"Leader Seo..."

I could hear the voice in my quiet darkness.

"The doctors said that you are gaining consciousness and you can hear me..."

My eyes refuse to open.

"I'm going to tell you something. Listen well, okay?"

My body refuses to do what I want it to do. So I internally nod.

"Yesterday...When you left to go to the hospital..."

I barely remember the ride. It’s a big blur.

"I stay behind with your dad...Don't worry Tao went with you."

I hear Seungha shift in his seat, next to me.

"You wouldn't believe what happened..."

"How could you, dad? HOW COULD YOU?!" Naeyoung punch out on her father's chest. He let her, not just because his hands are tied behind his back with handcuffs.

Taewoo is still in shock to see his daughter in front of him. "Naeyoung...Naeyoung...Why?"

Outside the warehouse, where just a moment ago was a big incident, are police cars, officers, and ambulance people.

Seungha watches the commotion as a lady check on his wounds. He spies Jaemin's dad, who is across from him with other officers and also interested with the father and daughter conservation.

Naeyoung has tears in her eyes. "You are supposed to paid attention to me! Not do this!" The girl ceases her punches to her father.

"How are you alive?" The father searches the girl from head to toe.

Naeyoung shakes her head. "I scheme the whole thing..." Taewoo's eyes widen. "I took the pill to fake a coma...I bride the other agents to lie about Agent Seo...I did all of that so you..." Naeyoung met her father's eyes. "You can stop comparing me to Jaemin."

Taewoo freezes in his spot. He looks at his daughter with fatherly worry. He looks at a nearby officer and holds out his cuffed hands. "Can you please take these off?"

"I don't think I can-"

"TAKE THESE OFF SO I CAN HUG MY DAUGHTER!" The officer hesitates a bit as he looks at Taewoo. "Please..." Taewoo adds. The officer walks slowly to Taewoo and unlock the cuffs. Taewoo rubs his wrists and nods to the officer. "Thanks." He opens his arms and embraces his daughter, warmheartedly.

"I'm so sorry, my Nae."

Naeyoung lets out a sob into her father's arms and tightens the hug. "I'm sorry too, dad."

"No...I should be the one who is sorry. I should have paid more attention to you."

"How about me, dad?" Taewoo and Naeyoung look up to make eye contact with the boy, who stands off.

Taewoo grins and a tear spills down his face. He beckons his son. "Oh! My son! Come here too!" Daeyoung joins in the family hug. Everyone around the family couldn't help but feel sympathy.

"Boss is charged with a high fee and a month of community service."

I feel myself sigh with relief. I didn't want my Boss to be sent to jail.

"He said he should pay you a visit. From rumors, I heard Boss is turning in a resignation. The BAK probably has to find another Boss..."

I hear Seungha sigh.

"Now, Agent Seo...your dad..."

I am holding in a breath.

"Don't worry. He's fine."

I exhale in relief.

"He somehow figures out Naeyoung's scheme before last night. It’s probably gonna be hard for him and Boss to recover over what had happened."

I heard Seungha inhale and exhale from talking for a while.

"Also, EXO and 2ne1 are doing fine. They were really shaken by the incident once we told them. Don't worry, Leader Seo. I already made sure nothing leaked into the public."

I smile, internally at Seungha's report. I feel as if the conservation is finish until Seungha speaks up.

"There's one more thing I need to say..."

I stiffen at Seungha's change of tone. A more personal tone.

"I haven't been...quite honest as partners..."

I hear Seungha pause as if I would jump up and say something. I do want to, but my body is still not operating as normal.
