Kill or die
Before the DawnRemember when I said I wasn't afraid? I lied.
I'm terrified.
I had to act fast, or else I would be dead in no time.
For a split second, my mind went back to Tao, and I wondered if he got my text, maybe he is on his way. But I soon pushed those thoughts away, focusing on what's ahead. I can't afford to wait for anyone, and stalling Kris is clearly not going to work anymore. Time to take matters into my own hands, litteraly.
With slow, agonizing steps, Kris made his way back to me, and I had to run. Pushing mu body away from that wall I was glued to for so long, I ran to the counter, standing on the opposite side of Kris. It didn't help much, but at least I was no longer cornered and helpless. I tried to reach for a knife, but the bastard was faster than me, and pushed all what was on the counter on the floor right next to him. .
Now what? I was unarmed, helpless, and I clearly had no experience in killing people, unlike The 10 feet monster standing in front of me, holding a knife, if I might add. I tried to think of a way to defend myself, but he didn't leave me a lot of time to think, instead, he lept forward, hopping over the counter and grabbing me from my wrist. Turning me around, he grabbed me by my neck and had me in a locked position, with the knife centimeters away from my flash.
"Are you scared?" He whispered into my ear. I couldn't see his face since my back was firmly locked between his arm and his chest, but I could guess he had that psychotic look and that sick smile on. I'm glad I can't see that. Wiggeling out of his grip was not an option, since he had a knife on my neck, so I opted for a more violent approach, I've seen it in movies before, and it always worked, I wish I would be that lucky too. With my free arm, I elbowed him in the guts as hard as I could, and on
