"You go ahead. I have to wait for ChanYeol because we will buy clothes for the Prom---"

"What?! ChanYeol finally asked you to be his date?"

"No. Umma thinks I should buy now because he'll be buying a suit tonight." Ri Na frowned, realizing that ChanYeol will never ask her to be his date for the Prom. She sighed inwardly, sitting on the bench near the school gates.

"Oh..." Eun-Ji gave her best friend a sympathetic look, patting her shoulder for comfort. "Don't worry. ChanYeol will ask you one of these days."

Ri Na let out a bitter smile. "Probably after the Prom."

"Hi, girls." Kai, one of ChanYeol's friend greeted the two of them. He sat down next to Ri Na and placed his arm over her shoulder.

BaekHyun feigned a cough, on his side was ChanYeol, taking note of Kai's gestures towards his 'girl'. "Kai, you're invading Ri Na's privacy. Take your arm off her."

Ri Na smiled innocently at BaekHyun as she wrapped her arms around Kai's waist, making him widened his eyes at the sudden interaction. "It's alright, BaekHyun-oppa. I don't have a boyfriend who will get jealous, anyway." She eyed ChanYeol, seeing his eyes looking away and it made her frowned. I told you to give up, Jang Ri Na. ChanYeol doesn't care if you have a boyfriend or if you're available for him. Her mind said to her, pulling away from her hug towards Kai.

"I thought you and ChanYeol are going to buy clothes, Ri Na? I think you two should go now, right guys?" Eun-Ji asked and the guys nodded their heads, agreeing.

Ri Na picked up her bag and silently leads the way, ChanYeol trailing behind her, silent as well.

Ri Na stared at her reflection on the mirror, flattening the skirt of her dress with her hands. She let out a breath, contented about how she looked now after trying out ten designs that ChanYeol laughed at. She frowned, remembering how ChanYeol cracked a laugh seeing her in those dresses a few minutes ago. She thought that all the dresses she tried on are pretty but her best friend insisted that she should wear a simple one. "I'm going out."

"Alright." ChanYeol replied, he was sitting on a couch outside the dressing room. A small smile appeared on his lips, excited to see Ri Na and expecting she would look more pretty. Well, to ChanYeol, Ri Na looked pretty in all dresses she wore a while ago but he wanted to see more of her. He wanted to see a simple Ri Na, with such stunning beauty. He wanted her beauty to stand out not because she was wearing an elegant dress.

Ri Na went out of the dressing room, wearing the white simple dress ChanYeol had picked for her.

And ChanYeol felt his heart skipping its beats.

"W-What?" Ri Na blushed in light pink, her brows are furrowing at ChanYeol being silently staring at her. Little did Ri Na know was that ChanYeol is left speechless. Ri Na rolled her eyes, turning her back on ChanYeol when he spoke in a breathless manner.

"It's perfect."

Ri Na suddenly stopped, glancing at him with doubtful eyes. "Jinjja?"

ChanYeol stood up, a small smile slowly appearing on his face. He placed his hands on her shoulders, turning her towards the mirror. "You look perfect, Ri Na."

Ri Na saw their reflections on the mirror, making her smile too. With ChanYeol's touch on her, she felt her heart starting to beat fast and how she wished this moment would never last.

ChanYeol glanced at his side, seeing Ri Na's sleeping face on his shoulder. His eyes traveled on her closed eyelids, to her nose down to her slightly apart lips. He blushed a little, looking away outside the window as his heart starts beating fast again.

He really love this girl.

And he's going to ask her to the Prom. Well, later.
