I Came for Your Voice, Then Stayed for You [dropped]
Description
Lu Han plays Starcraft II every odd once in a while for giggles. Oh Sehun plays Starcraft II to destroy lives and make bank. Oh Sehun is also disgusting because he plays zerg and Lu Han is the best female SC2 player in Korea.
Foreword
Uh... This is an AU. There will be Starcraft II pickup lines and they will be cringeworthy
I feel like Lu Han would actually be more of a Protoss player but I know jack about playing toss so sorry everyone heuheuheuheu.
I love everyone who reads my drivel.
Here's a playlist!
Also here's some basic points about SCII that will probably come into the story:
Leagues: Players can be ranked into seven leagues, they are:
Grandmaster
Master
Diamond
Platinum
Gold
Silver
Bronze
Obviously bronze is the lowest and GM is highest. The aim for most people is to break Gold. Gold means you have a firm grasp on the basics of SC. If you are higher than Gold then you are hot .
Races: For story purposes this is probably all you need to know
Terran: Terran buildings are the ones being destroyed in the picture. Their units are pretty much human and look like space soldiers. They cannot build on zerg creep and their buildings have the ability to lift off into the air.
Zerg: The above is a screenshot of a Zerg base. Their units are gross and buglike. Overlords are the round floating things, they spread the grey substace seen on the ground (called creep) because Zerg structures can only be built on that. Overlords are also the Zerg supply unit, which means the more workers or soldiers you want, the more overlords you'll need.
Protoss: The Protoss are super special magical aliens who make pretty buildings. They can only build things close to those blue crystals with the gold rings (pylons).
Other Things: Typically you should type a quick "glhf" (good luck have fun) or some variation at the start of the game, and at the end before you surrender you type "gg" (good game) or some variation. Not doing this is considered BM (bad manners).
Surrendering: An actual loss occurs when all of your units and structures are destroyed, but usuallly it becomes really obvious when you have no hope of winning so usually a surrender is what happens.
Macro vs Micro: When you're good at "Macro-ing" that means you're really good at managing your economy and resources and building things. If someone is good at "Micro-ing" then that means they're good at controlling units (like directing them to fight or repair things)
