Episode 5

 “Bomi!”

Bomi suddenly turned around when she heard someone shouted her name and saw that it was just her bestfriend Eunji.

“oh?Hey there Eunji” she waved her hand to the panting girl in front of her “why are you in a hurry?”

Eunji was still panting and was leaning on her knees for support “wait!let me breath first” she drew in a deep breath then stood up straight “Bomi! I need to tell you something really important!”

“what is it?”

‘should I tell her about  it? Or should I let Hoya tell it… but what if she would hear it from other students?’ she looked at Bomi who is obviously waiting for what she is gonna say ‘okay Eunji… make a decision… she’ll be hurt I know, but she needs to know this’ she swallowed an imaginary lump in before talking

 “Bomi, you need to know this but please don’t freak out, I’m doing this because I’m your friend and I don’t want you to be hurt and besides the whole campus is talking about this so I think you have the right to know BUT PLEASE PLEASE don’t think I am interfering with your life-“

“yah Jung Eunji what is it?”

Eunji blinked ‘here goes’ “Everything that you think is real is actually a mbeaht”  before she could spill it, a hand covered

“Hey Bomi” Sunggyu smiled still covering eunji’s mouth

Bomi looks confused but still smiled “err hey there gyu”

“mbimimwasmamet”  what came out from Eunji’s mouth were just murmurs because sunggyu’s hands were still covering

“we need to go now..bye” sunggyu said while dragging eunji who is still trying to remove his hands away from

“but eunji wants to tell me something” Bomi shouted at sunggyu

“for sure it’ll be just some nonsense rumors…bye” he said as he kept on dragging the girl away

“that’s weird” bomi scratches her head

“Yah!Bomi deserves to know this!” Eunji said the moment she got rid of sunggyu’s hands

“I know, but please let Hoya do the talking”

“and then what? Just look at bomi being talked by the students and I, her friend would pretend that I don’t know anything?”

“all I’m asking is just for you to keep quiet first… even Hoya doesn’t know about what’s happening in the campus right now”

“I don’t care about Hoya!”

“well, I do! I’m his friend”

“you should have thought of that before offering a bet!”

“it was supposed to be only for fun!”

Eunji snorts and put her hands on her hips as she approach sunggyu “fun? What do you think of my friend? A clown? A mascot? A toy?”

“that’s not what I mean eunji”

“then what?!”

Sunggyu was lost of words he knows he can’t defend himself and Hoya

“ I am so disappointed with Hoya and specially with you Kim Sunggyu” Eunji glared at Sunggyu before leaving him.

Bomi felt uneasy while walking to the hallway for students are whispering at each other while glancing at her “why are they looking like me like that?” she murmurs

‘tss! I knew it!he  doesn’t love her’

‘stupid girl believing that he actually likes her?’

‘poor girl…she’ll be dumped anytime soon’

Bomi looked around and all eyes are on her so she decided to get inside the girls’ comfort room. She faces the mirror “ they are not actually talking about me, are they?” she tilted her head “besides, why would they talk about me?” she just shrugged her shoulders then went inside to one of the cubicle when she heard group of girls coming inside the comfort room while mentioning her name

“Bomi is so stupid! She really believed Hoya loves her when in fact it was just a bet”

“a bet?” Bomi leaned her ear closer to the cubicle door to hear everything

“I know right? But I think she’s lucky because Hoya and his group chose her to be the victim”

She heard them laugh “you’re right, aish! Hoya oppa should have chosen me! I’ll be a willing victim”

“Puhlease! They chose Bomi because she’s a weirdo and nerd…and ugly! We are so out of the list to be the victim… we are not like her”

Bomi’s tears are rolling down her cheeks as she listens to the girls’ conversation outside “so it was all a lie?” her knees are starting to go weak “why? Why would Hoya do this? No.. it’s not true…it is not true” she felt her phone vibrate and saw a text message from Hoya

‘Bomi! Where are you? Don’t listen to what everybody say, understand? Wait for me first, i’ll explain everything’

“I thought you’re different lee howon, but you’re just like them! Oh my God! Why did I even believe you” she said between gritted teeth, she did not mind if she is sitting on the floor for her knees felt so weak that time. She hugged both her knees and cried herself out, she did not mind if her phone keeps on ringing all she wanted to do was just to cry and think.

“I can’t find her” Sungyeol said while panting

“she’s not answering her phone” Hoya said while dialing Bomi’s number again

“she won’t answer that… she probably heard about the bet” sunggyu commented

“I’m sorry…It was my fault” Dongwoo shyly spoke

Sunggyu patted his head “it’s no one’s fault! All we can do right now to help Hoya is to find Bomi”

“what are you gonna do about it?” Eunji asked Bomi whose eyes are starting to get watery again. They are now at the rooftop. Eunji found Bomi inside the comfort room and started comforting her. She dragged Bomi to the rooftop for some fresh air and of course to talk.

Bomi gave Eunji a bitter smile “I don’t know anymore… I’ll just forget about this, it’s not like it’s new to me, people making fun of me, pft! I’m used to it”

Eunji pulled her into a hug “I’m sorry, you don’t know how sorry I am right now. It was me who forced you to believe to Hoya that he doesn’t have any hidden agenda for befriending you, I’m sorry! Really!”

“not your fault eunji, don’t be sorry” Bomi said and wiped Eunji’s tears “All I have to do is go home, take some rest and forget everything and tomorrow, the old Bomi is back” she smiled but eunji knows Bomi is still hurting.

“Yoon Bomi” both of them whipped their head and saw Hoya walking towards them followed by his 3 friends

Bomi thought she already cried all her tears out, but when she saw Hoya, all the pain started coming back again and so as her tears “please Lee Howon… just please don’t bother explaining anymore”

Eunji and his 3 friends left them because they know, both of them need to talk privately.

Hoya wanted to touch Bomi, but she stepped back “please Bomi listen to me first”

“No! I don’t want to hear anything from you”

“just let me explain!”

“I don’t want to hear any of your lies anymore, you already lied to me and I, the foolish bomi actually believed it! So I think it’s enough” she walked away but Hoya grabbed her arm

“I love you Yoon Bomi” he said looking directly at bomi with pleading eyes.

‘I wanted to believe you, but I just can’t’

Bomi smirked “wow! You can pass as an actor, I almost fell for it” she removed hoya’s hand and continued walking straight to the door “oh by the way, congrats! You won!”

It’s been a week since ‘that’ day happened and the student seemed got tired talking about it, but Bomi still refuses to talk with Hoya. In that one week , everybody knows how hard Hoya tried just to be able to talk to her, but still no progress. Hoya and his friends are now at the bar drinking. Well, it was only Hoya who is drinking for the others are just watching him sober and listens to his every word.

“Thanks sunggyu hyung! If not because of you I would not meet bomi and know her… thanks to that bet but now…she hates me and won’t even let me explain…I might as well just die” Hoya said as he drink his beer.

“you said that a million times already, now can we kill you?” Dongwoo commented and received a nudged from sunggyu

“I saw her with that chanyeol guy again” he lazily put his arm around sungyeol “maybe she love that guy now”

“what if she does?” Hoya glared at sunggyu and grabbed his collar but sunggyu just stood still and Sungyeol have to pull hoya away “Hoya! Stop it you’re already drunk! Let’s go home” he and dongwoo dragged him outside the bar

“I still want to drink!”

“You have enough for tonight!” sunggyu shouted

“I’ll drink till I die!”

“oh? You want to die?” he punched hoya’s face so hard and the sober easily fell down to the ground “that might help”

 “Hyung! Why did you do that?” Sungyeol angrily asked Sunggyu

when Hoya was about to fight back, Dongwoo stopped him by grabbing his waist

“I just want him to wake up! You want to kill yourself just because of a girl? Huh?”

“He is not just a girl hyung! And you know that! I LOVE HER!”

“LOVE?” Sunggyu laughed “if you love her then go fight for her and don’t be a sober! And stop complaining everytime you see her with that chanyeol”

“but he won’t even talk to me!”

“and you are giving up? That is so not like you Hoya! If you give up that easily, then might as well just die” then sunggyu walked away.

Hoya angrily removed Dongwoo’s hands from his waist and started walking to the other direction

“Hey!” dongwoo wanted to comfort him but was stopped by sungyeol “let him be alone now”

“Sunggyu Hyung has a point… he is not actually angry at me… he is just putting some sense into my head” he smiled then started running. He made a mental note to thank Sunggyu hyung tomorrow.

it took me a very long time to update..SORRY!!! well.. here's an update ^^ let's just say my late christams gift for you all :) anyway this chapter is boring.. i did not prof-read it,

and to be honest i did not have any writer's block..just 'fligh of ideas' you know,when i want to delete a chapter and edit and and put another chapter..something like that..even I, can't understand myself XD

I'll be updating chapter 6 tomorrow...or maybe later.

there is a in the next chapter,it's my first time writing a , so bear with me XD and i'm thinking of deleting some '' scenes because....just because....maybe others are not comfy (?) done writing the ep.6
