Eunji P.O.V 

"I know but what's the point of breaking ones heart while the other clearly doesn't want me Namjoo?"I wiped away the tears that's been falling 

Namjoo look at me and then her eyes landed to the floor and let out a heavy sigh 

Both of us turns quiet and silence fills up the air, suddenly my phone rings screaming to be picked up 

I check the caller's name and it was Baekhyun, hesitantly I pressed the green button and put the phone to my ear 

I heard his voice pleading to me saying sorry 

To be truthful I like that he called me cause it's been awhile I didn't hear his voice

"Eunji I'm sorry, I know you're mad at me right now but please listen. I've a reason to why I acted that way just now" he said 

"But still you don't have to suddenly came in and attack us like that! it's wrong and embarassing me Baekhyun! I don't like what I see just now" I said 

"- and why were you soo mad at Chanyeol?" I asked 

"I-I- I tell you other day, just have a good rest. I will call you again tomorrow" then he hang up 

Once the call ended Namjoo take both my hands and let out a deep sigh then she pulled me into her embrace and patted my back 

"Just be patient with all the challenges that might come unnie" said Namjoo 

Chanyeol P.O.V 

I was busy doing my work when suddenly my secretary came in "Yes? What is it Hyeri-sshi?" I asked 

"Mr Chanyeol there's someone looking for you outside" said Hyeri "Who?" I asked with my eyes still fixed on the paperworks 

"Hi Chanyeol~" the voice was soo familiar that I look up and surprised to see Eunji 

"Okay thanks Hyeri-sshi you may go" Hyeri bow and excuse herself out 

Once the door is closed I went up to Eunji "Its a surprise to see you here" Eunji smiles 

"I wanna apologize to you about the incident the other day" I kept my silence

"Are your face okay?" Eunji saw the bruised on my mouth and hold on my chin checking it 

I softly takes Eunji's hand off my chin and sigh "Eunji I'm okay don't worry, can I ask you a question?" I look at her dearly but she avoid my gaze 

"What is it Chanyeol?" she said looking down to the ground "Why can't it be me?" she sigh and look up 

"Chanyeol you're a good guy and you takes care of me really well but the special someone for you is not me, I love you too but as a friend a buddy which is precious to me and I don't wana lose you and even though it sounds selfish but I want you to know that you're really a good buddy to me-" Tears slowly starts to b at the corner of my eyes 

"- Chanyeol I know I've been mean to you and ignoring you when it comes to the times when you've been trying to make me known and understand your feelings cause I just can't give you feel like there's hope when obviously my heart till longs and waiting for Baekhyun all these years. Even though we're over now my heart it still skips everytime when I see him and I want you to know that there's someone out there waiting for you, please don't wait for me anymore" Eunji get up and bow to me then excuse herself too 

At this moment I couldn't control my tears anymore it fells profusely and I couldn't stop it

Author P.O.V 

After the incident the other day Chanyeol suddenly went missing without any news 

Everyone has became worried, wondering what has happened to him and want to know wether if he's still alive or dead 

Baekhyun on the other hand felt guilty for his actions the other day, he's been leaving tons of missed calls and text messages but non was replied 

"Oppa do you know what's the reason to why suddenly Chanyeol oppa went missing ?" asked Namjoo 

"I- I don't kow either" Baekhyun stutters

He then fall deep into his thoughts and didn't even realise his phone has been beeping signaling a new text message has came in

"Oppa your phone" Namjoo nudge Baekhyun whose been spacing out "oh okay" said Baekhyun then check his phone 

From: Chanyeol

To: Baekhyun 

Let's meet. I see you at the usual cafe at eight tonight.

Baekhyun then tuck his phone away inside his back pocket and back to staring out to the window glass 

Chanyeol P.O.V 

I was sitting at the right corner of the cafe staring onto the glass wall waitng for the arrival of Baekhyun 

I think it's time that I told him the truth that I've been keeping all along 

"Hey" I look up and sees Baekhyun who seems a bit hesitant to sit 

"Hey, have a sit" I said calmly 

"What's up? Where have you been?" asked Baekhyun cautiously 

"Thought you didn't care about me anymore ha" I smirked

"I know I'm sorry, I was wrong I just couldn't control myself the other day. Is your face okay?" he asked guilty

"as you can see it still a little swollen" I said 

" Baekhyun-ah there's something I wanna tell you but please promise me you won't be mad?" I look up and stare deep into his eyes 

I could see that both pair of those eyes are in despair

"Okay I try to but it all depends on what you gonna say" said Baekhyun 

"why do you push Eunji away? Why are you sacrificing yourself for me? Why do you wanna help me soo much?" I asked continously which makes Baekhyun flustered

"I-I-I just think it's the only way for me not to hurt you, remember when you were drunk and cursing at me after a heartbreak cause of Eunji?" Baekhyun asked loooking at me for an answer and I just nodded 

"I was the one whose accompany you and listen to all of your complains, I was surprised to see you in such a state cause you have never been caring for other girls but when I see you like that cause of Eunji I felt guilty. I feel like I've taken away my buddy's girlfriend so I decided to gives her to you" after I'm done listening I felt soo guilty and a jerk

"Eventhough you know Eunji loves you yet you willing to sacrifice her love for me?" I asked with a firm and cold tone of voice while Baekhyun just nodded still hanging his head down 

"Baekhyun I'm sorry for being selfish for these past few years, I know I'm being self-centered, jerk and a usless buddy nor brother to you but I love Eunji too much that I thought maybe by sending you away I will have the chance to be with Eunji but I was wrong -" Baekhyun look to me confused 

"- Actually I knew about the overseas scholarship that had been offered to you and I am the one whose behind it. I asked my aunt to fake it like as if you were to study overseas on a scolarship but actually everything was planned and sponsored by me, I'm sorry" I added 

"So everything was actually planned to send me away?" asked Baekhyun dissapointment is seen on his face

"I know Eunji likes you even before she confessed to me cause I saw the way she look at you but I still wants her to be mine so I purposely puts the pressure on you and asked my aunt for help, when you're gone I thought my plan had succeeded and the only thing i gotta do is try to win Eunji's heart and make her loves me too but her love was too faithful and sincere to you -" Baekhyun kept his silence and continue to listen to me 

" I've tried all ways to make her fall for me, I waited for her all these years but when you finally came back Eunji's heart started to shake again. I'm getting more scared that what I've been worrying might happen and it really did. Eunji love for you is very pure Baekhyun don't you lose it and regret it. True love only comes once run after her buddy, plead to her to come back to you no matter what or else my love would be funny if even you didn't get her" I said feel like a burden has been lift off

"-and I'm sorry for being greedy and self-centered, please forgive me?" I look to him pleading for forgiveness 

While Baekhyun on the hand still silent frozen in his position 

Baekhyun P.O.V 

Whatever Chanyeol confessed to me earlier I'm still trying to recollect everything back and be conscious

It kinda too much for me take in everything right now 

"Baek? Baekhyun-ah!" Chanyeol snapped me out of my dazed 

I look at him and didn't utter a word "Please say something? You really making me feel worried and miserable by keeping silent like this, please! say something" Chanyeol said worriedly and guiltily

I breathe in and out then look again at him "I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise not to stay mad at you but one thing I wanna ask what's the cause of you to suddenly confessed everything to me? What's your motive?" I asked 

"I don't have any motive Baekhyun, Eunji came to see me the other day to check on my wounds and she rejected me upfront, it was like as if she's telling me to stop whatever feelings I have for her which is cruel but I umderstand and won't diturb her anymore. She told me even though you guys had break up her heart still skips for you and it was originally yours all along , I'm just the one whose been trying to deny it.  I just realize that love can't be forced even if you tried really hard, it needs to come naturally and Eunji had prove me that to love someone it has no boundaries -" Chanyeol said 

"-run to her Baekhyun and grabbed her before I changed my mind again, I barely holding myself back from going to her again" Chanyeol added 

Bomi P.O.V 

"Yah Yoon Bomi why aren't you doing your work? What are you thinking again?" Kris snapped at me

I glare at him then rolled my eyes "just mind your own business okay?" I said irritable

He smirked at me and went away, suddenly my phone beeping 

I checked my phone and there was a text message from Eunji

From: Eunji

To: Bomi 

Let's meet at the usual cafe. I've got something to discuss.

"What is it you wanna discuss Eunji after deceiving me?" I mumbled to myself 

"Deceiving who?!" Kris shouted slightly loud 

I glared at him angrily while he gives me his silly smile 

Ugh! This guy purposely wanna annoy me!

Author P.O.V 

Once Bomi reach at the cafe she saw Eunji sitting by the glass wall sipping on her drinks 

She walked up to her slowly when Eunji saw her at the entrance, Eunji gave her a small smile 

"Hey, how have you been? It's been quite long we didn't meet" said Eunji trying to start a conversation with Bomi once she's seated opposite of her 

"Yeah I guess long enough till only now then I found out about you and Baekhyun" Bomi said sarcastically 

"Sorry Bomi, I heard from Namjoo that you and the others have already known about us" Eunji apologized for hiding it to her 

"How could you?! am I your bestfriend or not? are you having fun laughing at me for putting on high hopes for Baekhyun to see me ?! You knew I like him but why do you still go on a relationship with him?! and even hid it from me!-" Bomi said sternly 

"- I'm really dissapointed in you Eunji. I am really upset when I found out about this,and why is it Namjoo is the first one to know instead of me?!" Bomi added 

"I'm sorry Bomi, I am really really really really really sorry. I didn't mean to hide it from you but since you had told me about your feelings to Baekhyun, I feel like it's best to keep it a secret as I don't wanna break your heart" Eunji said trying to gain sympathy from Bomi 

"I don't care. I just feel that it isn't the right thing to do, if you really care for me you would have told me so I could have move on" said Bomi 

" I know and I'm really sorry. I'm not having a good time either and  we have already broken up years ago" said Eunji 

Bomi then smirked and sip on her drinks then look again at Eunji 

"I'm sorry for being mean to you right now, I just still need more time to cool myself down anyway I heard about your problem with Baekhyun but please don't hope for me to convince you to patch things back up with him. I hope you understand" Bomi said and then she get up from her seat and walked away leaving Eunji alone 

Eunji P.O.V 

My both palms covering my face then I wipe away the tears that lingers at the corner of my eyes

What Bomi said to me just now really stings but I can't blame her 

Then I pack up my things and then get
