It was 8:00 pm. I walked through the streets of Gwangan, and regret wearing a dress.

The cold air from the beach shore embraced my legs as if a welcome home sign. 

I walked hurriedly inside a club to escape the chilly night air.

The club was refined, all white like a cruise ship just over looking the beach.

I made my way to the bar to get myself a drink, "Jack Daniel's on the rocks." I said through the music pumping loudly, I couldn't almost hear myself.

I turned my back and rested on the ledge.

My gaze scowering the dance floor.

Late, again. He was always late.

"Sorry. We ran out, we only have beer." The bartender said.

I flicked my hand, signaling that it was okay. "Yeah, that will do."

Where are you?

Finally, I saw him. Sticking out from the crowd. He had his dirty blonde hair pushed back.

He was looking left and right.

He was looking for me. 

I turned to face the counter and started chugging the beer 'til the last drop.

I placed the empty bottle down with a thug.

I look up, and saw him, leaning against the table, smiling at me, applauding slowly and shaking his head.

"You didn't change at all" He said, standing upright and examining me.

"So did you." I said, looking up at him.

His eyes went up and down my body which made me think that I should have just worn jeans.

He was wearing a white button down shirt leaving the two upper most buttons undone.

His laugh broke the silence, realizing I was staring at his bare collarbones the whole time.

"Let's get out of here." He said, putting his hands inside his pockets and giving me a wink.
