I felt my whole body start to get weak. but the grip of my phone only strengthened

"What?" I asked as my tears threatened to fall

"Mirae-yah, you need to be quick, please," Jemie said as the strongest girl out of all them started to break down over the phone

"H.How, how in the world..." I started but something got caught in my throat that I couldn't continue any further

"Please Mirae-yah, hurry," Jemie said before she hung up the phone.

With my hands shaking from the news, I grabbed my cardigan and my car keys before heading out the door. While I was driving, I couldn't have a clear head as tears covered my eyes and my hands wouldn't stop spazzing out. Cars honked passed me but I didn't care. I sighed heavily as I felt a heavy weight on my chest from the beginning of the trip but the pain started to grow.

I jerked my car to the side of the road as I needed some air before I continued. I got out my seat and drunkily walked to the sidewalk before I landed on the floor.

Tears covered my cheeks and eyes but no sound came out, the tears explained my sorrow and grief

"Mirae?" I heard someone call but I didn't even bother looking up

"What's going on? Are you okay?" the man asked but I still didn't respond as I was lost in my world of darkness and pain. However, the man lifted my chin, making me have eye contact with him

"Kai," I muttered bitterly before I crashed myself onto his shoulders and letting my tears on him, not wanting to hold onto the pain on my own

"Let's get you in the car," he said and held me by my shoulders as I didn't have enough strenght to help carry myself. He sat me in the seat next to the driver and I closed my eyes when I felt him get in on the other side

"Where do I need to take you?" he asked carefully as he put on my seatbelt for me

"Seoul...hospital," I muttered before I felt another tear drop onto my lap. He didn't ask any other questions and only drove to my designated destination

He the music in my car all of a sudden, but it only made me feel more lost in my tears as the songs were a playlist of my favorite ballads. 

My shoulders shook as my tears turned into sobs but I didn't dare look in Kai's direction because I didn't want to know his reaction nor did I want him to see me like this. With my back turned towards him, I had my eyes still closed as my sobs was in rthym with the soft melodious guitar.
