Remind MeLast Chapter
September 19th, 2019
The beautiful music played in the background as the bride walked next to her father. She glanced up at him and smiled thankful for everything he and her mother had done for her and all the support in every single decision she took.
Taking a quick look around, the girl was beyond happy to see all her closest family members and friends proudly looking at her.
Sarah was of course the maid of honor, and after a few years of matrimony, her life with Yongguk was going on smoothly in Busan. She was happy operating the charity home along with him, and the bride, despite her busy schedule made time to visit her.
She once thought she'd never go back to see how Sarah managed to set her life straight and fall in love, but she finally did. Sarah was content, and she couldn't be happier.
Sunhwa was standing right next to her with a big smile and very ecstatic. To her it was funny how after many years they spent against each other they became so close, just as Youngjae had said. She really became like a motherly friend who worried constantly for her. But she learned to love that side of her.
The music kept playing and the girl sighed deeply as she got closer to the altar.
Glancing up at the groom who seemed to be tearing up as he glanced at the beautiful girl dressed in white. His one and only best friend put his arm on his shoulder and then pat his back with a proud smile. Now Youngjae and Daehyun, after mending their differences, definitely became as close, or even closer than they were as adults.
She glanced at Daehyun who kept giving Youngjae his support and she sighed happily again. To think that the day that boy rejected her feelings, her life would change so much. Now he's one of her closest friends she couldn't live without. He always looked out for her, and even when his best friend did wrong, he never left her side.
Junhong and Jongup were also there, and they were smiling at the girl who couldn’t help but to smile back and look down. Remembering how they were right there by her side when things turned unexpectedly. Jongup was a sunshine that made her smile even in her hardest moments.
As for Zelo, he gave them a hard time at first, but holding on to the future she lived, she didn’t give up on him. Even when Youngjae still had his disputes with the younger one, the girl knew deep down he loved him, especially considering that Junhong gave him the last push so he would finally confess. He really played a big part in her life after all.
Right next to them, Yongguk and Himchan stood smiling just like proud older brothers. The last was sometimes a nuisance, but she couldn’t imagine her life complete without him. Youngjae and him sort of came into some sort of accord, which explained why Youngjae was calmer towards him in the future, but Himchan still loved to see her annoyed face so his personality basically remained the same, and she wouldn’t want him to change.
Yongguk, was her easy going, comprehensive and sweet friend. She could talk to him about anything, and he would patiently listen before giving his opinion. To her, he reminded her of a caring father. He showed his support in many ways and just as Sarah said, they became really close. It became clear to her why Sarah knew something was the matter with her when she was in her older self body when she treated him as a strange person. Since, he was definitely no stranger to her.
As the music ended she was already standing in front of that man, that man that had accompanied her in her best and worst times. She was completely convinced that he was the right one.
Her father pecked her cheek and hugged her before handing her to the groom.
“I trust you’ll take good care of her.” –He said and the girl looked down as she smiled all flustered.
The groom nodded and glanced at the girl affectionately. “I will. With all my might Mr. Park.”
Her father gave the boy a look of approval and gave her hand to him.
There was something about this moment that made the mere touch of their hands even more special than many times before.
With both their hands together the groom glanced tenderly at the girl before him, both their hearts beat out of control.
The soon to be husband leaned close to her ear and whispered: “I’ve been waiting so long for this day…”
He really had no idea how those little words made the girl feel. She glanced at him and leaned up close to his ear and softly said:
“Me too…” –They snickered together as if they were in their own little world and then glanced forward.
The view behind the altar was beautiful, as they decided they would have wedding on that beach they both loved. The weather wasn’t too cold or too warm, making it perfect for the event, that being the reason why they chose that date.
Also, this was the place she recalled, where her feelings for him flourished, and for him it held beautiful memories of their time together.
…
The time was almost nearing its end, and after requested, Jongup made his way to where we were standing with the rings. I timidly glanced at Youngjae as he picked up the ring. Taking a deep breath as he gently took a hold of my left hand, I saw him chuckling at my sudden nerves.
But reality was, I couldn’t help but to remember the first time I said I wanted to be his wife. After confessing all my feelings in th
