Happy

Joonmyeon was panicking. A human saw him. A human saw him ! This has never happened to him before. He was always careful. Always. He didn't even noticed he was in his human form. When did he ever change ? Flapping his wings faster, Joonmyeon couldn't get the human male face out of his thoughts. He was really handsome. Even from the small glimpse he got. A blush graced the angels face and he tried to hide it as he flew through Heaven's gates. A bit fluster, the head angel patted his cheeks before entering his room.

What was wrong with him ? Thinking a human was handsome. He doesn't have time to be gushing over a human. Flopping on his bed, Joonmyeon let out a groaned and buried his face in his pillows.

"Interesting as ever I see." a voice made Joonmyeon jump. He looked up from his pillow and scrambled to stand up.

"F-father !" Joonmyeon sputtered with a bow at the small child that was sitting on his dresser, feet swinging back and forth.

"Hello my child. You seem distressed." God said. "But I feel the flutters in your heart."

Joonmyeon's fading blush came back, brighter then ever.

"I-"

"You know I won't judge you. Ever."

"I know Father. It's just that..I don't know how to say what I feel." Joonmyeon said honestly. His heart was beating fast and inside his head the face of the human flashed through.

"Say what you think." God said looking at Joonmyeon with interest.

The angel nodded. Say what he thought, he could do that. Clearing his throat, Joonmyeon opened his mouth.

"I'm...curious." Joonmyeon got out of all the words flying though his head. The superior eyebrows scrunched as he hopped down from the dresser and walked over towards the angel.

"Curious about what ?" he asked.

Joonmyeon went silent at that. He knew his Father said that he doesn't judge but Joonmyeon couldn't help but feel like he would. Like he would look at him differently if he said something. God sighed.

"I see." he said before placing a hand on Joonmyeon's shoulder. "Do not fret. But also do not keep your curiosity waiting. Go to what is calling you."

And before Joonmyeon could get another word out, God was gone.

The next morning Joonmyeon decided that he would take his father's advice and go clenched of thirst in curiosity. He just didn't know when. Or how. Just go with the flow he told himself. He's good at talking to people. Maybe not as good with words like Kyungsoo or Yixing but he could hold his own. Adjusting his satchel, the head angel left his room and began flying into the sky.

As he flew over the kingdom, his mind began to wander into thoughts. Thoughts about things he really didn't like remembering.

"Oh Joonmyeon. My sweet Joonmyeon. You stay right here now. 'Nd don't move a bit ya hear ?"

"Are you goin to get my cake?" Joonmyeon asked.

"Now you stay still. Nd turn back 'round."

The young child did what he was told and turned back around facing the window. It was getting dark outside, the sky was turning it's cottoncandy colors. Blue purple and pink. Joonmyeon smiled a bit and the thought of his mother getting him a cake made his smile widen. He had never gotten a cake before. In all his now seven years of life he had not celebrated his birthday with any gift or cake. Maybe this year he would.

A sudden loud boom sound startled the child out of his thoughts and he turned around to see the figure with a large weaponed in their hands.

"Bogus I missed."

Joonmyeon's heart pounded to his ears.

Passing through a cloud, Joonmyeon blinked out of his thoughts as he reached earth. He began to fly into a familiar direction. Holding out his palm, Joonmyeon materialized the pure white roses again. He used his other hand to pull out the water in them, leaving them dry and wilted. He put the access water in a near by pond before flying over towards the grave yard. Looking at the sun, it was nearly seven o'clock.

Tilting downwards, Joonmyeon landed from the pale blue sky and his feet gently placed on the ground. Holding onto the roses tight he walked a bit forward and knelt down. His body turned solid and his knee brushed the tickling grass. Sighing, Joonmyeon began pulling petal by petal from the roses. They silently fell on the tombstone and Joonmyeon bit his bottom lip to force memories not to come.

After all the petals were long gone from the flower, Joonmyeon laid the two stems in a cross position before standing up. As he did so he met with wide brown eyes.

"What are you doing ?" Jongdae asked the other male. The boy was about the same height of him maybe taller, pale skin and otherworldly. His amber eyes widened a bit as Jongdae waved his shovel towards him  again. Brown hair blew with the breeze and Jongdae slacked in his threatening position. The guy in front of him was hot.

A blush spread on Jongdae's cheeks full of embarrassment and he quickly put his shovel down but didn't advert his eyes.

"Sorry." Jongdae said.  The guy blinked before giving Jongdae a small smile.

"It's alright."

Jongdae could swoon. Like gush and melt into a puddle of goo swoon. His voice was wow. Just something Jongdae haven't heard ever in his life. It was a bit deep but soft and so freaking kind. Clearing his throat, Jongdae caught the other guys gaze and he really didn't know what to say. So he did what he always did when he was feeling awkward.

"Cemetery closes at eight."

Stupid. He always says something stupid. The other male looked at him confused before nodding slowly.

"Ah I see. I guess I'll just go then."

Go ? Jongdae blinked at that.

"NO !" he shouted and the guy looked at him weirdly. "I-I mean no stay. I have no right to tell you to leave when you're visiting a beloved one."

The other brunette eye's softened sadly at that and Jongdae swore at that moment he was the dumbest person in the world.

"- I mean shoot ! Sorry. I probably offended you without even knowing it. I'm so inconsiderate. Come on Jongdae." the worker was now babbling. He didn't even notice when the other's lips twitched up into a charming smile. Before Jongdae could embarrass himself further, the other placed a hand gently on his shoulder.

Jongdae went frigid at that and looked up to beet those amber orbs again.

"Please do not freight. I'm alright." the boy said gently. Everything about him seemed to be gentle. Jongdae was frozen. Well until his voice snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Thanks for this talks um.."

"Jongdae." Jongdae said his name quickly and pointing to his name tag.The boys smile widen.

"Cute. Well I'll leave you to your work Jongdae-ssi." and the boy was leaving.

Jongdae was his body slowly get smaller and smaller before his voice kicked back in.

"Wait !" he called but it was too late. "What's your name ?" he whispered as the other male was out of sight.

Jongdae kicked his feet out childishly and almost smacking himself. Why didn't he ask him his name before when he realized he had the looks of a god. After remembering the boys looks and how he touched him, Jongdae felt like squealing like a twelve year old girl. Who knew a grave yard would bring in such attractive men.

"Wait." Jongdae said stopping. "Did he just call me cute ?"

.

.

"And his eyes were just beautiful Kris. Just beautiful." Jongdae gushed as he rolled around his bed.

"He's probably a deranged psychopath."

"I hate you."

Kris's chuckled rang through the phone.

"You love me Dae. I'm your only friend."

"Yah ! I have more friends !." Jongdae said offended.

"Okay name three."

"Daehyun, Youngjae uh..."

"Wow so many names I couldn't even comprehend them all." was Kris's snarky reply. Jongdae rolled his eyes.

"I really really hate you."

"Love you do Chenzi."

Jongdae's nose wrinkled his nose at that nickname.

"I really hope you're not cheating on me." Yixing's lovely Mandarin reached Jongdae's ears.

"It's just ugly old Jongdae." Kris explained.

"Yah !" Jongdae said again and he heard them all laugh.

"Zhongdei ! Zhongdei !"

Jongdae stopped smiling for a moment as a childish voice called his Chinese name.

"You're really going to have to introduce me to your kid one day." the dusty brown haired male said. His smile wider than the last.

"One day. Yixing is too busy with work and I'm busy with school."

"Well good thing Spring break is coming up. Visit me then ?" Jongdae asked hopeful.

"I'll try. You should get to bed though. It's late over there." Kris said.

"Yeah yeah dad."

He could practically see Kris rolling his eyes.

"Goodnight." Jongdae said.

"Alright my little didi. Sleep tight."

And the faint dial tone met Jongdae's ears again. Putting the phone on the night stand, Jongdae snuggled under the blankets before sighing with content. His brain not the least bit worried about school nor school. But filled with bright smiles and amber eyes.

Joonmyeon's face was on fire the whole flight back to Heaven. Did he really just call a human cute ? To his face at that ? Oh such embarrassment. Joonmyeon thought the heat on his cheeks with flare with fire at how warm they felt. He quickly went to his home and decided to go straight to his bath. He needed to clear this thoughts.

Taking off his toga and sandals, Joonmyeon let the hot water stream up into the bath. He slipped off his jewelry next. The red jewels sliding down his neck and wrist towards the floor. He kicked off his anklets and proceeded for his undergarments. They easily came off and Joonmyeon slipped into the steamy water happily. After his servants grabbed his items he sat down in the water until it went almost to his nose.

His thoughts immediately went to the human and he couldn't help but smile as he pictured those wide eyes looking at him threatening. It was just so adoring that a human trying to be tough in front of him when he obviously was so tiny and frail. Joonmyeon's thoughts also went to how the boys gaze never wavered. How he kept his sight on him like he was higher up then him. Like Joonmyeon was the one that should scurry away. A blush covered Joonmyeon's cheeks through the water as he remembered the way the boy said his name. Jongdae. It rolled nice on his tongue. He heard the human ask for his name but Joonmyeon wasn't sure he was ready to give that piece of information yet. Maybe next time they meet. They'll meet again. Joonmyeon wanted to see the human boy a bit more. He would follow his father's advice and seek what was curious to him.

And who was intriguing was the human boy Jongdae.

The head angel got out of his bath about an hour later after cleaning himself up and spending about half that time cleaning his wings until they were the purest white. Shaking them as he stepped out, the angel grabbed his towel and began to dry himself. After getting dressed Joonmyeon walked out to his balcony to watch the sun set. From his view all over Heaven was the cotton candy colors turning that midnight blue. It was beautiful really and Joonmyeon never got tired of seeing it. For some reason each time seemed different. Every sun set seemed not like the other.  This is where Joonmyeon took the saying 'Everyday is a new day' to heart. Because looking out right now, he knew that the beautiful sun set would bring an more beautiful sun rise.

A knock on his door brought Joonmyeon out of his thoughts. Walking back into his room, he opened the door to see a half awake Kyungsoo.

"What's wrong Kyungsoo-yah ? Were you sleeping early ?" Joonmyeon asked as he let the younger in. Kyungsoo nodded. His mouth then opened into a tired yawn and he shuffled his way onto Joonmyeon's bed. His sleeping garments white and green, scrunched up a bit as Kyungsoo laid on Joonmyeon's bed.

The head angel chuckled. Closing his door, he made his way towards his bed and sat next to the younger. Kyungsoo, sleepy eyed moved towards the heat source and cuddle up around Joonmyeon, placing his head on the older's lap. Joonmyeon smiled and pinched the youngers chubby cheeks.

"Hyung !" Kyungsoo whined, weakling waving a hand at him before settling down.

"Tell me what's wrong dongsaeng." Joonmyeon said Kyungsoo's hair.

"I had a nightmare." Kyungsoo whispered.

Joonmyeon's eyes furred. Angel's aren't supposed to have nightmares. Saving that thought for later he gave Kyungsoo a pat on the cheek to continue.

"It was about all of us. The treasured children. We were fighting someone. They were evil, unpure and dark. So dark that even Baekhyun-hyung's light was a like a dim. It was horrible. It felt like our powers were lacking. Like we weren't as strong as we could have been. And then I turned around and you got stabbed right in front of my eyes. It was so fast I couldn't react. It was like time stopped only for me and I watched one by one as my brothers die and I..I." Kyungsoo was almost hyperventilating. Joonmyeon put a comforting hand on his back, shushing him. His arms pulled Kyungsoo into a hug and the younger sobbed quietly in his lap.

"I'm still here Kyungsoo. I'm not going anywhere. We're all still here." he cooed.

When the boy settled down, Joonmyeon leaned down and wiped the other's tears away. He then squeezed Kyungsoo and the latter laughed. They were silent for a while minus Kyungsoo's occasional sniffing.

"Sometimes I forget you are a child." Joonmyeon whispered. His fingers running through Kyungsoo's hair rhythmically.

"Not a child." Kyungsoo mumbled. His voice tired and weak. Soon he was asleep, face buried into Joonmyeon's chest. The head angel smiled before pulling away and tucking Kyungsoo into into his bed. Careful of the younger's wings, he slipped in next to him and closed his eyes.  A hand soon slithered towards his Joonmyeon's eyes opened back up in the darkness.

"Don't leave us hyung." Kyungsoo whispered. Joonmyeon frowned and tightened his grip on Kyungsoo's hand. He wasn't going anywhere.

Jongdae was not having a good day. Not at all. First he woke up late and had to run to his classes. He didn't even bother too look decent wearing a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. Though name brand of course because he was Kim Jongdae and couldn't settle for anything less. Or that's what the kids in his classroom whispered about. Jongdae tried to ignore them but they didn't even try to hide the fact that they didn't like him.

Second, Jongdae was not by all means a morning person. A being the type of person he is, he gets even more snarky and witty when half awoke. So when his teacher tried to scold him saying,

"Jongdae-ssi. The rich must live too good if they can come to class late without a care."

Which to Jongdae said,

"Yes we do live good. Sleeping on our golden fleece pillows, one thousand thread count sheets and the money that we use so that people like you won't be living on the streets."

The class went into an uproar with laughter. The teacher glared at Jongdae but the younger male was just too tired to give a damn. Karma came though which leads to his third reason of why he's not having a good day.

Lastly, Jongdae was peacefully going to his last class of the day when he passed the announcement board and noticed that his music teacher had quit ! Jongdae almost screamed. They had less than five weeks until the competition. And now he doesn't have a teacher ?!  Under the large font was slightly smaller font saying that they would try to get a new teacher in the next two weeks. Until then they would have to bare with themselves. Crunching up the paper before undoing it and put it back on the board, Jongdae stomped to his class.

Those were the three things that ruined poor Kim Jongdae's day. But he wasn't going to let all that ruin him. It was Friday and he got out of classes early enough that he could go home and sleep for four hours and then go to work. Jongdae smiled to himself. Sleep was just wonderful. Not that Jongdae was lazy. By all means no he was a very active person, he went jogging every week and did extra singing classes. He did his school work on time (as best as he could) and went to work when obligated. But in-between all that productiveness he sleeps, eats and lays around. Sometimes he goes out. Like eating or shopping. Rare times clubs. He couldn't go to many popular places because he was known by a good amount of people. Thanks to his parents.

Speaking of his parents, Jongdae was about to walk into his house when he almost tripped over a box. Kicking it in, he shut the door behind him and picked the box up to his room. The male slipped off his pants and threw on a looser t-shirt before sitting on his bed and looking at the box. Jongdae frowned at the label. It was from his parents. Opening it, Jongdae saw a card over top of wrapping paper. Grabbing the card he read it with pursed lips.

"Jongdae-yah,

Here is one of your many presents for your competition. Work hard and don't ever give up. Fighting !

                                    Love,

                                              Mom and Dad.

Jongdae put the card aside and opened the wrapping paper to see a blazer. It was black, with three buttons and collar and hood. Pulling it out of the box, Jongdae inspected and tisked when he looked at the label. Of course it would be designer. He expected nothing less from his parents. Putting it on, it was nicely fitting and as he looked in the mirror he knew he looked good.

There was no return receipt or price tag so he couldn't take it back. Not that he wanted too but it would be easier to know that he could. His parents and buying their way into his life was nothing something he likes. He told them years ago about that but they just shrugged him off with an alright, we understand. They obviously didn't because not three months later they missed his birthday and as an apology brought him a new car.

Sighing, Jongdae took the blazer off and set the box aside. He slipped into his bed and closed his eyes. Taking a nap wouldn't hurt.

.

It did hurt as Jongdae woke up with his alarm set to six forty five and not six o'clock. He quickly put on a pear of jeans, grabbed his electronics, coat, keys and shoes before rushing out the house. He tried not to speed down the high way but who was he kidding. Going over the speed limit, Jongdae made it to work with five minuets  to spare. Getting out his car, he unlocked the door and stepped inside. It was empty as the lights were off and he heard no chatter in the back room. Daehyun still wasn't back. Jongdae hoped he was okay.

Slipping into his clean uniform, he put on his old gloves, grabbed his tools and went outside. It was still daylight for now so Jongdae took this time to do the hard work first. As he walked through the grave yard he turned his head as a petal floated through the sky. It blew in the breeze and Jongdae watched it looped and looped before turning his head.

There was the boy in all his handsome glory. He looked picture perfect as his fingers gently scattered the petals. His hair blew into the wind and his eyes cast downward. He just looked... he had a melancholy type feel to him and Jongdae didn't want to disturb. So he watched the boy at seven o'clock scatter dried white rose petals along a old gray grave.

When he was done, Jongdae brushed off the dirt from his clothes (not that it did much) and stuffed his gloves in his overall pockets. Fixing his sandy brown hair, Jongdae began walking to the other male as he stood up. Joonmyeon's eyes seemed a bit off as he stood up straight, staring into nothing.

Softly, Jongdae cleared his throat getting the other's attention. Amber eyes met his copper ones as the grave yard worker almost forgot why he was walking towards the other. Trying to get rid of the awkward atmosphere, Jongdae put on a smirk.

"So you're the one making a mess of my cemetery." he said and watched as the other panicked.

"I'm sorry ! I didn't know. I won't-"

"No It's okay I'm just messing with you." Jongdae explained.

"I see.."

And it was awkward again. Jongdae folded his arms as the other coolly put his into his pockets. Jongdae bit his lip to keep from gushing. How can someone look so cool by just putting their hands in their pockets. Moments went by before the cool guy started turning around.

"I guess I'll be going.." he trailed off.

"Wait.!" Jongdae said. He would not let this happen a second time. The slightly taller boy turn his head to look at him. "What's your name ?" Jongdae asked. It was silent and Jongdae didn't think he was going to answer.

"Suho." he finally said. "Call me Suho."

And then he was gone. Jongdae didn't know if he stood their for minuets or hours but soon the moon was up and his shift almost over. Getting back to work, Jongdae couldn't help think about Suho. The guardian.

Joonmyeon was very busy the next few days in Heaven. More quest from his father kept coming in and he had to go to each and every angel to deliver such quest. He was the only angel who could do that, seeing as he was the first original treasured. It wasn't all that hard telling them their quest and reciting the rules. But it was time consuming. He rarely had time to sleep before he was being working up again by the call of his father. This was the first year that he really saw the Lord this much. His plans must be rising. He did have a split moment to go to earth and quickly do his business. But he had to do it without anyone seeing. So he took those tiny five minuets and did his daily scatter quickly. After he was done he would fly back up to heaven and proceed with his job.

Luckily his dongsaengs tried to help him. Though they had their own jobs to be doing they took at least an hour of their day to help their brother. Zitao especially. He was the one with the most free time seeing as he was the youngest brother. Kyungsoo being older by the fifteen year old by a year. Zitao might not have been good with Korean but his angel talk spoke volumes. It was soft (not as soft as Yixing's) and had a scruff around the edges that brought you in. The head angel thought he was the cutest thing when he made a tiny mistake and pouted about it.

Being a treasured angel had it's perks. Sure you had your typical angel powers with conjuring, disappearing and granting wishes.  But being a treasured you had something more. You had your own power that came from within. It either came from something that happened in your past, either tragic or good or, it was something you were truly intrested in. Zitao's was controlling time. It was a great power Joonmyeon had to admit. But Zitao only used it when he needed. Minus helping his hyung. Joonmyeon was greatful when Zitao gave him extra five minutes to sleep or have a break. He was greatful when he speed up time so things can happen quicker. He was greatful Zitao helped him at all. Because really the younger didn't have too.

"But I want to." he would say. And Joonmyeon would leave it at that.

Some days when he didn't help he knew it was because of Baekhyun. That kid. No matter how long he spent in heaven he couldn't get away from his princely ways. He was born doted on and that was a bad habit to break. Zitao was born to protect and take care of the things he loved. And so he protect, took care and just for Baekhyun's sake he doted on him.

Joonmyeon thought it was adorable their love. Because Baekhyun was a diva when upset and Zitao didn't know how to handle such thing so he would pull the smaller into his arms, rub his hand up and down Baekhyun's and whisper "It's okay. I love you. You're my everything. I'll fight for you.I love you."  Or at least Joonmyeon thinks he was saying from the little mandarin he knows. Then Baekhyun would pull away an inch, stand tall on his tippy toes and give Zitao a kiss. Joonmyeon would then avert his eyes because that's something that shouldn't be looked at by others.

He could say he was jealous but Joonmyeon felt deep inside it was more than that. He was envious of their love. He wanted something like that. Pulling out of his thoughts, Joonmyeon looked on the last thing on his schedule.  He would have to go to earth.

Pursing his lips as he read what he had to do, Joonmyeon sat up from his desk and gave Zitao a glance.

"I'll be back in a couple of hours." he said a Zitao just nodded his head as he was deep into what he was writing.

"Don't wait up for me. I'm sure Baekhyun-ah would be upset if you keep him waiting."

Zitao smiled at that. Joonmyeon smiled back because Zitao wasn't the only one who would get an ear full of Byun Baekhyun.

Leaving out, Joonmyeon flew quickly to earth. The coordination planted in his mind and he wanted to get this deed done. The angel flew over the city before looking around. A few humans were out doing their daily business, none noticing Joonmyeon soar above them. He took a sharp turn and ended up into the poorer parts of town. The buildings were half falling down. Some seeming to be standing on their last thread. He flew into an apartment building and heading to his head. Flying through the walls, Joonmyeon ended up into the home he needed to. Settling on his feet, he walked by the person in the living room. The television was so loud that Joonmyeon had to tune down this hearing. There was alcoholic bottles everywhere and Joonmyeon could tell whoever he had to come to, must have been through hell.

Stepping into one of the back rooms, Joonmyeon heard the faint sound of water running. Turning into the bathroom he saw a girl. Her body was already laying down into the water. A radio was on letting out music and Joonmyeon watched her turn off the water before settling back down. The musIc was eerie like and sad. Joonmyeon didn't like where this was going. He watched her sink slowly into the water as the beat began to pick up. Before he could do anything her hand reached out and pushed the radio into the water. The electric current sprang all around the water and he could see the girl move back and forth as she was getting electrocuted. Soon it all stopped and Joonmyeon held out the breath he had been holding. Moving closer to her he know knew what 'Save a hurting soul' meant on the deed.

Putting his hand on the lips, he began to feel the water that was in her body. As he did so he pulled his fingers back pulling some of the water along with it. Attached to the water was her soul. Gathering it in his hands, he molded some water around it before it floated above his hands. Putting his hand above the water, he whistled a soft tune before pulling his hand up dragging water along with it. The water soon turned into a blueish green creature with skinny limbs and huge webbed hands and feet. It's eyes were huge yellow in color and had sharp teeth with scaly skin. It was his Grindylow. They were an English folk lore that he had heard going there once. They said that if a child gets too near the water, a Grindylow would snatch them up. They then would mostly kill them by drowning.

It was horrible and Joonmyeon was curious if such creatures existed. So he took a trip down to one of the seas and took by the water. He waited for a while and when nothing happened, he was about to live. Well until something wrapped around his ankle and pulled him in. Instincts on fighting back kicked in and Joonmyeon began swirled water around his ankle to get the thing off of him. Except it had a tight grip. Turning around, Joonmyeon was face to face with the creature and it looked at him shocked when he stopped struggling.

"You are real." Joonmyeon said and the creature looked really surprised.

"Talk ?" it asked in a watery voice. Taking the language of the sea. Joonmyeon nodded.

"I'm the angel of the sea."

The Grindylow eyes widened and let go off Joonmyeon quickly. It then moved back some and gave Joonmyeon a bow.

"Master." it said. Joonmyeon's eyes widened this time. By all means he was not a master of any sort. Shaking the head the sea creator didn't listen. From then on the little guy stuck too him. Over time Joonmyeon got used to it and when he asked his father, he said that soon they all would find their helpers. Evil or not.

"Hanggoo-yah take this to heaven and leave it for my father. Then come back when you're done." he said. The gindylow, Hanggoo nodded before taking the water orb into his hands and swam back into the water before disappearing. Joonmyeon named the little guy hanggoo because it meant harbor.  And though harbor has about three meanings he chose the one that meant protector.

Leaving the apartment quickly, not before saying a goodbye chant, Joonmyeon decided to say on earth for a little bit. Not that he didn't love heaven but he hasn't seen much of the world since...well a long time. Flying to the city, he stopped in a small alley way and turned into his solid form. He chose a few clothes that he saw while flying by. Stepping out the alley way Joonmyeon began walking down the streets. It was beautiful. All the bright lights and sounds. When he was alive there wasn't much like this. Everything seemed so advance.

Joonmyeon felt like a child in a toy story. Except he had the money and responsibility to do anything on his own. So he ran into the stores, tried on clothes, shoes and other items. He played with a few toys and looked at the electronics. He had fun. Something he did not have when he was alive. Stepping back out into the streets again he bumped into someone hard.

"I'm sorry." he apologized and helped the person up.

"It's alright-Suho?"

"Jongdae-ssi ?"

They both stared at each other before Joonmyeon realized the smaller boy was still in his arms.

.

.

.

"Sorry." Suho said and Iet Jongdae go. Jongdae just smiled.

"Funny seeing you here Suho-ssi. It seems like you were having fun with that smile on your face."

Suho's had a modest smile on his face and Jongdae wanted to savor it.

"Yeah." Suho said.

"This is better. Seeing you smile."

And his smile dropped. Jongdae should punch himself in the mouth. He always says the wrong thing around this guy.

"Crap I'm sorry. I didn't mean- I mean you look handsome either way but-"

"You think I'm handsome ?" Suho interrupted.

Jongdae blushed.

Suho smiled when he realized Jongdae was blushing.

Now they were back to the awkward silence. Yeah Jongdae really wanted to punch himself in the mouth.

"I.." Jongdae averted his eyes because this was really embarrassing.

"No it's alright. I think you're pretty cute."

Now it was Suho's turn to blush. Though this only made Jongdae blush harder. Though he bit his bottom lip as a smile began to form. His heart pounded as they made eye contact and Jongdae thought if they didn't do anything quick he might just melt from the others gaze.

"Hey um.." Jongdae cleared his throat. "Do you want to go get a latte or something ? It's pretty cold tonight and you'd probably want to warm up."

"Latte ?" Suho asked tilting his head and Jongdae gave him the really look.

"You don't know what a latte is ?"

"No..."

"Oh my god come with me."

And all of that led to Jongdae dragging Suho to a near by cafe. They sat down in the middle of the room because Jongdae believes being centered is being cozy. And he likes being cozy. A waitress gave them a menu and Jongdae took off his coat revealing the blazer his parents brought him. Suho did the same showing off his attractive fitting cardigan.  Jongdae gave him a mental approving nod before looking at the menu.

"Okay we will start you off with a simple latte before going into the different types of flavors." Jongdae said behind the menu.

"Okay." was Suho's reply. He didn't even look at the menu but at Jongdae. Which made the other highly nervous. But you know what Jongdae does when he's nervous.

"I know I'm handsome and all but you don't have to stare." Darn mouth. Shut up. Jongdae thought. But Suho's reaction was different from his others. This time he smirked.

"I think you're more cute then anything."

Jongdae's cheeks went on fire. Luckily the waitress came and took their order. Jongdae ordering about seven different lattes and Suho wondered why there was so many different types. During waiting, they talked about random things. Jongdae starting the conversation with 'So what else don't you know about ?" and Suho answering with a 'let's find out shall we ?"

Jongdae felt like he was flirting. No, Jongdae was sure he was flirting. With the occasionally smiles and glances at his lips, Suho had to be flirting. Because if he wasn't this would be terribly awkward. The lattes came and Jongdae placed all of the ones he wanted Suho to try in a line for the other.

"So starting from here there is vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, butterscotch, cinnamon, English toffee and almond."

Joonmyeon took sip by sip from each one. He was good at hiding his reactions because Jongdae didn't know which he liked and which he didn't. Taking a last sip, Suho sat there staring at them all.

"Soo...which one are your favorites ?" Jongdae asked. Suho pointed to vanilla, caramel and cinnamon. "Really ? I think English toffee is pretty good. He said grabbing the cup and taking a sip. Suho watched.

"What kind is yours ?"

"Amaretto. Wanna try ?" he asked. Suho nodded. Jongdae brought the straw up to the other's lips and watched him take a sip. Suho pulled back with a smile.

"Good ?" Jongdae asked.

"Horrible." Suho answered. This made Jongdae fall into a fit of giggles. Soon they both were laughing quietly.

"Oh I like you." Jongdae said between a giggle. They both paused at that and Suho tilted his head down, staring at his lap.

.

.

Say something Joonmyeon. Say something. You're the head of all angels and you can't even talk to one human. But he's really adorable right now, Joonmyeon tried to protest with himself. Half of him was telling him to man up and the other half to just sit there quietly. The arguing continued in his head and he heard the other boy take a sip of his drink. Looking up Joonmyeon felt like he could stare at the other boy forever. His pink lips and squishy cheeks made him want to squeeze the boy. But he couldn't. That would be awkward. Well more awkward then now.

The waitress came back up and set down a large dessert type thing with creme filling and strawberries, raspberries and blueberries on top.

"The boss thinks you two are just so cute together it's on the house." and she gave a smile and bow before leaving.

Joonmyeon eyes went back to Jongdae and cooed at the sight. His cheeks were so red and how he quickly put his hands up to cover them was adorable. his lips, Joonmyeon opened his mouth.

"What is this ?" he asked.

"A tart." Jongdae answered. Joonmyeon nodded but really didn't know what that was. He then looked around for a fork and noticed there was one on his side.  Picking it up he grabbed a raspberry and ate it.

"No no no. That's not how you eat it." Jongdae said. "Let me show you." he softly took the fork from Joonmyeon and  cute a piece of the tart out. "Then you just eat it."

Joonmyeon was handed the fork back and took a piece with it before eating it. It was delicious ! The flavors seemed to balance with each other well and the breading just completed it. Finishing the whole piece he noticed that Jongdae wasn't eating any but just watching him.

"Are you not hungry ?" Joonmyeon asked.

"A bit but there is only one fork."

Joonmyeon noticed that now and looked back at the waitress behind the counter who quickly turned around.

"I don't want you to starve." Joonmyeon said taking a piece of the tart and held it up to Jongdae's lips. "Eat." The human stared at him for a moment before opening his mouth. Joonmyeon pulled back when the tart was in his mouth and watched as Jongdae's eyes lit up.

"Wow ! This is really good." he exclaimed

Joonmyeon smiled.

And so there rest of the night went with them talking, taking a sip of their lattes and eating the tart back and forth. When they were done, Jongdae was ready to go home but Joonmyeon didn't really feel like leaving the other yet.

"Let me walk you home." the angel said.

"It's alright. It's not that far from here." Jongdae tried to protest but Joonmyeon didn't really mind. Jongdae gave up in the end and they began walking side by side. It was quiet for the most part. Jongdae gripping a bag from some place called Nordstrom. His other hand was swinging softly by his side and occasionally bumping Joonmyeon's. When they exited the main street and went onto a quieter and less bright street that's when Jongdae began talking.

"So Suho-ssi. Maybe we should get rid of the honorific. How old are you ?"

Joonmyeon paused at that. When he died he was about eighteen . But it's been a while since then so maybe he should just increase that age.

"Twenty two."

"Woah you're my hyung. So did you graduate college last year ?" Jongdae asked with new interest.

"Yeah." Joonmyeon lied. What else was he supposed to say ? That he died before he could even think about it. No. That wasn't going to happen. They turned down a street before Jongdae continued.

"I bet you have a nice job based on all designer clothes you're wearing."

Joonmyeon didn't say anything. When he was alive he could barely afford a good pair of nice jeans. Let alone new. It was always to the thrift shop or Mrs.Jung three doors down with hand-me-downs.  She had a son who died in military and left a lot of clothes behind that she would give to Joonmyeon when needed. Not that he went to her a lot.  Wearing a dead mans clothes didn't leave a comfortable.

"You are pretty wealthy too for a college student." Joonmyeon commented.

"Don't act like you don't know." Jongdae said.

"Know what ?"

"You know..."Jongdae trailed off gesturing to himself. Joonmyeon just looked at him weirdly. No he didn't know.

"Okay never mind. It's probably better that you don't." Jongdae said and Joonmyeon gave him a glance before nodding. Though he was curious now. They reached Jongdae's house fairly quickly and Jongdae stopped at the door before turning to face Joonmyeon.

"This was fun. I didn't think I'd run into you outside of work but I'm glad I did. I hope to hang out with you like this again Suho..hyung ?"

Joonmyeon chuckled. Jongdae just looked really cute right now as he talked to him without looking him in the eye but at the ground. Setting closer, Joonmyeon tilted Jongdae's face up with his finger and smiled.

"I'd like that too." Joonmyeon smirked. "But only if you look me in the eye when you talk."

Jongdae blushed before turning around quickly and patted his cheeks softly.

"Aish you." he whispered and Joonmyeon swore he heard something around the lines of 'so perfect'. But he could be wrong.

Chuckling, he turned Jongdae around and smiled.

"I'll see you again Jongdae-yah. Goodnight."

"G-goodnight."

.

.

.

Jongdae thought Joonmyeon was a nice distraction. A nice distraction from school, work and his parents. They hung out more as the weeks past. The cold spring starting to get warmer and warmer and his competition was days away. They had got a new teacher who was very strict and no one seemed to like her but no one said anything about it. They just practiced their performances privately. When it was time to go home they did quick bows a practically ran out the door.

Jongdae could finally say that he liked work. Only when he saw Suho. The elder boy would do his routine and then Jongdae would go over and talk to him. They seemed to have gotten closer but Jongdae felt like he didn't really know the older but he didn't say anything about it. There was still chemistry. They had a lot of chemistry. Suho was very charming. He even made Jongdae stutter. And Jongdae stutters to no one. He always has a compliment for him too. Like how nice he looked when the sun shined on him from the left or how when Suho put his hand on his cheek he would his jaw line calling him handsome. Suho would always laugh when Jongdae did something cute or smiles and tell him to look at him. Jongdae asked him why once say and he said "Because you look the most inciting when you're being you."

And Jongdae probably realized it, but he fell for each word that came out of Suho's mouth. Each compliment. He fell for the smiles and rare smirks. He smell for the hand squeezing and the kissing of the back of his palm. He fell hard.

Suho was old fashion too. He would open doors for Jongdae and hold onto him when they walked down the streets.  He would always say goodnight, goodevening and goodmorning. He would always ask how Jongdae was. He would make sure Jongdae wasn't hungry nor thirsty. Not that Jongdae minded any of this. It was all new for him. To have someone besides Kris who cared about him. Only about him and not his money.  It frightened him though, to know that in this small time span he had gotten so close to the other.

"He's wonderful Kris." Jongdae said as he was cooking himself some fried rice and talking on the phone.

"Well I'm glad someone is treating you right. But I sure hope to meet him soon."

"You're coming over ??"  Jongdae was excited. He hadn't seen his best friend in almost three years.

"Yeah. Not just me though. Two extras like to hang on to me." Kris joked.

"Two ? You're bringing your kid ?" Jongdae asked.

"Where else would he go ? Yixing has no family here and my mother is back in Canada."

"True. I can't wait to see him since you never take any selcas with him. Or that I know of. I still can't get the hand of weibo. Plus it's all in Chinese." Jongdae said flipping the rice a bit.

"Yeah yeah yeah you'll love him. He's like the reincarnation of Yixing. Except he acts like me."

"Oh god. Anyone who acts like you needs help."

"Shut up."

Jongdae laughed. "Alright Krissy I'm just playing. By the way how old is the kid.?"

"Almost four."

"Oh my god you knocked Yixing up when you moved back to China ! I can't believe you."

"I'll be saying the same thing when someone knocks you up." Kris said.

"So when are you guys coming ?"

"In two days."

"You'll be here to see my show ! I'll get you guys some tickets."

"I just have amazing timing don't I." Kris said in his usual cocky way.

"Oh shut up you're still a dork."

"Hey-"

"Baba wo è le."

Jongdae smiled at the cute voice and laughed a bit.

"Well I have to go now Jongdae my son is hungry." Kris said.

"Mmm let Yixing-hyung feed him. You might burn the house down."

"Yah ! I can cook ! You ate my rice before." Kris tried to defend himself.

"Yeah but that was some type of Chinese rice that I never had before. I didn't know what it was suppose to taste like."

"Yeah yeah yeah. I'll see you in two days brat. Tell your boyfriend to be ready for a serious talk."

Jongdae smiled.

"Okay Kris. See you in two days."

And they hung up. Kris leaving Jongdae with a smile on his face.

.

"Would you like to meet my friends ?" Jongdae asked Suho the next day. They were seated outside at a shop. Jongdae eating a bowl of kuksu and Suho eating doenjang jjigae.

"Um how many ?"

"Just two and their kid."

"A child ? That would be refreshing. I love children." Joonmyeon said  taking a bit of his food.

"You do ?" Jongdae asked with curiosity.

"Yes. I do."

.

Kris and Yixing came the next day at about ten at night. The knock on the door surprised Jongdae because he was midway asleep watching cartoons on his television. Opening the door his eyes widen as he saw the happy but obvious jet lagged faces of Kris and Yixing. Kris was holding a small body in his arms. Jongdae blinked as he stepped aside and let the family inside. They slipped off their shoes and Kris took off the child's before they walked into the living room.

Jongdae followed them before standing in front of them. They stared at each other and Jongdae blinked before he jumped on Kris giving him a hug.

"Kris you're here !"

"Yo be careful of the kid." Kris said.

"Sorry." Jongdae got off quickly. He then stood on his tippy toes to look at the boy.

"He's beautiful." Jongdae whispered. The boy really was. He had long lashes and pink lips. His nose is so small and cute. His black hair falling gently and his chest moved up and down as he slept. Kris chuckled.

"He's all Yixing." his said.

Speaking of Yixing, Jongdae looked at him before pulling him into a hug.

"Yixing-hyung !" Jongdae cried.

"It's nice to see you again Jongdae-yah." Yixing whispered the younger's back. Pulling away Jongdae took a deep breath before letting it all out.

"I bet you're tired. You're old room is still intact Kris. I'll see you guys in the morning."

Yixing nodded grabbed their son and walked to the back room. Kris followed after but stopped.

"It's good to be home Jongdae-yah." and then he was gone leaving Jongdae with a sleepish smile on his face. It was good to have them home.

.

The next morning Jongdae woke up to someone patting his face. Opening his eyes, he was met with wide brown orbs.

"Zhongdei !" the child cried happily when he realized Jongdae was awake.

"Hey kiddo. What are you doing in here ?" he asked. But the child just spat out random Mandarin that Jongdae could not decipher. Hearing chuckles from the corner, Jongdae saw Kris standing with a smirk on his face.

"What the heck is he saying ?" Jongdae asked.

"He's wondering why you're talking jibberish. He keeps saying speak right. Speak right."

Jongdae cracked a smile at that.

"Sorry." he said in Mandarin which had the boy giggling.

Sitting up, Jongdae yawned before picking the kid up and walking out his room.

"What's your name ?" Jongdae asked.

"Kunlan !" the boy said.

"And that means ?" Jongdae asked Kris.

"Earth Orchid."

"That's pretty." Jongdae then looked back at Kunlan."Such a pretty name for a pretty boy." he said giving the child an eskimo kiss. They walked into the kitchen and Yixing was just putting the last plate of food on the table.

"What's this ?" Jongdae asked.

"Congee." Yixing answered. "It's traditional Chinese breakfast." he explained. Yixing then took Kunlan from Jongdae's arms and the boy happily squealed out a 'Mama !' Yixing began talking to him in Mandarin and Jongdae brought his attention to Kris who was sitting in front of him.

"So how are you Jongdae ?" he asked.

"Good actually." Jongdae answered truthfully.

"Is it because of your boyfriend."

"He's not my boyfriend." Jongdae blushed.

"Are you sure ?" Kris teased.

"We haven't even kissed yet." Jongdae admitted.

"Aw that's cute." Kris laughed. Jongdae punched him on the shoulder.

"Shut up. You'll meet him soon today. I told to meet us at the park at noon."

"That's good. Then I can give him the talk."

"No need. He's really kind."

"Still. I don't want you hurt. You are my little brother."

"Ew don't get touching with me." Jongdae said lifting the mood.

The rest of the morning went with them eating, talking and playing with Kunlan. When it was almost time to go they all got dressed and Jongdae cooed at how cute Kunlan looked in his little shorts and tiny sandals. They drove in Jongdae's car and reached the park ten minuets before noon. Kunlan quickly ran to the play ground and Jongdae smiled at him.

"He sure is energetic." Jongdae said.

"You don't know the half of it." Kris said. They all were sitting on a bench watching Kunlan and waiting for Suho. Jongdae peaked up from his phone when it turned noon and was surprised when he saw Suho walking towards them.

"Suho !" he cried running to the other and wrapping his arms around his neck. Suho pulled him close before whispering in his ear.

"How are you ?"

"I'm great. I'd like you to meet my friends-"

"Joonmyeon ??!" Kris and Yixing both exclaimed.

"Joonmyeon ?" Jongdae said confused.

"Jongdae-yah you didn't tell us your boyfriend was Joonmyeon." Kris said walking over to them with Yixing in tow.

"Wait you guys know each other ?" Jongdae asked confused. The two Chinese males nodded.

"He's my brother." Yixing said.

"Brother ?!" Jongdae turned back to Suh- well Joonmyeon.

"Yeah about that-"

"You didn't tell me you were half Chinese ! You don't even look Chinese."

"I'm not." Joonmyeon said.

"Then how are you brothers ?"

"I-"

"Baba ! Mama !" Kunlan ran over to show the Chinese males something.

"You have a son ?!" Joonmyeon exclaimed.

"Why don't we go somewhere private." Kris suggested.

They ended up driving to Jongdae's house since Kris and Yixing were staying with him and no one knew where Joonmyeon lived. Jongdae was fuming the whole ride and even slammed his door as they stepped inside scaring Kunlan. They all sat in the living room after putting some cartoons on for the child. Jongdae spoke up first after a moment of silence.

"So you've been lying to me this whole time." his voice was quiet and Kris glared at Joonmyeon for making his best friend this way.

"I'd never lie to you." Joonmyeon said reaching out to grab the youngers hand but Jongdae pulled it back.

"You lied about your name."

"I haven't did such a thing. I just called you what most people call me." Joonmyeon explained.

"You didn't even tell me you had a brother." Jongdae then looked at Yixing. "You didn't tell me you had a brother."

"I did not think it was convenient." Yixing said.

Jongdae groaned in realization.

"Of course you guys are brothers you talk the same."

"Sorry." both angels said.

"Is there anything else you want me to know before I find out in a dramatically awkward way ?"

"Um.." Joonmyeon looked at Yixing as his voice trailed off. They seemed to be communicating with their eyes as Yixing sighed and Joonmyeon shrugged. The angel then opened his mouth and began to speak but no words came out. Yixing did the same and Jongdae couldn't help but wonder if he was momentarily deaf.

"What the ? What are you two doing lip talking ?" he asked.

"No." Yixing said before going back to 'talking' to Joonmyeon.

"Then what are you doing because we don't have time for games hyung."

"We're talking." Yixing briefly explained before going back.

"Talk-" Jongdae had to shut his mouth before he said something wrong. When the two was finished Yixing looked annoyed and Joonmyeon distressed.

"Suho..." Jongdae said and Joonmyeon cleared his throat.

"I guess I should start from the beginning." the angel said.

"Is he about to do what I think he's about to do ?" Kris asked and Yixing nodded before shushing him.

"It started in the late 20's when I was born."

A young woman around the age of eighteen was walking around hanging onto a mans left arm.

"Haedong-ah. Why don' ya marry me already ?" she asked her voice thick with a country accent.

"Get off me Jaeyoung. Ain't no man gonna want you when you're big as a house with that baby in you." Haedong said.

"What if I get rid of it ? Would you marry me then ?"

"Maybe." was all the male said. He then stopped in front of his car and unlocked it. Shaking Jaeyoung off he quickly got into his car and drove away. Jaeyoung was upset but she continued to walk home. As she walked down the street she could feel people eyes on here. People judging her. Laughing at her. Looking at her with disgust as something grew within her. Maybe people would love her again if she got rid of it. Maybe then she'd be married and living in a big old house like she always wanted.

But no, she was still single and living in a small two story house. As she made it inside she had a thought. Quickly running up the stairs as fast as she could she reached the top and turned around facing them all. Gulping, she shook away her fear because this was the only way. The only way she would be getting somewhere in life. Talking a deep breath, she jumped.

Waking up, Jaeyoung head pounded. She opened her eyes to realize she wasn't in her house. The sound of talking and metal moving caught her attention. She looked around and realized she was in a clinic. Looking down at her stomach it looked considerately smaller then it did a day ago. Smiling she couldn't believe it worked.

"Miss Jaeyoung ?"

Looking up she saw a doctor and wiped the smile of her face.

"Yes ?" she asked.

"It's good to see you awoken. It seems like you've fallen down your stairs. Hurting yourself and the baby. Luckily he is alright."

Jaeyoung's world froze.

"He ?"

And the curtains opened to reveal a small baby boy. They placed him in his mother's arms and everyone began to smile as she cried thinking they were tears of joy. But they weren't. She could kiss her whole rich life goodbye. Well as long as the boy was still alive.

Eight years later Kim Joonmyeon was alive and well. Well, as well as he could be with all the hard labor his mother put him through. Even at such a young age she put him to work. Woke him up early for cleaning and barely gave him any food. And as much as she tried. She just couldn't get rid of the boy. He was very redundant. Always getting up with every hit. Recovering from every bruise and it seemed like her harsh words didn't effect him. Little did she know they did.

As a young child Joonmyeon didn't really know he wasn't welcomed. But he sensed something wrong when he couldn't play with the other boys or even go to school.

"I'm not made out of suds." she'd say talking about money whenever Joonmyeon would ask about something. And those were rare times when he'd want anything.

When Joonmyeon was a pre teen and teen he knew something was wrong. He didn't feel welcomed at all. He didn't feel wanted nor loved. He could think about the times his mother tried to shoot him or hurt him purposely. He could remember that when he got sick once and she never got him any medicane. She was cruel, selfish and evil. Joonmyeon wanted out. But every time he thought about her almost killing him he would be too scared to move.

Joonmyeon never had a birthday party. He never had a Seollal or Chuseok. Usually his mother would give him a list of tasks to do as she would go out and celebrate without him. Because he would not be allowed to. If he asked why his mother would say that he is not worthy enough. That his value is as good as nothing. So Joonmyeon would just sit in self pity and hope something better came long in the world.

When Joonmyeon was eighteen he got out. Leaving his dead beat of a nothing mother to her own mournful life. He traveled across his country to the cities. There Joonmyeon tried to made something of himself. Tried to see what life would be like on his own. But he was too innocent. Too oblivious to the outside world to know anything. But that wasn't his fault was it ?

He found out he was very good in literature so he had gotten a job as a subject to a famous writer. Lucky Joonmyeon but his boss traveled a lot so they never stayed in one place. But the old saying goes travelers should be careful of what comes in their path. Joonmyeon's boss was not so careful. For the three months Joonmyeon worked for him he found out that his boss only cared out his writing and never really came out of his tent only for inspiration. Which wasn't good as he had no one to protect him. No one who really liked him. The only ones with him was his workers and subject Joonmyeon. As they crossed into Daegu, Joonmyeon saw familiar roads and knew he was close to his home town. But as they walked into the next city, people were running and screaming. Children and babies were crying and in the corner of Joonmyeon's eye he could see a body covered in blood.

Turning to his boss he quickly asked for what to do. They had to get out of here soon.

"Head for Busan !" his boss said and the younger workers quickly ran. Joonmyeon tried to wait up for his boss but the man just pushed him forward.

"Go !" he yelled at Joonmyeon. "You have more to life then to be under me ! Save yourself !"

And soon Joonmyeon was running. He had grew stronger from the days of labor and walking everywhere with his boss. Though he had a car they really didn't use it unless needed. Joonmyeon now wished he did as an explosion was heard next to him. Quickly hiding for shelter, Joonmyeon hid behind a large cart. Another person had the same idea as they were hiding too.

"What's going on ?"Joonmyeon asked the girl.

"It's the north. They don't want to become an independent country. They've invaded from the border. We have no help now that they've reached the south."

"Don't speak like that. We are a strong country. We can-"

Joonmyeon didn't have anymore time to speak and another bomb exploded. Grabbing the girls hand, he quickly ran from their hiding position trying to get further and further away from this part of the country as possible.

"Where are we going ?" the girl asked as they hid again behind a large stacks of hay.

"Somewhere safe." Joonmyeon said. He peaked through the stack and saw men in uniforms walking around. He put a finger up to his hand telling the girl to be quiet and she nodded her head. They sat there for a while. Hoping the men would walk by soon. When they heard no more sounds, Joonmyeon turned his head around to peak but before he did someone grabbed him by his hair and tugged him out. He watched as a man grabbed the girl and pulled her back too.

"Look what we have here. Two runts."

"Kill them and set them to the ditches. They'll be the first ones. A sign of what is to come."

Joonmyeon's eyes widen as he heard that. He tried to break out of the men grip but they were locked tight around him. As he continued to struggle someone hit him on his side causing him to cry out in pain. But Joonmyeon would not give up. He had to live. He just got his freedom. He wasn't ready to loose it.

Getting his hands out of the mans grip, he pushed them off of him and began running. A loud boom was heard and he turned his head to see the girl fall to the ground as a bullet went through it. Trying not to cry Joonmyeon picked up his running speed. He could hear the men shouting to get him. Capture him. Kill him.

He could see the outline of the exit of town. He was almost there. Just a few feet away. If he put more energy he could make it right ? He could live ? But why did he hear a bang ? Why did it hurt ? Why was the world tilting? Why was everything black ?

Joonmyeon read in a story once that if suddenly your seeing a green grassy field and a bright blue sky then you were already dead. So why was that when he died all he could see was his mother. His mother laughing at him, yelling at him. Trying to hurt him, to kill him. Why didn't he see a grassy field and blue skies. Why didn't he see dandelions growing. Why didn't he, Kim Joonmyeon feel peace when he died.

And suddenly he heard a voice. Asking him why was he crying ? How he should not feel pain in the joyce of heaven. Joonmyeon wondered that too. Why he felt pain when he was in the happiest place you could ever go.

"But Heaven doesn't feel like a happy place to me. I still hear her yelling. Her cries. Do you know what I did soon as God let me ? I found her grave.  Her burial place. And I couldn't feel more at ease. I wanted her to die as much as she did me. Because I wasn't worthy enough right ? So why would she. But through all that anger I can't ever bring myself to say that I didn't love her. She was my mother. How could I not love her. So I found the only thing that I could do to symbolize my pain. And that was scatter dry white pose petals along her grave. Because her death was the loss of her virtue. Her morality. Dignity." Joonmyeon looked up at Jongdae with teary eyes.

"I hate her." he said. "I hate the only family I ever had. Because she did not leave me at death. So I had to find a happy place. I found you."

Jongdae's eyes widened at those words. He was already crying from the story but the words Joonmyeon said just hit him.

"You-you're not lying right ?" Jongdae asked.

"No. I'd never ever lie to you." Joonmyeon answered. This brought Jongdae into more tears.

"Oh God." he cried. "I fell in love with an angel."

Joonmyeon's eyes widen at that and he reached over to grab Jongdae's hands. This time other didn't pull back.

"You love me ?" he asked. Jongdae nodded.

"You took my heart Kim Joonmyeon. So please don't hurt me."

"I would never." Joonmyeon pulled Jongdae up from the couch and into his arms. "Because you have mine as well."

Jongdae paused his crying before sobbing even harder. "I hate you. You're such a Casanova." Joonmyeon smiled at that and took Jongdae's chin in his hand to lift his face up.

"Look at me." he whispered and Jongdae met his eyes. "I've never been so happy in my life to meet any human that isn't you. Any one that isn't you. How are you so perfect Jongdae-yah ?"

Jongdae blushed at that. "I'm not perfect. But I thought you were ever since I met you."

"How could you think someone was perfect as they looked so distressed."

"Because you looked beautiful filled with emotion. Just as you do now."

Joonmyeon smiled at that. "And you call me a ..cassinova ?"

Jongdae grinned. "Can you kiss me already ? I've been waiting forever to do this."

"You don't know forever unless you lived a lifetime like me." And Joonmyeon placed his lips over top of the youngers. Jongdae arms wrapped around his neck and grabbed the back of his head pulling him closer. Joonmyeon didn't mind though. Because this was the perfection of Jongdae he was talking about.

They pulled away but Joonmyeon kept coming back. Kissing Jongdae on his keeps and nose, eye lids and lips.

"You're so cute." the angel said squeezing Jongdae closer. "I can't get enough of you."

Jongdae raised an eye brow then smirked. "Do you want more ?"

Before Joonmyeon could answer someone cleared their throat drawing the two out of their own world.

"Sorry to interrupt you two but Kunlan wants to go out to eat and I think we could use a good lunch." Kris said. The two nodded moving from each other but never letting their hands go.

"I suggest this great cafe with cute little cakes. Would you like that Kunlan-ah ?" Jongdae asked the four year old and the boy nodded from his position in Yixing's arms.

They got in the car and Joonmyeon turned around in the back seats to Yixing.

"You're still going to have to explain to me how father gifted you a child." he said in angelic. Yixing nodded before smirking.

"Why, do you want one of you own ?"

Joonmyeon looked at Jongdae and stared at how the sun shown on him perfectly and couldn't help but think yeah. He wouldn't mind having one.

Chapter 2: Aigo~. This was completely awesome. Your writing is amazing. Hum... Could it be ChanSoo or KaiSoo? (Besides, I'm really curious about his nightmare as he wasn't supposed to have one).

Chapter 2: One of the best ficks I ever saw. Seriously it's so ridiculously good I stopped studying and decided that three hours of sleep have to be enough because I need to finish this. And I don't regret.
