Daughter lolol

A little girl of about five, with her dog doll named ‘Brownie’ tucked in her arms, bobbed her head to the music in the car, humming the tone of the

song. She had opened the radio a few minutes ago in hopes of hearing the voice of her favorite singer. Luckily for her, her hope was granted.

On the other hand, her father was none too pleased with the song. The voice of the woman just brought back some painful memories from the past.

Unable to tolerate the voice of the singer and her aching heart any longer, she gripped the steering wheel tightly and calmly ordered her daughter,

“Yoona, please turn off the radio.”

But the little girl shook her head. “I’ll turn it off after the song’s done, appa,” she replied cheerfully, still enjoying the music.

Knowing how her daughter could be so stubborn - a trait that she inherited from a certain someone, Yuri came up with the only idea that her child

will never reject, although doing the said idea will surely disheartened Yuri. With no choice, she offered, “I’ll tell you something about her if you

turn the radio off.”

Yoona wasted no time and hastily complied with her father’s irresistible offer. Embracing her Brownie, she turned her full attention to her appa, her

ears perked up.

Yuri briefly glanced at the child before returning her eyes to the road ahead, and swallowed hard. “She used to brush your hair with her fingers as

you sleep.”

Yoona slightly gasped as her fingertips gently grazed over the strands of her hair, imagining the motherly hand running through her hair.

“You know… she once had a bushy eyebrows just like yours,” Yuri recalled.

The little girl’s eyes sparkled with astonishment, a smile forming on her lips. 

“I told her I love it, but she insisted to change it,” Yuri explained before releasing a sigh. It had been years, but it still stung. “Then after that, a lot of

things changed about her, too.”

Yoona felt sad seeing her father’s face became gloomy. She was about to ask what those changes are, but without her noticing, the car came into

a halt.

Yoona was in the department store’s music section, searching intensively for a certain album that she saw from a newspaper, while her father went

to the book section. A square-shaped, red object in the display shelf instantly caught her eyes. She has been waiting for its much-awaited release, and

now that the object was now in her grasps, it only felt so surreal.

She stared intensely at the music album in her hands; her eyes shone with delight, slightly parted in a gasp of awe and amazement. She

looked at it with so much longing. No, it’s not the actual album that she longed for… but the brunette woman who was in the cover.

“Wow…” She breathlessly marveled as her finger traced the outline of the brunette’s face. The woman was astoundingly gorgeous.

After spending 10 minutes of admiring the brunette’s features, the little girl cradled the album in her right arm with Brownie in her left. She quickly

made her way to her father with a big smile plastered on her face.

“Appa?” She tugged the hem of her father’s T-shirt.
