Lu Han is slumped at his monitor  wondering where life went wrong. Was it when he made that dumb bet with Jongdae about Chanyeol placing into Grandmaster league? Should he have dropped out of the tournament as soon as it was evident that they organisers really believed he was a woman? Maybe he never should have gotten into this damn game with Chanyeol in the first place.

“Will Goddess please come up to collect her prizes?”

Lu Han is wearing a frilly pink gingham dress, grapefruit coloured hair extensions formed into two braids are clipped to his hair which is of the same hue, slightly accessorised with a bright yellow star clip, and his face is lightly made up to enhance the feminine aspects. He finally realises that the MC is summoning him up to the stage and his body’s autopilot takes over and he slowly walks to the front of the stage.

Smiling in front of the press cameras Lu Han, known on the Asian SC2 server as Goddess, takes in the whole situation. He’s alone in Taiwan and has just won first in a female only SC2 tournament because his friends didn’t know where to stop with a bet he lost and the judges couldn’t tell he was male.

That was the first tournament of Lu Han’s university pro-gaming career.
