her parents exchanged shocked looks. They knew about the tragedy but they didn't knew that it was Aiden who did it.

"Please drive me to his aparment." she said quietly. Her parents nodded and did as she wanted. The drive was quiet and Jessica tried her best not to cry in front of her parents because she didn't want to worry them.
They drived in front of his, actually her and his apartment and Jessica said her goodbye's to them and quickly rushed out. 

She ringed the bell, feeling nervous and excited. The butteflies were again there and her heart was beating like crazy. She felt how her eyes were teary and how she was on the edge to break down. After a few seconds, Donghae opened the door, surprised to see Jessica here. He looked horrible with dark circles under his eyes and he was tired. He smiled seeing Jessica and she couldn't control herself and hugged Donghae as tight as she could.
Donghae felt like in heaven. He was surprised b the hug but he was complete now. He missed her so much and this hug made him feel alive again. Her scent was still the same, she didn't change a bit. He enjoyed every second of the hug as his hearbeat grew stronger.

She broke the hug, placing her hands on is sholders. Her teary eyes and his tired ones met. Donghae got worried seeing her like that, on the edge to cry.

"Jessica are you okay? Did something happened?" he asked. Jessica couldn't hold it in anymore and she burst into tears. Donghae pulled her in a hug once again, letting her cry her all out. He her soft orange hair calmly, relaxing her. He walked her to the living room and sat down with her in his arms.

"I just found out about J-Jinae." she said between sobs. Donghae's eyes widened in shock as he remained silent. His throat wnet completly dry as he felt like crying too. 

"Jessica, I-"

"I can't even describe to you how sad I am. Losing someone so important is so hurtful and I can't imagine through what you've been Donghae. I saw her picture at the police station and she really looks like an angel." she said removing her tears, now looking at him. He couldn't believe his ears and he was still staring at her, dumbfounded.

"I-I went through all of it because of you Jessica." he managed to say, remembering how she helped him fight the sadness and make him love all over again. She gave him a confused look and that part hurt him because she couldn't remember all the happy times they had. She now remained silent as she listened to Donghae's words.

"Do you remember how we met? It was raining heavily and I asked you about the building where I supoused to live and it seemed to be yours too. You looked so beautiful with your orange locks, wet from the rain and your shining eyes. And your smile? It was the most beautiful thing I've seen for a long time. Just like Jinae's. We became friends and I told you about Jinae and my pain and you helped me. Jessica you saved me and wake my heart up. You made me love again." he said with a sweet and kind voice. Jessica's heart was beating like crazy as looked at his dark and pretty eyes, finding someone she knew from before. The rainy day, the meeting, it was coming back to her. 

He was slowly approaching her, each second more closer. She didn't feel scared of him and it's like she knew him from before. She relaxed and put all her trust in him. He cupper her wet cheeks and now was an inch away from her. She could feel his warm breaths on her skin, causing her to shiver. Finally his soft lips met hers giving her a warm feeling in her belly. Thise lips, she knew them from before. Those sweet, soft lips belonged to her before and now, she was tasting them once again. 

After breaking the kiss, they stayed close, with their noses touching each other. She couldn't help but to smile at the kiss, feeling how her cheeks were turning red. She was happy and he was too. He waited for this moment for so long and couldn't get enouch of her lips. He stole one quick kiss again, making her giggle and blush even harder.

"I'll do everything to win you again Jessica Jung." he whispered, caressing her red cheek.
