CHAPTER ONE

“ when will the fireworks party start? “ I asked.

“ 9 PM. 3o minutes to go. “ he said.

We are sitting on the grass while still looking at the kite which is still swaying up there. Even when it’s dark already, Hyukjae doesn’t want to drop the kite down.

“ hoaaaaahem! “ I yawned.

“ you sleepy, mo? “ he asked.

I frowned.

“ what’s ‘mo’? “ I asked.

“ nemo. I shorten it so I call you mo. “ he grinned.

I giggle and smack his head.

“ don’t shorten my nemo!! “ I shouted.

“ haha okay. So nemo, you sleepy? “

“ don’t call me nemo. It sounds like im really a fish. Call me nemo hae! Do not shorten one of them! “ I asked him.

He giggles.

“ okay. You sleepy, nemo hae? “ he smiled.

I nod furiously.

“ im shoo sweeepeee! “ I said while yawning.

“ you can sleep here! “ he offered me his shoulder.

I smile and look in to his eyes.

“ weallly?! “ I blink my eyes cutely.

“ no. Just joking. “ he said.

I pout and punch him lightly.

“ you meanie, naughty hyu-“

“ if you call me naughty, I will tickle you until you poop! “ he said.

I laugh.

“ hahaha ok! I won’t say that anymore. “ I said and giggled.

He looks at me deeply.

I stop giggling.

“ huh? “ I frowned.

“ you have cute smile and and adorable eyes when you are smiling or laughing. “ he said.

I blush. Omg! I look down.

“ HAHAHAHA NO IM LYING! “ he shouted.

I lift my head and slap him.

“ Hyukjae you meanie naughty!! “ I keep slapping him.

He gets up and run away. I follow him from behind while running. We make a circle as we run. I run backwards and I get him.

“ you meannie! You meannie! “ I slap him.

“ aww! Aww! “ he whimpered.

DUAR! DUAR! DUAR!!!

I stop the violence and look up. The fireworks party starts already!

I gap my mouth, and Hyukjae does the same. We look up to the sky and the sky is filled by the beautiful fireworks.

“ waow……. “ we stun over the fireworks.

DUAR!! DUAR!!

The fireworks are bursting beautifully on the sky with many colors. It looks like flowers in the sky in the night. There are small fireworks, and then the huge fireworks will show up next.

I can feel the light of the fireworks on my face and also on milky skin of Hyukjae’s face. The fireworks are sparkling perfectly and beautifully up there, which can draw smile on our faces and amazed feeling.

“ so beautiful… “ he said and still stunning.

“ yeah…….. “

Without realizing, I lean my head on Hyukjae’s shoulder while still enjoying the beautiful of the fireworks.

The burst of the fireworks are really loud until it feels like my heart also bursts inside. My ears are filled with the voice of the burst.

The fireworks are looked like diamonds in the sky which are blinking beautifully and gives the bright light to us.

The fireworks party is about 30 minutes on going. After that, it stops.

“ end already? “ I asked and lift my head from Hyukjae’s shoulder.

“ yeah. I guess, it’s only 30 minutes. “ Hyukjae said and turned his face to see me.

“ it was really beautiful, wasn’t it? “ he asked to me while smiling.

I smile and nod.

“ so beautiful! “

“ beautiful like you. “ he said.

I blush.

I punch his chest lightly.

“ stupid. Im boy! Im handsome, not beautiful. You pabo! “ I said.

And we laugh.

“ you know, im lying. You aint beautiful,. Aint handsome. “

“ yaa here we go again! “ I punched him lightly.

“ hahaha aw! Hey awwwwww! “ he whimpered.

“ Donghae! “

Appa’s voice.

I turn to see appa. He is walking closer.

“ getting dark. We should go home. “ appa said.

I pouted and about to cry. I look to Hyukjae. He is looking at me and sad.

“ no. I don’t wanna go home. “ I said, looked down and pouted while grabbing Hyukjae’s hand.

“ it’s time to go home, Donghae. Your friend also should go to home. “ appa my hair.

“ go home, nemo hae! “ Hyukjae said while patting my back.

I looked at him.

“ I don’t want. I can’t see you again. “ I was about to cry.

“ we will meet one day. Don’t worry! “ he said and looked in to my eyes, deeply.

I sob.

“ hiks… “ I started crying.

“ shuusss, Donghae. Don’t cry. You will meet him again. “ appa shushed me.

Im still sobbing.

“ nemo hae, don’t cry anymore! We will meet again. I promise. “ Hyukjae said while my hair.

I lift my head and look in to his eyes.

“ hiks weally? Hiks. “

He nodded while smiling.

“ see? You will meet again one day. Come on, go home. “ appa carried me  to his shoulder.

“ see you later ne! “ appa said to Hyukjae.

Hyukjae smiled.

“ bye naughty Hyuk. “ I waved to him while pouting.

He chuckles.

“ bye mo! “ he waved back.

“ don’t say that! “ I shouted while pointing at him.

We laugh together.

Appa is walking to our first place and it’s back facing Hyukjae. But I still turn my head to see Hyukjae behind me. Im still sobbing. He is still standing there and waves at me while smiling.

“ how was the fireworks, beautiful right? “ mom asked me when we reached at our first place.

I pout only nod.

“ hey what’s going on to baby? “ mom asked me while my hair.

“ I don’t want to separate from Hyukjae. “ I said.

“ his new friend. “ appa said to umma.

Umma laughs.

“ you can make friends with other later, Donghae. You still have nemo plushie. It’s your friend right baby? “ umma caressed my cheek.

I pouted.

“ not that kind of friend. “ I muttered.

Mom laughs.

“ you will meet him one day. Or why don’t you make a plan to play together in certain place? “

“ no. He already went home I guess. “still pout and sad.

“ okay. Believe me, you will meet him one day. “ umma said.

I only smile. Force a smile.

We are going to our car. Appa and umma held my hand since I walk between them.

“ nemo hae!! “ a loud voice.

I stop and turn around.

I see Hyukjae is running closer to me with kite in front of his chest and his hands hold the kite.

“ Hyukjae… “ I said softly and my eyes teary.

He is in front of me.

“ here for you! “ he gave me the kite.

WHAT? NEMO KITE? KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

I widened my eyes cutely seeing the nemo as the picture of the kite.

“ where do you get this? “ I asked.

“ there, on the side of the road. Fortunately the seller has not walked far away so I still could reach him. “ he said.

I smile and take the kite.

I look down to the cute nemo kite, and look straight to him.

He smiles. I smile back.

“ thank you so much, Hyukjae. “ I said, start tearing.

He smiles.

“ we will meet again one day. “ he patted my arm while showing his wide smile.

I sob.

“ bye~~ “ he waved and then ran far away from me.

“ hiks bye… hiks. “ I muttered and waved to him weakly.

I hug the kite.

“ thank you so much, naughty Hyuk. “
