My Awful Marriage is a story about a player and an fiesty girl being involed in an arranged marriage. Both of them had their own lovers and were unhappy with the fact that they had to be married with someone they don't like. Thinking that the elders will give up on setting the both of them together, they fought and argued everytime. Donghae's grandma was so determined to make Jessica or Jung Soo Yeon her grand daughter in law and thus she decided to make them stay under the same roof and made them engaged for at least a year before they were allowed to separate.

"Father! I have someone I love! Why would you force me to marry someone I don't even know?"

Jung Jessica or Jung Soo Yeon

A fiesty girl. She was raised in San Fransisco, USA. Being there for her whole childhood, she became frank and has a strong personality. Her family consists of her parents, her and her younger sister. She works as an English teacher at Lowell High School which is quite known. The first impression of her may not be that good if she didn't like the person, however, she's actually a girl with lots of cuteness and she has the ability to make someone laugh at her small actions.

Lee Dong Hae

A well known player. Being the only son in the family makes the elders very fond of him. Despite being a player, he cares a lot about the people he loves and will protect them no matter what. At first, he intended to become a lawyer, but because of someone, he decided to become a doctor. Currently, he has a high postition in the Seoul Hospital. He is a quiet type of guy and people rarely see him get mad or lose his cool. His family consists of his grandmother, parents, him and his older sister.

Henry Lau

An American born Chinese. He's the son of the owner of Lowell High School. A wealthy boy with charisma. He was often described as innocent and honest. He don't like lying to others just to make them happy and just say what is in his mind.

Park Da Ra

Dong Hae's junior and they have a close sister and brother relationship due to her brother; Park Chan Yeol who is friends with Dong Hae. She had been secretly crushing on him since they first met due to his caring and supportive actions. She is currently working as a famous model.

Park Chan Yeol

A good friend of Lee Dong Hae who is currently also working at the same hospital as him. He is a funny guy who always put on a wide smile and his nickname is happy virus. Hates seeing people sad and is an animal lover.

Jung Krystal or Jung Soo Jung

The younger sister of Jung Jessica or Jung Soo Yeon. Her personality is much less the same as her sister. You won't be able to rest once you get on her bad side because she will keep on haunting you. But shows lots of cute actions if she likes you.
