Krystal’s POV

Pretty Boy’s face looked better than, not as pale as before. His body’s warming up. I sighed with relieve. I would be regret in the rest of my life, if something happened to him. I though Pretty Boy must be tired after waking up, so I decided to make something for him. Pork porridge is the best for sick person. I surfed on the internet to find how to make it. Actually, it’s the first time I cooked something. I never tried it before. “First, we need some ingredients such as rice, pork, vegetables, spice, etc…” I read. I had it on my fridge, indeed I never buy something like that, because I never cooked, and not interested in cooking. Since Pretty Boy came to live with me, he often went to supermarket, bought them and prepared meals for me.

I went to kitchen and started making it. I washed the rice, chopped the pork, and sliced vegetables. I never expect holding a knife could much difficult than drawing someone. I made it ugly, I even cut my finger. It hurts like hell. “Pretty Boy, you must be lucky because you can taste my food” I mumbled and kept chopping, slicing, cooking.

“Finally it’s done!” I wiped my sweat off and said cheerfully

Nobody’s POV

Pretty Boy moved his body a little bit; he tried to sit up, but failed because he felt exhausted right now. “My head, my body …” he groaned loudly enough Krystal could hear it. She rushed to the living room while holding the hot pork porridge.

-          You’re up – Krystal smiled happily

Pretty Boy tried to remember everything before he fainted. He remembered he and Krystal were kissing; she his neck, and plugged something under his skin. Then he fainted completely. He startled as seeing Krystal, and remembered she told him she’s a vampire.

-          You … vam…vampire – he said without thinking

His face looked scared, and his words made Krystal feeling hurt deeply inside. She knew he’s scared of her. She also predicted what he would react after waking up, but she knew expect it would be hurt like this.

-          Are you feeling better? – Krystal said and was about to sit next to him

-          Bet…better – he said and moved far away Krystal

-          It…It’s good – Krystal said with a strained smile – Um … here’s porridge, please eat it

He stared at the hot porridge with suspected eyed. From the look he gave Krystal, she knew he’s suspecting her.

-          There’s no toxic or poison. Don’t worry – Krystal said to him

He didn’t reply, kept giving her suspected look, Krystal took a spoon of porridge, and ate it.

-          See? No poison. – Krystal said

-          Um… thank you – he hesitated

-          You must be tired, eat it and come back to your room. I’m tired too, I’m going first – Krystal said

-           Krys, I’m … - Pretty Boy wanted to say something, but she’d gone before he could say it

Then she went upstairs, locked her room. She felt extremely hurt, and betrayed by him. “I know he will treat me like I’m a monster” she mumbled alone. Krystal started regretting what she did just now. She thought she shouldn’t let him know about her true identification. She jumped on her queen-sized bed, and chuckled “Human are the same, they’re just hypocritical. They never treat you well if they know you’re a vampire. You’re too naive when putting your hope on them, Krys” Tears started rolling on her cheek. It’s the first time she put her hope on a human, and finally she received the suspect from him.
