Summer Wedding
Amber's POV
The next morning I heard the door opened, I quickly got up and greet my future wife, I got confused she looked like she couldn't get any sleep at all, i ran towards her and supports her to the bedroom, seeing that she's too tired I carried her and lay her down on the bed, pecks her forehead
"I love you princess"
I head downstairs to make breakfast
After making breakfast I took a shower first before eating breakfast and wash the dishes and heading to work, leaving a note on the table
When I arrived at the office I was greeted by Noona, she's my coworker and a close friend
"Good morning Noona"
"Morning Am"
She smiled as I pass her
"Am?"
I stopped and turn to her
"Hmm?"
"Can we have lunch later?"
I nod with a smile
"I don't mind Noona, if you'll excuse me I need to do a report on our proposal"
She nods and head to her desk and I did as well
Jessica's POV
It was now our break and I was about to call Am when I heard his voice
"Ready Noona?"
A smile crept on my face as I nod
"Then lets go"
He walked ahead and I followed him
During our lunch break, we were having friendly chitchat like always but he seemed different, like he's just faking his smile
"So noona is someone you know courting you?or are you eyeing someone?"
His question made my heart sting 'you have no idea who i want Am and he's sitting right in front of me' i smiled and shook my head
"No one, no one at all!"
I took a bite on my food and earn a chuckle from him
"What?"
I wipe my face, he shakes his head, wipe it on another place he shook again
"Let me"
He brush the crumbs off of the corner of my lips,
"Unnie? Amber?"
My heart stopped when I heard Krystal's voice, I turn around and saw Krystal and Sulli, Amber stood up and helped his fiancee
The two interact like they were still in college, yup the way Amber did on how he courted her
"Shouldn't you tow go back to work?"
Krys said as she point at us, Amber showed his dorky smile before nodding
"We'll be going then"
He kissed Krys on the cheek but she didn't respond, nothing at all
"See you Unnie, Hyung"
I bowed and followed Amber, he glanced behind his shoulders with a sad expression 'what's wrong with him?' Then turn to me and faked a smile
"Was the lunch good or what?"
My heart stings when he does that, wearing a mask to hide his loneliness and sadness 'I'd do anything for you to get that dorky and sheepishly smile back, anything'
I am now frustrated on finishing this report today, I'm the only one left in the building
"Some work I have!"
I screamed out loud to relief my stress, then I saw a hand placing a paper bag on my table, I turn around and saw Amber with a gentle smile
"Figured you were hungry, so I got you McDonald's, sorry that was the only thing that has less line"
I shook my head when i saw him smile apologetically
"Thank You Am, I thought you went home already"
"I was but I saw you stressing out so I bought you first something to eat"
"Wanna eat with me?"
Amber blinked then I realized what I said
"I mean if you want to?"
He chuckled and nod
"I am a bit hungry"
Tonight is the happiest day of my life! He and I had been messing with each other like he does with my sister and to be honest I'm happy
