The next day, I was sitting in my office doing an article about the last fashion show in Paris that I attended last weekend with my boss Melinda and daydreaming about last night’s perfect anniversary dinner and gift that Kris bought me when Tao came in holding a newspaper in his hand and a puzzled expression on his face:

_what’s wrong Tao? You look like you’ve seen a ghost!

On the first page of the newspaper was an article with a huge title saying:” a suburban family of 4 cruelly murdered in their own house” and under it was a picture of the victims. My heart skipped a beat as I was staring at that picture and I felt the breath knocked out of my chest, my eyes were open wide and a cold chill ran down my entire body. The photo was familiar to say the least, the family smiling at the camera and holding each other lovingly, it was the exact same picture I found in Kris’s drawer last night!

I snapped out of my daze and took a deep breath as I read the article: two little boys between the age of 10 and 13 were found dead along with their parents this morning in their household in West Hollywood L.A. the Maid came in at 8am to find bloody little footprints leading to the boys’ room.
