She was the one who made the decision.

She was the one who hardened her heart and wrote that letter.

She was the one who ended it.

She was the one who initiated this breakup.

And so, why is she also the one who’s hurting?

Why is she also the one crying alone, hugging herself close to herself, on her bed, and biting those trembling lips to prevent the cries from getting louder?

She never thought this would hurt that badly. She did it with the thought that it’s going to set everyone free, set him free.

And deep down, she had that little hope, hoping that he will actually hold her back and stop her impulsive acts.

Her hope was crushed.

Just like how her soul was.

He did nothing.

He didn’t bother to call her, text her, apologise, stop her, nothing at all. He let her go just like that.

Isn’t this what she had wanted?

It would be a lie to say yes, and that she’s glad he did nothing.

Because after all these, it just proved that, to him, she’s not someone worth putting effort for.

She’s not someone worth fighting for.

She’s just someone, whom he can let go that easily

And just with that simple thought, her tears started flowing uncontrollably.

It was not supposed to hurt that badly.

But it did. A lot.

And truth to be told, she misses him already.
